How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It was a steeper walk than we expected, but should have realized from the pictures. The view was amazing
Beautiful view of the harbor and nicely updated room. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I can’t say enough great things about this hotel, the location, the apartment, the breakfast and the staff and management team are all brilliant! Every detail has been thought about in the hotel, from the styling of the rooms, the handmade furniture, mini bar to breakfast! The views are amazing, we loved our stay and can’t wait to go back!

In addition to our previous review of this fantastic accommodation and our highest rating we forgot to mention how fantastic the breakfast was. This was served to us daily and consisted of everything you wanted with a great choice. You could certainly last all day on what is offered. Apsolutly first class and thank you again.

Nothing negative to say!
View from the room was amazing (room itself was beautifully decorated and super clean), the people running it went above and beyond to make our short stay exceptional (they picked us up themselves from the port on arrival and took us back on departure, gave us recommendations for things to do/ places to eat, breakfast was also lovely especially their homemade banana pancakes!).

These apartments are absolutely fantastic! They are ultra modern and sleek with super comfy beds and extremely stylish decor with hand made furniture. The staff were amazing, picking us up from the port and taking us back too. The breakfast was great value and more than we could eat! I really can't recommend the apartments enough, the staff were brilliant and the location was amazing with views over the port. In terms of value for money these were the best apartments we stayed in on out 10 day island hopping trip. We will be returning for sure. The island is lovely, really unspoilt and the locals were so friendly.

Was a little further from the port than we thought but staff were very helpful.

We could not be happier with our choice of accommodation. The room was spacious in a central location, very nice, modern and super clean. The owners/stuff probably the nicest people I have ever come across. I would strongly recommend it totally worth it's money.

It is located on the hill with a marvellous view. The decoration of the room and amenities are excellent. The owners and staff are veey helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay there next time

Only thing is it’s high up and a few stairs. But that’s the price you pay for a magnificent view. Could not have a better view.
The staff were exceptional. There was nothing too hard and they were always cheerful and helpful. Picked me up from the port and took me to the airport without charging, even though I offered.

The noise from the restaurant above went on for hours. You could hear the dragging of chairs. And the walk up from the port area and shops is not for the faint hearted. Be prepared for many pit stops and lots of water.
The view and the staff were excellent.

The fact that you have to track out up and down the stairs in the melting heat. We were picked up from the ferry port by the host and taken to our ferry too and we really appreciate the gesture, but if you do not have your own car, after a while this trek becomes tiring. Also, give how much they charge per night, 120 euros and given the fact they are located in the middle of nowhere we feel the breakfast should have been included. Or any small token of appreciation that we usually got in other greek accomodations..
It is a beautifully decorated apartment with a stunning view. No fault in that.
