Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomI have no complaints.
The hotel is easily overlooked because it is in a side street but the location, close to the National Theatre, Omonia Square and 2 metro stations was ideal for me. The beds, with memory foam mattresses, are very comfortable. My room had a safe and a small refrigerator. The staff were very obliging.

United KingdomThe location of the hotel isn’t great if you’re a female solo traveller. I arrived around 10pm and realised it wasn’t a safe area. I was thankful the reception staff didn’t sugar coat this for me and did advise I didn’t walk around the area alone at night which was helpful.
The room was a decent standard with a balcony, clean, good size and quality you’d expect for the ratings. Very friendly and helpful staff

Greecenothing like the photos but it is alright for its money, plus the staff was really nice and friendly and always there to help with anything. The shower did not even had a door and there was a weird smell from the bathroom, also the location of the hotel is not in a good area.

FranceNot for families! This not the place. Nothing against the hotel itself, it does what it does: short term stay. Know what you are in for. I slept ON the blanket. Just sleep, don't think about it and get out. The "wind" blew some trash on the balcony that I had to cleanup. But not the hotel fault And the elevator is minuscule and old, but once again not much the hotel can do about it. Would crash here again if needed
Friendly and helpful staff, room is fine, it was clean and the balcony is great. Very close to everything in the center at a very cheap price. Great for an overnight stay IF you can get a high floor room (5+), for a busy Friday night I didn't hear much noise. I'm guessing the lower floors would be quite noisy. You get what you pay for, this is a bed and a shower, a roof over your head for the night. Adjust your expectations and this is a decent.place.

United Kingdomwhen make up the bed ,they did not change the bed sheet and pillow cases ,it’s still the same. ,they will just stretch so it will look like its made up but the truth is they have not changed the bed sheet and pillow cases at all,I complained about this ,and they admit that the bed maker who is allocated that day was a little but stupid ,why they hire such a worker like that. when u ask to make up your bed it’s understandable that pillow cases and bed sheets needs to be change not only stretching them and fixing them as if it’s made up, but for God sake change the pillow cases and bedsheet at least that’s the idea of making up bed in the hotel ,I can see my previous dirt from the pillow cases and bedsheet which was not change ,I was really furious that day,

United KingdomLots of immigrants, lift was bad, very noisy which made me feel unsafe, staff were horrid and one night a stench of sewage came up from the sink I had to take my toothbrushes out. The shower was small and there was no black out blinds
It was very noisy, constant slamming of doors which made me feel unsafe. The staff were not good. I went unwell and had go call an ambulance and I asked my cousin go come up to the room they said he wasn't allowed I explained I was pregnant, had an ambulance on the way and I could not walk down to reception so I needed his support. They did not make an allowance even though I made it clear I was pregnant and seriously ill and couldn't walk so it was not the time to have an argument about my cousin coming to the room. I then missed my flight so I booked a few more nights yet they didn't put it on the system so woke me up asking me to check out even though I'd paid for more nights and told Reception. There were alot of immigrants

AustriaTrue, there are many drugged people in the neighbourhood, so I avoided walking around too much during the night. But the hotel is very close to the metro station, so I could anyway enjoy an evening in the city centre and come back to the hotel while feeling rather safe.
I enjoyed the position of the hotel: it is very close to a metro station, and the city centre can anyway be reached with a 20 minutes walk. My room was clean and comfortable, and the staff friendly. Everything worked well in the bathroom, which was not always the case for other hotels within the same price range I visited in Greece. I was expecting an ok hotel, but eventually it exceeded my expectations. For some positive astronomical conjunction, even possibly annoying external factors did not bother me: the two mosquitoes trapped in my room did not sting me; and the loud neighbour was listening to very good music which anyway stopped at a decent time. A hotel in which the mosquitoes do not sting is a great choice XD

United Kingdomtheres nothing I didnt like, but if you know Athens at all then you will know this area can appear a little rundown. I personally never had 1 problem and i was out late most nights, walking back at 4am etc. its about a 10 minute walk to the main area with bars restaurants etc.
a great little option which ticked all my boxes good wifi ✅ balcony ✅ good air conditioning ✅ the staff are all very friendly and helpful. I was also very happy with the rate I paid so i extended for more nights. a great small hotel I would 100% stay here again.
