When arriving, we had some difficulty finding the apartment keys, but with Raphael's help we got them in a few minutes. The apartment was also missing one set of bedheets and towels when arriving, but they brought it to the flat within an hour without us having to ask for it, as they recognized the issue themselves.

The location of the apartment is fantastic: 20m from the Acropoli metro station, but the flat is absolutely silent thanks to modern windows and doors. The apartment is fully renovated and clean, equipped with everything. Located on the second floor, but reachable by elevator as well. Must see the sunset over the Acropolis from the roof! There is a supermarket in 2-ish minutes of walking as well as numerous restaurants with both Greek and international options available, including vegetarian, if necessary. Raphael, the host, is very kind, available for questions and generally super helpful.

The apartment is somewhat poorly sound-proofed, but that wasn't an issue for me. No particular views from the apartment windows. Again, no issue for me, just didn't expect that.

Lovely landlords/-lady. Quick response to my requests. Easy check-in and check-out. Great location. Exceptional views of the Acropolis and surroundings from the rooftop terrace. Comfortable interior, well equipped, nice style. Small balcony so you can sit outside if you want. I will definitely recommend the Star Acropolis Apartment and hope to come back myself one day. Thank you very much for a lovely stay!

The hosts were fantastic. They knew we were coming off a night flight and they worked hard to have our room ready early for us- a very unexpected surprise! After a few hours sleep we were ready to explore Athens. Location is excellent. And getting to apartment from airport on metro was so easy.

I can't think of anything

We had such a crazy experience with travel and had to send updated details multiple times and the hosts were so kind and quick to respond every time. We are so grateful for this experience, we couldn't have asked for better hosts or a better location to stay for our time in Athens. The most special thing beyond these two points, was the terrace view of the Acropolis! I guess I had overlooked this when booking so it was a wonderful surprise and so AMAZING! I have attached pictures of the view. The apartment was also perfectly located, it was right by the South Slope of the Acropolis and museum. We arrived by Taxi but the Metro station was just across the street and would have been a great option as well. We will remember this trip fondly! Thank you!

Perfect location in the Plaka very close to the Acropolis

Trash on schedule. Also no paper down toilets -- even toilet paper. Be warned. But it did not work out to be an inconvenience and we were there for 4 days.

Location -- at the base of the Parthenon. The rooftop views were great. Great restaurants and shopping all around. Easy walk to the historic sites. The apartment was great. Clean, nice accommodations. Host: Outstanding. He arranged for a taxi from the airport and to the port to visit the islands. The Taxi driver and the host spoke perfect English. The taxi met us at the airport and drove us directly to the property -- and we were able to talk to the host on the way. And he met us at 7AM to catch the ferry to the islands.

Large apartment, super clean, with AC and quite modern. It is well located right at the feet of the Acropolis ramp to go up and has good terrasse restaurants downstairs on each side of the front door, pedestrian area, and Plaka shops and restaurants area on the right, very clean and secure with lots of people, police surveillance and tourists. Everybody speaks English. The rooftop terrasse is great with amazing view of the Acropolis, especially at night, to relax with music coming from street guitar musicians below, memorable. During summer, there is a music festival in the evening in the old acropole theatre, check for tickets. The apartment has camping chairs you can bring up for the terrasse, otherwise it is empty. Be aware of the specific elevator to go up to the terrasse. There is also a 24h McDonalds very close, which is practical for late arrival or early departure. Cab ride from airport is fixed 40eu, lots of taxis on the Blvd a bit further down to go somewhere. No need to pre-book transportation.

The free wifi somehow was not fast enough for my phone to upload photos to the cloud, but it was no big deal. I could still video with my family back home.

Location was very convenient; the apartment was spacious, well equipped, and very comfy - too comfy that I almost didn't wander off to tour! The hosts were extremely accommodating and made everything so easy for me. I'd definitely look to stay here again next time I come back!

Location was perfect - around the corner from the entrances to the Acropolis and the Archeological Museum. Plenty of restaurants, cafes and carry-outs on the walking street below the apartment. The location is outstanding for convenience to the Metro and exploring Plaka and the Acropolis. The apartment was spotlessly clean, modernized, and well lighted. Our hospitable host Rafael graciously met us with our key minutes after 11 when our flight into Athens was delayed.

The apartment is beautiful, in the center of Athens, and with the most stunning rooftop view. The owners are so lovely, and super helpful! They supplied a list of their local recommendations (I went back to the bakery twice..), and did a quick apartment tour to make sure everything was okay.

Property is perfect. Wi-Fi occasionally patchy but that’s a minor issue.

Location is excellent; across the street from the entrance to the Acropolis museum and 100 meters from the Acropolis itself. We watched the NYE fireworks from the rooftop. Raphael organized a driver for us to and from airport. Very smooth checkin and great recommendations for restaurants.

Everything was perfect. Raphael and Sylvia are extremely friendly and helpful hosts who really care for their guests. Very stylish appartment, spotless clean, kitchen is modern and fully equipped, wonderful bedroom. Best location in Athens. And you just take the elevator, go to the roof terrace and enjoy a breathtaking view of whole Athens, with the centre of European Culture - the Parthenon Temple of Acropolis - just 50 m in front of your eyes.
