The neighbourhood can get a little weird at night. There were street works in progress right in front of our window, which means getting up 7-8 am when they start drilling and putting sand in one day and digging it out the next. Lots of people walking their dogs up and down Streffi hill so that means lots of barking. Other than noise polution I don't have any remarks.

A very nice place, just like the photos. Spatious, clean, new, fresh towels and soap. Location is ok, but there are some suspicious characters going round at night. The communication with sthe staff (via msg) is excelent and you can enter without any trouble even if it's the middle of the night cause everything works on codes. The roof is amazing. The street right at the gate turns into a farmers market every Saturday where on the plus side you have fresh fruit and vegetables right at your nose and on the minus side by no chance should you leave your car there or if you're arriving / leaving Saturday before noon, you have some walking with your suitcases in front of you.

The hotel environment can be noisy (but you can just close the windows). Internet connection is not always stable.

Large rooms, balcony, kitchen appliances, very good air conditioners, high resolution TV, vibrant environment with a bakery, grocery, and minimarket nearby, many good restaurants and bars around, night live, city's places of interest at a walking distance.

We lived on the 2nd floor and noise was comming from outside - motorbikes in late evening and street construction works in the morning.

Modern, clean, comfortable apartment with everything we needed for our stay. The view overlooking Athens from both apartment and rooftop was amazing. Centrally located to everything. Within walking distance to supermarket, cafes/restaurants, city etc. The local area overflowing with interesting places to explore. .Sophia was very welcoming and helpful.

We loved our stay at Strefi Hill Suites. Comfortable and great space to relax in after a day exploring Athina. View from the balcony was amazing. Location is excellent with lots of cafes,/restaurants, bars, supermarkets and walking distance to everywhere. We highly recommend Strefi apartments and would definitely return..

The only downside was the stairs located next to it where the locals like to sit out and party. Some evenings there were quite loud.

Great location near two metro stations. The apartment was comfortable and spacious, the roof terrace was a really nice addition to the property ( brought breakfast up there and some coffee) so I can enjoy the view while having it.

very cozy rooms, super-equipped interior, clean and well-kept, very nice staff and the lady who rents it, very helpful and nice, not far from the metro line and lots of tasty restaurants nearby, close to Lycabertus Hill, where there is a beautiful view of the city. The roof terrace is 12/10 perfect for evening relaxation with a view of the city and the Acropolis. I really recommend renting this apartment

You’re on a steep hill which means a lot of steep walking which wasn’t great for us traveling with an 84 year old and recovering from acute bronchitis.

Great place to stay with nature in your backyard. We loved our stay here and had a great time on Strefi Hill. We loved picking up breakfast at the bakery and then walking up to the park behind the apartments to eat our breakfast in the sun.

Lovely apartments in a really nice local area in Athens. The apartment was spacious and had everything you needed. TV, washing machine, kitchen and lots of space and mirrors. Lovely local restaurants and bars close by. Would recommend to stay here.

- the mattress super comfortable for two people who usually don’t sleep well together. Really important for 13 nights together - kitchen had what we need - made use of the washing machine - the building generally felt quiet, my sleep was rarely disturbed - we like to sleep under heavier duvet so they kindly gave us another blanket. Pillows quite firm but we got used to them over time - staff were very nice - farmers market right outside the building on Saturdays which we got to experience twice - building is halfway up Strefi hill so take advantage of it and go to the top to see a view of Athens - my favourite places to eat, get coffee and bakeries are in this area so I’m pleased with my stay completely - taxis were always less than €10 to locations we wanted to go to such as music venues and Kypseli area. so be nice and tip your cab driver - I want to be back already :’)

The balcony door on the living room was problematic. It wouldn’t close tight, maybe the seals were torn or bad and every time a car or a bike would pass for the street you could hear a very annoying buzzing sound! For us who slept on the couch bed it was a nightmare at night, we barely slept…

Our apartment was great and clean, we initially booked one without a balcony but got a call from booking telling us the hotel wanted to upgrade our apartment to one with a balcony. That's indeed what happened and completely free of charge! The staff is really friendly and Sophia's really helpful, she also made sure we had all the info we needed a few days before our arrival. The hotel is not super central but we were able to walk everywhere, you might need to walk 20/25mis to get to the main attractions but we didn't mind at all. Walking distance from the Acropolis is roughly 40 mins and about 20 mins by taxi.

Strefi Hill Suites is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting Athens. We stayed for 4 nights and couldn't have been happier. The room was very comfortable, equipped with a smart TV which was great for relaxing evenings. Plus, it had everything you could possibly need for a stay – it truly felt like a home away from home. Excellent localisation - max. 30 minutes to all important places - Syntagma, Partenon, Lycabetus hill. Specific climat - it's alternative district, between anarchist/left side, artistic and intelectualist, many palestinian flags, marxist slogans, bookstores with used books and graffiti - but it's authentic and makes (I know, it's tourist perspective which irritates activists) climat. Many bakieries - not chain stores - and eating places (sometimes naiv alternative but not sophisticated) nearby, it's important for family. Apartment is silent, clean, very comfortable, with great view from terrace. Without golden door handles and fancy design - but everything is solid, new, good quality, comfortable.
