Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe breakfast was very good but the cooked food needed to be kept hotter. It is a good 25 minute walk to the front of mamari from summer village.
When we arrived at the village we were very disappointed with our room as it was not as seen on the website....however we were moved the following day and it surpassed our expectations. The room was lovely with our shared pool and sunbeds allocated for the stay. The staff were exceptional ...from the lovely lady who cleaned our room, the kitchen staff , bar staff and the girls on the meet and greet reception....nothing was too much trouble. There is a lovely Greek taverna next door, and the food there was lovely. We ventured into marmari and found a very nice restaurant that is also associated with summer village. The beach at marmari was lovely sand , we had to pay for the sunbeds here but only €10 for the 2 for the day with an umbrella. It took about 10 minutes to grt to the beach by foot. The bus service to Kos was easy and we did this x 3. We had a very relaxing week here, thankyou everyone, especially Anastasia.

United Kingdomthe location isn’t ideal if you like to go into Kos town, however there is a bus that runs pretty frequently and it’s only 2.10 Euros. also I didn’t enjoy the food included in the room rate however they have a restaurant/bar attached to the hotel which is pretty good.
the staff are super friendly and go above and beyond to support your needs. Everything is clean and modern, which is great! they also have a treatment room on site which is fab for massages, and a shop right next door which is handy.

Germanyin general , the rooms have a view to the other buildings of the hotel. in some cases, they can also have a view for the field around, that doesn’t look nice. For me this can be a no go. But I was lucky to have a room with a view to the garden/ pool. the music on the bar of the hotel was a bit loud for me and went quite late ( after 23hs). But closing the windows helped to silence it.
renewed and comfortable rooms good breakfast nice garden and pool area close do the beach.

United States- the food was edible at best, the drinks were very watered down - the other guests were overwhelmingly old and rather crass - they wanted to charge 10 euros to rent a beach towel (just go buy one for half the price at the store!)
- the staff is friendly and welcoming (especially Maria at the front desk!) - the bar next to the pool is solid - the facilities are clean and recently updated - a quick walk to the beach - Vespa rental was easy

PolandInitial stress related to overbooking by hotel. Instead of my booked comfort triple, I was offered a bigger room (1 bed more) for 2 nights and was asked to change in the middle of the day when I was supposed to be on a trip... As I could not, they wanted me to change to a tiny double for us 3 adults... Fortunately, it was later solved satisfactorily by the owner - we stayed in the 4-bed 'family' room till the end. But the 1st day was spoilt completely... Bathroom: size ok, no "glass" door, completely open and good water temperature, but... when you take a shower the floor is flooded completely. But the only real sad and distracting issue is NO DESIGNATED AREA for smokers. They can smoke anywhere they want... at the pool with the wind you cannot escape them, at breakfast or lunch when they finish and the smoke gets into the inside area. Same on lower room balcony - so you have to close yours. An on beaches. But this is the specifics of whole Greece. How I wish it changes finally...
Food was ok. Our room was very ok - nice 'animal farm' with all their noises outside the balcony (when open). Though you get woken by the rooster at 2.30 sometimes, we treated it as "agrotourist" stay... Maria - evening receptionist - ideally nice :) Mosquito nets at the windows - useful. Nice and friendly bartenders. Wonderful sea nearby (within walking distance).

United KingdomIt was a shame that there wasn't much in the room to welcome us after a long journey and arriving at night time. It would be good to have some complementary drinks in the fridge and tea/coffee/sugar etc. Whilst we had two glasses and mugs for coffee these weren't cleaned for the entire time we stayed so we had to try to wash them up in our bathroom which wasn't really satisfactory. It would be good to have a few more hangers for clothes as my clothes were very creased and an iron is always helpful. We found that the hotel was a little too far to walk to a few places, 15-20 minutes to get to the shops and restaurants on the beach was quite long in very hot weather, likewise the shop next door to the hotel was useful but the nearest supermarket was a bit of a trek too. We felt that the hotel could really do with putting on a shuttle bus to the beach and also to Kos town or other nearby areas as it was hard to get around and taxi's were really expensive, plus as we were a family of 5 we had to get two taxis which cost a fortune. More information could be provided on how to get around the island by bus and where the stops are as we struggled with transport quite a bit.
The beds were comfortable and the room cleaned very well everyday. The breakfast was really good, lots of variety and plenty of it. The pool area was gorgeous and we loved the bar/restaurant next door. All the staff were really friendly and helpful at the hotel. Easy to get an air conditioned bus to Kos town at the end of the road (and only about 20 minutes away), although they were frequently late and only run one an hour, so don't miss the last one back home.

Czech RepublicThe free Wi-Fi isn’t great, but there is an option to pay for a better one. The bed was a two single beds together and rooms were quite noisy, sometimes you could hear other people if they were loud.
The hotel is newly renovated and well equipped. Staff is amazing and very friendly. Good location about 5 minutes to the beach, couple restaurants, shops and car rentals are close by. Airport is about 15 minutes by car and Kos Town is an easy 20 minutes bus ride. Food was excellent with a lot of options in every meal. Overall perfect value for money, we really enjoyed our stay and can only recommend.

United KingdomThe ‘juice’ at breakfast definitely isn’t juice! It tastes like very sweet squash. The rooms don’t have a safe and the bedroom doors don’t lock unless you slam it really hard. We went out the first evening we were there to find our bedroom door open, luckily with our valuables still inside. The poor area is nice but by 9:30am all the sun beds are reserved with towels for the day.
The property has been recently tastefully renovated and the rooms are comfortable and clean. The shower was amazing and very powerful. The staff are really friendly. Didn’t have any problems with the free Wi-Fi.

SloveniaThe food was low quality. We had only breakfast: the juices were artificial, fruit watery, greek yogurt with sugar, jams and marmalade artificial... Tried a toasted sandwich in the bar and was served toasted bread with fresh cheese and tomato inside... not heated up all together... many times in Greece and never experienced something like that. Very strong smell of sewage when started showering for cca 5 min minutes. Garbage bin only in bathroom. Not very good location.
Pleasant employees, nice rooms. Cleaning and changing towels every day. Good aircondition, ventilator on the ceiling. No bugs in the room, thanks to the net on the window.

GermanyThe rooms could have been a little cleaner. There were ants everywhere in our room even though we didn't bring any food or drinks in the room. They said the rooms were cleaned every day but we think they only changed the towels and they still had yellow stains on them every time. The entertainment at night was great but sometimes it was a bit too loud and too late at night especially when you have to take a bus early in the morning and your room is facing the bar.
The staff of the hotel was truly amazing. So friendly and welcoming right from the start. They helped wherever they could and had always time for you. The location of the hotel is good just 15 minutes to the beach and 3 minutes to the bus Stop. Renting a car or scooter was super easy there as well no troubles at all. At night there was always some kind of entertainment at the bar which was great as there were not many options around the hotel. The room was spacious and the bed was comfy. The breakfast in the morning was good. For dinner there were also a couple of options and to never have the same they had also specials like a Mexican night or a Greek night. We never stayed for lunch though. The All Included option was definitely worth it.
