How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Great location close to beach and restaurants. Lots of room, great deck. Great hosts. Could cook if we wanted. Clean and tidy.

There was nothing not to like
The location, the accommodation and the owners - we liked absolutely everything - we had two bedrooms, bathroom, kitchenette, two balconies (one with a line to hang washing) - the owners were awesome, so helpful and Mary cooked something special for us each day like a cake or similar just as a treat - really nice eating places just around the corner, also mini market and dive shop

The owners are very lovely- they were welcoming, helpful and baked us delicious treats. They represented the best of Greek hospitality. There were definitely fancier places nearby but we would go back to Sunday studios for the hospitality and the value for money. We also loved the location, walking distance to the beach, restaurants and bus stop (to head to the port).

The studio was in an ideal location, clean and run by an incredibly lovely family who left me baked treats in my room everyday. Very helpful and accommodating hosts. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.

Nothing, everything was perfect.
Beautiful stay! Hosts where delightful and incredibly helpful with all of our needs. The room was clean and spacious and had all you need. In such a great location with so many restaurants within walking distance! And a massive bonus we where left delicious pastries/ breads/ and sweets each day! Couldn’t recommend this place enough!! Thankyou Sunday studios for being the best in Naxos :)

Such a warm welcome like visiting family. Everything was very clean and cosy. Very good value for money. And a special extra that was a great surprise: every day the guests got something from host Eri’s kitchen. The bus stop is one minute away as well as the beach.

We were during off peak season where many surrounding stalls and amentities were closed, although it is no fault of the hotel
The hosts speak good English and are very friendly. Room was clean and served with a daily surprise of cakes and pastries Beach is less than 3 mins walk away Airport is less than 10 mins drive away

The mother and son are so lovely. Very welcoming and available whenever/ or if you need them. Delicious home baked products were left in my room every day! Accommodation is in a great location close to the beaches, cafes, restaurants, bus stop to Naxos town. Really quiet. I only had one night at Sunday studios and 2 nights in an adjacent accommodation as Sunday was full.

It was a little dated,
Good size accommodation with 2 single beds, kitchen with cooker, fridge, kettle, sandwich maker and more, bathroom and balcony. Our daughter even had her own double room with her own TV, Aircon and balcony as well. The owners and their staff were all very welcoming and genuinely lovely people. 1 minute walk to the beach local bars/restaurants. We had a great stay. Whilst the accommodation was a little dated, everything worked as it should and this did not affect our stay at all. I would certainly go back.

Everything and I mean EVERYTHING was amazing. Starting from the warm people I met at the check-in! We stayed 9 days, George explained very well the apartment functions and was really welcoming and helpful with every question we made! His beautiful mum everyday prepares some sweets or savory snack for you, not because included, just because she enjoy the work she does! Position was amazing, the sea in front of us, two supermarket and the area is the best! They provide for us a car, laundry service and have been accommodating for everything else! The room essential, very nice and super clean!!! Hot water, clean and fresh towels and sheets. I really recommend this place and this family to anyone! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for this experience, hope to see you very soon! Sara & Marco

The only downside was the teeny step in the kitchen leading to the 2nd balcony, we stubbed our toes so many times! Perhaps it could be made more obvious with a dark warning strip on the floor?
Very easy to get to from the ferry, by bus. Good location, quite quiet as it’s off the seafront but near also. New bathroom, beautifully clean, cheerful staff. They made us very welcome, we were even given freshly made cake every day! Very Greek still.

Beds can be better, they are a bit thin
The hosts are VERY kind and it is really cozy. Location is nice if you don’t want to go to town every day. Anyway, the bus stop to go to town is right on the corner and it takes 20mins to get to the town.

The shower could be better and more comfortable. It was a bit small and with a curtain.
The family running the place was wonderful. The room was comfortable and cute. The pool and garden were so nice.

The room was quiet and felt very Greek, as was the host who gifted us yummy homemade Greek cakes each day. Close to the beach, eateries and bus transport. An Arts area close by with live music and movies.
