Nothing. It is an excellent budget priced hotel.

The hotel is very clean with large rooms, a pool and a good buffet breakfast. The owner and staff were so kind and helpful. Beaches, bars and restaurants are a short stroll away. And tour buses pick up just up the road.

The hospitality of the owners was very much welcomed. The location is perfect and only 20 minutes by car to Heraklion. Very convenient location if you want to visit the east coast of Crete. The room for a family of 4 was spacious with a small refrigerator with free bottle of water.

This hotel was one of the most beautiful hotels I've been to! It's a very small hotel so it's not too noisy or crowded. Everything was clean and the interior was pretty as well. The room was equipped with shower gel, a hair dryer, a wardrobe, an iron and a refrigerator. But the most beautiful thing to mention is the staff! All of them were super friendly, heartily, kind and always there for you in case you needed something. A huge recommendation is the breakfast! It's not a typical buffet as you might think, no. You get served all kinds of freshly made food and it's _a lot_ and _extremely_ tasty! There was no better start in the morning! Also, in case you need a car or bike - you can easily rent it at the reception. They have a parking lot as well. So, to put it in a nutshell, it was a beautiful hotel and I hope I can come back in the future! Thanks for everything!

There was no set of drawers in the room and there was plenty of space for a set. The hotel is next to a main road and can be a little noisy at night if you are a light sleeper but it actually didn’t bother us after the first night we got used to it. Having said the above this did not affect our stay we still thought it was excellent.

The staff at the golden sunlight are exceptional and will do anything to make your stay the best. The rooms are very spacious we had 2 balconies and bathrooms large and everything is very clean. Breakfast also very good. Nice little pool as well. Wouks definitely recommend this hotel and stay again.

the location was a bit far from the beach and facilities but manageable, but the room we had was to close to the main road which was very noisy at night, asked to change rooms which was granted after three nights, what a big difference to road noise.

A bit noisy at the road when windows are open but when closed, well insulated. Air conditioning in every room, so you can keep windows closed.

Breakfast was rich. The stuff always smiling and willing to satisfy anything we asked for. The room was cleaned every day. The pool always clean. The rooms were quite comfortable with warm water. We couldn't have asked for anytihng more.

The staff has been great. It's a family owned hotel and they are just such a nice people. Breakfast in the morning freshly made and lots of variety. During the day free coffee and juices. The first night we had a room (which is very big) at the main road side and was quite noisy at night. We asked for a room on the other side and next day we got this which was much more quiet.

I don’t have any complaints.

Very well situated in Gouves, right in the middle between Heraklion (centre) and Hersonissos, with bus stops right outside the hotel so it’s easily accessible. The room we had was very nice with a big balcony, bed was very comfortable and everything was clean. Although the hotel is right beside a main road you cannot hear the cars and it’s quiet. The breakfast was very nice and freshly made. As the hotel is run by a family they do everything possible to help and facilitate you. They even let us stay past the Check out time as our flight was in the evening. I would highly recommend going here if you’re looking for an easy and relaxing holiday! :)

The staff was great, all of them very kind and helpful with any of our requests, even with some problem we had with the AC the first night, they came to our room at midnight and got it fixed. The room was very modern looking and the breakfast was amazing.

This is hands down the best place I've ever stayed and best value for money. The staff are like my new family, the most caring and lovely people who treat you like genuine family.
