Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

TurkeyThe room and the bathroom were unconfortable. The bathroom was very small and there was not a shower cabin at all! The room and the hotel are tottally different then the pictures of the hotel and the room at booking. The pictures betrayed me!!!
The breakfast was good like Turkish breakfast. The view of my room was nice which was looking at a little fishing port.

SwedenThere is nothing bad about this place. We've chosen the cheaper room, I think the bathroom was a little old but this is not a real problem. We were all very happy.
We loved this place. This is a family hotel so you can meet the whole family members of the owner, they are all lovely. It felt like our own place. The view and the breakfast was spectacular. The stuff is amazingly nice and helpful. We've been there with 1.5yrs old and everything was so easy and relaxed. The owner even cooked for our baby once! So appreciated. There is a beach close by that we've spent our most of the days. Super close to the restaurants and markets. You can rent a car easily and visit other beaches etc. We really miss this place very much.

Great welcoming, nice swimming pool across the road at the back, hotel can register the temperature. Cleaning the rooms and towel change.

CanadaThe pillows were too hard and deep. The wifi was not good in the rooms (non-existent). The bathroom shower stall is too small and the water ends up all over the floor because the drain is on the outside of he shower stall.
Yannis and Dimitris were excellent hosts. The location ws good and the breakfast were very good.

Perfect location in what must be one of the most chill villages in Samos. A great choice of beaches. Estrastadia and Full Moon were are favorites. Wonderful restaurants, friendly and relaxed vibe. Sunrise Hotel being the perfect starting point for our stay in Ireon. Great breakfast and hotel staff. A family hotel but still professional and efficient.
