Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe rooms need updating, there was quite a few ants in the room.
Sunshine Rhodes grounds are simply stunning, meticulously manicured to perfection. Lush greenery, . Whether you're lounging by the poolside, taking a leisurely walk along the beach, or enjoying a refreshing drink at the outdoor bar, the beauty of the surroundings never fails to impress. When it comes to dining, Sunshine Rhodes offers a typical all-inclusive experience, with a decent selection of dishes that cater to a variety of tastes. While the food may not be revolutionary, it certainly satisfies hunger pangs and provides a convenient option for guests looking to indulge without venturing far from their accommodations. Speaking of accommodations, the rooms at Sunshine Rhodes may be a tad dated, but they are comfortable and well-maintained, providing a cozy haven for a short stay. While they may not boast the latest in modern amenities, they offer all the essentials needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The entertainment team led by Billy do their best to get everyone involved without pestering you to get involved. Great activities that you can participate in if you so wish. Overall, my experience at Sunshine Rhodes was nothing short of fantastic. The well kept grounds, attentive maintenance, and cleanliness set the stage for a truly memorable stay. While the food was typical of an all-inclusive resort and the rooms were somewhat dated, these minor drawbacks were overshadowed by the overall quality of the experience. I would highly recommend Sunshine Rhodes to anyone seeking a relaxing getaway.

United KingdomCleaning schedule is really poor, towels change only 2x week and toilet leaks water everywhere after shower. The “room cleaning service” consists only on changing the bins and making the bed, no floors or dirt were touched making the environment very dirty if you’re staying over a week. Food was good but could have been better focusing on greek cuisine, also didn’t like the fact they take too long refill the container so you need to arrive early to get it fresh and hot. Alcohol served was not good quality, only beers and the Ouzo was ok.
Pool facilities are really good and spacious, beach front with amazing location. Nice variety of food.

GreeceRoom are very badly renovated. Maybe new furniture's but old mattresses. The bathroom was old style and the water drainage on the floor presented a terrible dirty view just almost in the center. The hotel is barely a three star hotel. The only good is their staff. All the others need to be fixed from scratch.
Staff were always polite and doing their best for the facilities they have available.

DenmarkIn short: Nice all inclusive hotel with good varied food, friendly staff and lots of activities. The hotel has fine pool areas and direct beach access. As with many ai hotels there is a lot of obese tourists fightning for sunbeds and white simple calories 😉 Improvement since last year: Better wifi and decaf nescafe. The room: We lived in a family room with twin beds and two couches for the kids which was suitable for four. There was enough room and housekeeping was fine. There's a small fridge. The food: There are two primary places to eat: The main restaurant where you eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner and a snack bar close to the pool area where you can get pizza, simple hotdogs, moussaka, salad, fruit, drinks, and ice cream. The breakfast buffet is large and fine. Both at lunch and dinner you can get a lot of great food - both good local and international dishes. There's also plenty of salads and vegetables which makes it easy to eat varied and healthy food. The staff: They are always nice, smiling and accommodating, which impresses me, since they are working hard under the hot sun servicing and tidying after tourists that are not always well behaved. Keep up the good work! The activities: The animation team is doing a great job with kids' club, mini disco, shows, dart games, water polo, beach volley, aqua gym, morning yoga etc. Beach and pool area: Close to a beach with small stones and the most stunning sunsets. Loads of sunbeds. There are three pool areas with different levels of activities. The clientele: Mixed European families. As with many all inclusive hotels there is a lot of people racing for sunbeds in the morning and obese tourists that have no or at least different ideas of queueing culture. To a modest Scandinavian it can seem quite outrageous and offensive how some fellow tourists fill up their dishes once they reach the end of the line - and leave lots of uneaten food once they are full.

United KingdomMy only criticism of the hotel is that they really need to manage sun beds. Its a busy hotel with lots of rooms but a limited number of sun beds. We arrived down at 8am for breakfast and there wasn’t one sun bed without a towel on it…. More annoying is that most of the morons didn’t arrive at the pool until after lunch. Its unrealistic to expect that humans will always be civil so the hotel need to do something on this front.
Fantastic location and the facilities are great value for money…. There’s a good selection of food and the drink quality is better than that of competing European countries. Its good value for money. It’s not fine dining but for a cheap getaway or family break it’s a winner. You could literally throw a stone from the swimming pool into the see. AWESOME. weather was fantastic every day.

United KingdomThe dinning hall was ridiculously warm. Maybe ceiling fans would have helped. The soft drinks tasted a bit watered down or just really cheap/poor quality and the orange/apple juice were not cold. An ice machine would a good addition. Staff should Stop guests hogging sun beds from early morning until the afternoon when they aren’t even using them.
It is a pleasant hotel in a good area. Nice facilities for kids and the beach is on the doorstep. However I wouldn’t say it was 4 star, and the room was very basic. It had one chair a bed a desk and a mini fridge. A few hooks or a clothes rack would have been great to dry swimming gear and towels. The room was a good size for 3 of us. Pool was clean and a good size (all of them) Evening meal had a large choice for meat eaters and veggies. Supermarket on site was good and friendly staff.

United KingdomThe only negative comment we would make regarding this hotel was the insufficient clear labelling of the food offered on the buffet. As vegetarians, it was not always clear what was suitable for us and this was simply down to a lack of labelling. On asking staff each day we were able to sort things out but we feel this should not be necessary. A simple "V" would be helpful.
The room was a great size, cleaned every day with regular towel changes. The sea view was very nice and the possition of the resort right on the beach made this a fab place to stay. The staff on all bars and restaurants were superb as was the entertainments team that made a real effort every day to have a fun and varied program available. We feel their attention to detail really made our trip perfect.
