The only minus is about the bathroom that needs a refresh. The toilet seat was old and the bowl had some cracks. Even so, everything was clean and that is the most important part. Since everything else was perfect, I will not deduct a point for this and give this acommodation a solid 10

Starting with the host who helped us a lot with everything we need, the rooms here beautiful, recently renovated and equiped with everything you need. The cleanliness was spotless. Clean towels refreshed almost daily, trash can emptied, tidy up the beds. It has it's own parking right in front of the studio.

Nothing nothing nothing

WOW!!! I arrived to Crete super early in the morning off a ferry & was looking for a place to stay in Malia. That's when I read the reviews for Nikos and the Sunshine studios & apartments & they couldn't be more correct.. Niko's is an absolutely wonderful host, accommodated me at very very short notice. The room was clean, airy & looked very recently renovated. The location is perfect as it's close to everything but not too close as for it to be loud at nighttime. & the beds.. OMG !! When I get home I need a new bed, that's how comfortable these beds were.. I have nothing but positive things for Nikos & the staff of Sunshine studios & apartments, if your thinking of coming to Malia, this place is perfect & I can't recommend it enough!!!

I would have liked the Wifi to be stronger/faster.

Usually I would have rated the place 9 (nicely located, clean and comfortable), but with Nikos this turns into a 10, thanks to his kindness, his great advices on restaurants & bars you should visit (or those to avoid), and the fact that he is always there if you need anything. The swimming pool (next door) is a nice addition of course! Thanks again, cheers!

Nikos was very friendly and helpful, we felt very welcome from the beginning of our stay to the end. Location good for central Malia whilst still relatively quiet (off the main strip). Good pool, comfy spacious room with good air conditioning. Small but nice balcony. Ideally located for supermarkets, restaurants, and not far from bus stop if coming from/going to Heraklion or other main destinations on the island. 10/10!

the location is perfect and the host Nikos is very helpful. We forgot to ask for baby bed before coming but they were prepared and they offered us a bed and a baby high chair. plenty of restaurants around the property still it’s very calm during the night. we had access to the pool which was very good. the rooms are big and the bed is very comfortable.

The owner Nikos is always there for you if you need any assistance. He was very very helpful and gave us lots of tips and information on the places to visit in crete and nearby.. The rooms are very clean, tidy and newly renovated, The location is close to some very good restaurants in Malia and a very good and friendly pizza pitstop takeaway just 1 minute walk away. Great location within walking distance of the main Malia strip and local bars. Thank you Nikos for making our stay a memorable one!!!! 😊 Dave and Gail
