Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesHow amazing place to stay! Modern suits, nice views and very tasty food. We had a car rented, so it was easy to get to the different beaches. The best customer service I have ever had! Every worker is ready to help. We had a tire problem and one of the handyman helped to change it. I appreciate it! Stelios will make you an amazing drinks and will give an advice how to get to the amazing places on the island and treat you as a special. He also helped to find the place to do the COVID-19 test. Great job! I would be very happy to come back, but before my trip I will make sure Stelios is still there 😄

United KingdomWe had all included package But bottled water wasn’t available, and as we lived in separate villa , we had to use glasses of water in the bar located three levels up the hill. Its a lovely place, but with +29 degrees outside it was hard to go and get water for whole family ( 5 members of family) and bottled water in the shop inside the hotel is priced x3 more than in the shop on the beach. No sun free space for children to play or swim. No other children activities in the hotel. Not europian standarts manicure. They don’t take gel off , and only shellac is available. Villas pools are 1.50cm depth and no ability for non swimmers to join the water fun. Small choice of vegetarian food. In Cretan Villa in the bath room shower glass good is cracked, my child cut his toe while in the shower. We had a long holiday and children, so we assumed we could wash our clothes. You can give you clothes to wash to the cleaning team, but they charge €6 euros per item to wash . So we had to wash with hands ( 3 children in the villa)
We liked the place and members of staff. Especially Stelios and Regina were very helpful, with good speaking English Spa facilities and dimitry massage was lovely They have free transport to the beach and back, although the last one is at 5.30pm. Which is sad, as with children i prefer to go to the beach after 4 and return to the hotel between 7 and 9. Alcohol is served after 5 in the bar, good quality alcohol and cocktails. Snacks are always available in the bar too, not a big choice tho. I would want fruits in between main meals. Beds and umbrellas are available for free. Two small swimming pools for children . Depth 0.50cm Tennis and basketball is available to play any time . Gym has few cardio machines and not so many strength machines. Ganbells. Table hockey and pin pong in the play room. ( you have to pay for table hockey €1 each play) They state in they have hiking available- but it isn’t true as all hiking trails are on private land now and they all are closed, we tried about 3 different once

United KingdomWe booked for 3 adults and 3 children. We had to travel to the Fillion resort and spa for all meals and the bar. Including check in and check out. However this turned out to be a fantastic combination. We had the luxury of our room in the t hotel but with the remainder being taken at the Fillion. All question we asked had an immediate adequate response. Even the manager (2nd photo)is a lovely man and has built a team of staff (3rd photo) around him that has made a good hotel into a brilliant experience for couples and families alike. If you asked me if any of our party would go again the answer would have to be YES ! YES ! YES !

GreeceBathrooms were dirty with dead bugs squashed on the walls and either blood or faeces smeared on the other bathroom wall. Beds not fully made. Half a bottle of water in fridge from previous guests. No control of a loud and boisterous delegation of what appeared to be around 24 students, shouting and banging doors until 2am.
Beautiful hotel suite Ample choice of well cooked food.

SlovakiaWeb were let down by the cleanliness standards, excessive noise levels from hotels restaurant and unfortunate architectural solution that contributed to it, limited kitchenette equipment, and average food quality. Unfortunately, these factors made our stay less enjoyable, especially with a todler.

Lithuania- soundproofing - quality of cleaning - taste of drinks - indifferent staff - lack of a normal transfer to the sea and its own beach
We were disappointed with this hotel, I don’t understand why there are so many good rewiews here. The hotel doesn't have its own beach (you can only use free sunbeds on a beach "Plage de bali" (it's in the town, 30-40 minutes on foot), but in our opinion it was cramped, crowded and unpleasant, some sun loungers literally stood in the water due to cramped conditions (photos). So, it’s much better to go to another public beach and pay for umbrellas and sunbeds yourself, as we did. In addition, the hotel does not provide a shuttle to this beach. There is a minibus, but it belongs to a partner hotel Filion. If there are more people willing to go than there are seats on this minibus, then you won’t fit and you will be forced to walk on foot or wait for the next one for an hour or more (these minibuses ran without a clear schedule - it should be every hour, but sometimes it's not). The hotel staff seem polite, but they are indifferent. When we arrived, no one explained the rules to us, they just gave us a printout with meal times and that’s it. They didn’t show us where everything was, didn’t explain that they had self-service (you pour wine and other drinks from the taps yourself), we found out everything ourselves by trial and error. They forgot to give us bracelets. The room looks good, it has everything you need - an iron, hair dryer, shower gels. The pool in the room was useless in October (too cold), but perhaps in the summer this is an advantage. The walls in the hotel are very thin, if someone in a hotel flushes the toilet, everyone hears it. Hotel by itself is in the middle of nowhere in the mountains, so there's a lot of animal noise at night. When we moved in, the floor of our apartment was obviously dirty with somebody’s hair, TV didn’t work. One time there were no electricity and water temperature in shower was not stable. The food was not bad, even good, but drinks were cheap and not tasty.

United KingdomUnfortunately the quality of the food has gone down dramatically since 2021. It is now just an average 2-3 star all inclusive buffet. Same slop each day etc. This hotel used to provide a premium grade buffet which was very hard to rival at this price point. This however is no more. The villa was very dirty and lack luster. My daughter actually cried with disappointment on arrival but we all agreed to make the most of it.... Very similar to a caravan feel with cheap furniture and taped electrics etc, not to mention over 8 hairs in the bed.
Staff are amazing. Second to none and truly make this hotel special. Stelios in particular is outstanding in every way.

FinlandVery much traditional Creek food, which was a problem for kids. Therefore I see this more like adults destination than family resort. For kids french fries and pasta would be easy to add.
Food overall was fine and service good. The pool access was really nice. The location was really remote, which is good for relaxing, but in longer run some activities would be nice.

FinlandThe food quality did not match the requirements for Nordic traveler. None of the foods had labels of what they are and the selection in general was almost the same every day. Regarding the food in our opinion is that the meat and other were on the low end ingredients and also often cold. You would have to go to eat as soon as the lunch & dinner started, if you wanted to have some food, as they did not often restack the food. One other issue that we faced was the lack of promised snacks mentioned in the All inclusive information on the Hotel information. Lunch was served from 13 to 14:30 and Dinner at 19:00 so the gap was quite long, and normally you would have some sandwiches and maybe gyros etc as a snack for the intermediate times, but in here they only served 2 different local dry cakes and nothing else. Kids were often hungry during the between time and several times we needed to go Bali center to eat, which was additional expense to already paid all inclusive. There was not much to do at the hotel for the kids. Basically only swimming and laying in the sun. No other activities. Also Bali was quite quiet town and that one did not have much activities either. We had a 7 day prepaid reservation, but at the and we left the hotel after 4 days and went to a proper All inclusive resort, and paid extra there for the 3 days of the trip. Also one of the reasons we ended up choosing this hotel was the high praises of the hotel staff and we did not encounter that during our stay. Rarely staff greeted us when we entered the hotel lobby & restaurant and the manager was not even often present at the reception during the day.
The hotel room was very spacious and it was nice that both rooms had separate shower and toilet. Also the own terrace with pool access was very nice. The Bali area was very quiet and the scenery was very nice looking. We were able to go to the "partner hotel" Filion to use the pool, but I understood that only because it was low season and the hotel had space. I don´t know if it is possible in the high season anymore?

United Kingdomunfortunately on this occasion having returned to the room at around 11 pm we hadn’t realised the toilet was continually filling which resulted in a poor nights sleep. I am sure if it had been earlier in the day it would have been fixed immediately

United KingdomWe arrived at the property and were greeted by the friendly receptionist. Spent the day at the pool which was nice but does look a lot better in the photos. We went to our room and there was a terrible smell coming from the drains and the room was very damp. There were no other rooms available so was offered a room at the sister hotel Filion but the hotel is very old and up a very steep hill so wasn’t suitable as we had planned to spend evenings down in Bali. We were offered a refund by the Filion reception and told it was ok for us to find an alternative hotel and they apologised and said we’d have a full refund. We spent £500 on an alternative hotel and four days later hadn’t heard about our refund. I contacted the hotel and they told me there was a problem with the system and they would try again. I chased again the next day and was told we wouldn’t be getting a refund. We then visited the hotel to try resolve and the head of the reception told us it was her fault and she was sorry but her ‘boss’ wouldn’t let her refund us the money. she then started to say she thought we turned down the alternative room because we couldn’t afford to stay at the Filion and pay for food etc! We were so disappointed as the refund was offered and now we’re £470 out of pocket. It really did ruin the end of our holiday which is such a shame as we planned our whole 10 day trip around the availability of this hotel because it looked so nice and the reviews were so good.
The pool was nice and big and had a friendly receptionist

UkraineUnfortunately the hotel has not met our expectations. The photos are so much better. Actually the hotel is not in the best condition, although it is quite young. The cleanliness of the room also needs to be better. The towels were changed only after our request. There was no hairdryer in the room. We were also asked to pay three euros for a bottle of just water. Although water is usually always available in the rooms for free. It's very strange.
The place is very quiet and cozy among the mountains. The girls at the reception were very welcoming. The food is good and varied. There is a parking for cars.

DenmarkIf anything, would like more variation in Food - but after reading other comments i need to say it seems that they have improved already! Espacially pasta was popular to both kids and adults here.
Nice, big and equipted rooms, possible to do late checkout and use facilities until depature. Plenty of sunbeds. Nice view with mountains on one side and ocean on the other. Parking space. Small hotel, so wont be crowded at pool or restaurant. Really liked the breakfast selection. Fresh Cut fruit with every meal. Very friendly staff, always present and go beyond whats expected to make your stay perfect. Examples; listening to wishes for dinner, ready with the next drink without asking, teaching kids to mix their own fruitpunch at the bar. Even heard the manager paid so much attention to guests, that he without asked was ready at the beach to Pick them up after a tour (a bit of a long walk from the beach to the hotel). Even joined us for a few games of card when job allowed it. Need to give this hotel and especially hotelmanager Stelios a huge Thanks for Making our first trip to crete unforgettable and full of good memories. My highest recommandation, hope to be back someday!

ItalyIf I have to find something, the self service coffee machine was so bad! Please replace it with either another professional one or someone making coffee without paying extra money for it
Awesome apartments, super clean and spacious. Swimming pool was also nice, there were a lot of pool deck chairs very comfortable! Food is overall good: there were always a great variety of fresh vegetables and fruits, cooked vegetables and some average meat/fish main dishes. Desserts were also nice. There was also pasta but I've never tried it, sorry but I'm Italian :) Location is nice, even if 30 minutes by walk from Bali center. There is a bus service from the hotel that runs during daily hours but I would anyway consider a car for stays longer than a weekend. Staff is very friendly! Best value for money
