Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PolandAll was really good. We had great weekend and really managed to relax. The only thing I would reconsider are the prices at the restaurant and the bar - pretty high in my view. We were off season so there were only a few choices in the village near by but in season I am sure there are more places to chopse from
Amazing hotel. Very spacious room (junior suite) with everything you need. Great pool and great beach. All very clean and well maintained. Staff is very nice and helpful. Breakfast has a great options and is prepared with good quality ingredients.

IsraelHotel is not very accessible with a baby stroller. Even the children's club is down a flight of stairs. Some of the kids activities were outdoors in the sun, which was a terrible idea in August heat. Restaurant is rather expansive and does not offer authentic Greek food. We travelled to town (5 minutes by car) and ordered take-away from a local Taverna which was great. Cocktails and drinks are really expensive!
The service in the hotel is great. Staff is friendly. Room was large and fitted all of us (2 adults, 1 child, 1 baby) easily. Rooms are clean and quiet. The hotels facilities are great. The beach is incredible and the pool is nice.

Our 2nd stay in Thalatta and again did not disappoint. Rooms very clean and comfortable and the pool just amazing. Breakfast very nice and staff are very friendly and approachable especially the girls at reception and Marina the lifeguard. We were leaving early to catch a very and we would miss breakfast but when the girls at reception realized, they organized for our breakfast to be packed and ready for us to take with us. Thank you so much, definitely recommend staying here.

GreeceThe menu at the hotel has to be updated also the breakfast if someone stays more than three days is getting bored with the same dishes every day The time we stayed a group of tourists from Israel were behaving as they were the only visitors and were loud all the time during the night between 10 and 12 o clock also at the pool the hotel has to take measures with such a behaviour
Always a nice hotel to visit nice location and good activities for the children

United StatesIf you are traveling from Athens or another far away place, consider hiring a car and a driver. The mountain roads are windy and narrow, and we were very glad we did not rent a car to drive ourselves. Note that the nearest local tavernas are on Agia Anna beach, about 20-30 minutes walk from the hotel. We did not have a car and it was a hot walk in the sun. But we like to visit local restaurants so made the trip. If you are happy to relax at the resort and eat there, the food is exceptional.
The property is beautiful with a large, clean pool with many lounges and umbrellas, as well as a private beach equipped with chairs and umbrellas. The staff was exceptional -- friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The breakfast (and all of the food we ate there) was delicious. We booked a family suite with garden view and with two bathrooms, two bedrooms and a living room, it was perfect for our family of four. We went horseback riding on a ranch across the street from the property, which was really fun. If you are looking for a relaxing resort, this is the place for you! We highly recommend staying here.

IsraelThe only thing we didn't love was the food at the restaurant for lunch/dinner, value-for-money wise. The food was ok but not amazing, yet very expensive.
The room is big and cozy with a perfect sleeping solutions for young kids. Everything is super clean and well thought of, the staff is kind and lovely, the food at breakfast is fantastic.

United KingdomReally nice modern build with great attention to views and privacy from balconies. Room was exceptional. Swimming pool for the kids, and seafront for adults. Ample shaded parking. All very nice and looked after with attention to detail clearly in mind. Would go back to see how the place matures. Very pleasant stay.

United KingdomYes, the location is a little bare around (it's not like the Cyclades where it's a picture perfect postcard) and you can still see evidence of the fires on the hillscape behind the hotel, but we chose a sea-facing room so we didn't see that much. People do mention the price of the restaurant and portion sizes. We ate lunch by the beach and dinner in the restaurant every day, and the prices are more in-line with what you would pay in London (for example), so it does add up if you're solely eating there. We were very happy with the portion sizes (they're completely fine - if you're expecting giant American sizes this is not it) and the meals were outstanding. Everything we ate was world-class.
Such an amazing experience at Thalatta. If you're looking for a place you can stop, drop, and do nothing for a few days to a week, this is perfect. We didn't need to leave the hotel at all - the rooms, pool, beach, everything, was better than expected. The staff are so helpful and friendly, they really made our stay there 10/10. I booked in for a massage in the spa which was exceptional, and the gym facilities are small but very new and modern. You can even book the gym out completely so you have the entire space to yourself. We don't have kids yet but there were many children there kept entertained at the kids club. When we do have children, I would 100% come back to Thalatta as I know they'll have a fun experience too! The breakfast is also outstanding. It was included in our room fee and honestly was one of the best breakfasts I've had on a European holiday. So much choice!

BelgiumNot much to do in the hotel. Only 1 restaurant open and not 3 as per their website, open cinema only for kids, so it soon gets boring and you need to explore the nearby village which is a bit “neglected”.
Staff is polite, rooms are spacious and very clean and the breakfast is excellent.

BelgiumThe only minor thing we regret is that our balcony was close to a main airco ventilation unit (I believe of the restaurant), and this was generating some noise. But that was nothing compared to all the good things.
Very nice hotel: beautiful architecture, great view, super clean, friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast, great service, large rooms and balcony (junior suite) beautiful pool and beach... Good value for money.

We’re just back from another wonderful stay in Thalatta - we first visited last year. All of the staff are absolutely wonderful and nothing is too much trouble, they make your stay something to remember. They are taking food allergies very seriously, which we really appreciated, and the breakfast is also amazing! A special mention is deserved for the brilliant kids club, which is absolutely loved by our daughter, the girls that run it think of so many clever ideas to keep the young ones entertained. Every time we have to leave it’s the most difficult part of saying goodbye. The hotel has everything you need to feel right at home. We’ve found nothing comparable to this and we are looking to book again for next year!
