Pool area could do with sprucing up and better sunbeds

Just 2 nights

It is very clean, comfortable and well decorated hotel. Even the price was absoluty reasonable. Honestly it was so cheap with booking.com. genius. There is something that makes this hotel very special. It is a beautiful lady in white in a breakfast room. Maybe she is a owner of the hotel (not sure). She serves every guest by herself in the morning with smile and kindness. Every staff is absolutely kind and nice. If I come to Creta again, I will definitely here.. Thanks for the team of Thalia deco hotel!

The bathroom was a bit smelly and the gym needs some more modern equipment. But these are minor suggestions.

The hotel is very central located and the staff goes every extra mile to fullfill clients needs. Easy shopping possibilities and lesure offers in close access.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t dislike tbf.

We were there for a delayed honeymoon and was given an upgrade to a larger room,the location is good and very close to the beach, bars and shops. The staff were very helpful and made us feel very welcome. There was always someone on reception and the breakfast had a good choice and again very helpful staff. On a few evenings we finished with a dink at the bar and the barman was really friendly and looked after us.

I can not say anything bad about this place, the only problem was that the time was flying here so fast and we felt like we had to come home too early. Everything was perfect, hope we will have the possibility to come back soon.

The hotel is guided by a nice family, all the staff members are very kind and helpful. The hotel is just 50 metres from the sea, from the entrance and during breakfast you can see the seaside. The wifi and air condition works good and the rooms are very clean. The breakfast is at the hotel and it contains various choices. The dinner, which is at an other 4* hotel very close, is truly tasty and amazing. The hotel is family-friendly, as I saw all the children had fun there, especially because of the cool swimming-pool. There is an elevator at the hotel so I recommend it to older people also.

There was a smell from the drainage system in our bathroom.

Great location 2min walk from the beach, very close to stores, restaurants and bus stop. Excellent staff, very polite, ready to help. Breakfast could be improved.

The location is very good, a few minutes to the beach, restaurants. Next to the hotel shop. Although the hotel is near the street, but there is no noise. The staff was great😊 The breakfast was very good.

Maybe one thing. There was not any soundproof of the room door and sometimes there was a noise from corridor made by guests. But this is also a problem of inconsiderate and noise guests, who don’t know how to behave in hotel and scream and slam the doors.

All was fain. This is a nice family hotel which I would recommend to my friends surely. Every time smiling and very communicative and helpful staff. We asked in advance for a room with sea view. They sent us an information, that only one room with partial sea view is available, but this room is situated to main street and can be a bit noisier. They offered by themselves, that we can try one night, and if we don’t like it, we can change it for another one, if available. We used this possibility later after two nights, because another room of the same size become available. Honestly, the noise in original room was not so terrible, because we slept with air conditioning and therefor with closed windows. But the second room was better 😊 Breakfast was a pleasant surprise. We expected a continental breakfast, but in hotel was a very good buffet breakfast. Dinners were also delicious and were provided by nearby hotel 50 m over the street. Parking was possible on the main street front of the hotel with no charge. We were lucky, that every day we found a parking place within 50 m far from the hotel and immediately after arriving. But I believe sometimes it can take more time to find some place, especially in the early evening and also if you have bigger car. Both rooms were nice and clean.

Cleanliness, staff and service, room comfort Anthie was very helpful, gave us good advice on beaches and restaurants and even provided us with extra mattress toppers because of my partner's back pain. As our flight was late in the evening, we used the common room to leave our luggage and have a shower after we checked out which was very helpful. Good breakfast. Nice beach nearby, only 10 min walk to Meltemi Beach. Definitely recommend it.

Nothing, everything was great.

This hotel is a gem! Its ideal location near the beach and away from noisy nightclubs ensures a peaceful stay. The cleanliness and comfort are impressive, especially the cozy beds. The staff's friendliness and helpfulness add to the wonderful experience, providing valuable recommendations for local attractions. The common space with a shower is a thoughtful addition, allowing guests to enjoy the beach even after checkout. Breakfast is a delight, in addition to traditional breakfast we tried homemade dips, bread, and delicious honey. Additionally, the nearby hotel offers a fantastic dinner selection it half board is chosen, including salads, meats, vegetables, grilled dishes, a fruits, and desserts. Furthermore, nearby the hotel is free parking space, making it hassle-free for guests with vehicles. This added perk ensures that guests can explore the beautiful surroundings and nearby attractions.

This is first time when I cant find anythink what we did not like.

This is a family hotel. We were traveling in Crete and changing hotels every few days. Always were staying in 3* hotels with >9 booking rates. But this hotel is exeptional. The hotel in reality is much nicer when in pictures. They have so many deco elements! The staff was so nice, so polite and helping. The room was beautiful, absolutely clean, comfortable, with perfect AirCond. Towels, bedcovers white and super clean- this is extreamly important gor us as we are traveling with children. Beds - super comfy. Breakfast - best we had in Crete. You can choose - eggs, sausigies, vegies, cheese, yogurt, jams, bred, fruites, juice, amaizing coffee and ... carat!!! If you did not find carat- ask for the help and try it, so diliciuos! Also we left very early in the morning, so thay prepared a breakfast to take away. Perfect service. Much much recommended!

The bed was a bit hard The room is quite small The shower in the first room and the toilet in the second. I had a room with two beds, when you entered the hall there was a single bed, a shower and a refrigerator, and in the next room there was a double bed with a bathroom. Quite strange, but maybe that's how it is in the area. In the evening when you leave the balcony door open, quite a lot of noise outside, it was close to the main road. The schedule at the pool was very strange, you could only stay until 17:00

The staff was top 10; You had a pool in the back, not very big; The breakfast is quite varied, but it is repeated daily; Air conditioning in the room, included in the room price, was not paid for separately, as I have heard in other places

It's not easy to say anything negative, because everyone was really kind. But I can't get over the fact that the wifi didn't work properly (it was slow and regularly disconnected), so we ended up using mobile internet. The room cleaning was good but not perfect. Street noise was high if the window was left open. But after closing it (and using air conditioning) there is no noise. Overall we enjoyed our staying, the value for money is very good and would come back again.

The staff were extremely friendly and did everything to make us feel comfortable. They are helpful, kind and look after their guests. The room is spacious, comfortable and adequately equipped. Dinner is plentiful, delicious and varied. Breakfast is also plentiful but a little bit repetitive. Location is great. Shops are very close. Parking is possible on the street or in the area behind the building.

We liked everything! It was one of our best holidays. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We booked a studio room but they offered a room with two bedrooms for our comfortable stay. The owner inspired my daughter to learn many languages like her. The food was pleasant.
