There’s not much to say here. The Bold Type has a great offering. If they want to take things to the next level, the cocktails we tired were ‘nice’ but could be better, the food was all excellent and presented very well but the chocolate desert was below expectations after a great starter and main. The meat on the mains was ‘well cooked’ which was fine for us but may have been considered overdone for some tastes.

A beautifully presented and decorated old mansion house, exceptional cleanliness - of key importance with COVID still prevalent. We stayed one night and were very impressed with the standard of our room and the other facilities. The staff were all very polite and professional. The garden and outdoor dining area resembles an oasis providing an escape from a busy city. We had a three course dinner and were very pleased with the food which had a hint of something special for a fair price. We understood the Bold Type is only recently transformed to a hotel - we wish them every success and thanks for a great stay.

Based in a neo-classical building in the centre of Patra, this hotel is a gem. It offers exceptional architecture, room design and comfort. The staff welcomed us warmly and took care of all our needs. We had a perfect breakfast in one of the loveliest hotel gardens. In the evening you can enjoy a drink in this lovely atmosphere.

We had an absolutely fantastic time during our stay at the Bold Type Hotel. The facilities are wonderful, the staff very polite and our room was dreamy. We were also surprised with a room upgrade! Very comfy bed, state-of-the-art design and a shower big enough to sleep in. The restaurant in the premises is incredible, great dishes served and beautiful space to sit, relax and enjoy your dinner. We would totally recommend this hotel and surely will prefer it over any other hotel the next time we stay in Patra. Thank you so much for everything!

Had a room on 2F in the front that faced the street and was noisy. 4F could be a very cosy area to grab a drink but didn’t feel set up for that.

Freshly renovated, extremely well done and terrific design. Fabulous outdoor terrace and cute 4F roof area. Beautiful building. Great service!

The restored mansion was beautiful! Huge ceilings, excellent linens, best bathroom in Greece! Close to a vibrant downtown! We were so happy to support a project that completed a beautiful restoration!

Everything amazing! The staff, the room, the garden, the building, the welcome drink: all great! We had an "aperitivo" in the garden and ended up staying for dinner: the best dinner we had in Greece! Breakfast? Even if you are not sleeping there, please go to The Bold Type just for breakfast: it's really an incredible experience! The à la carte service in the luscious garden is wonderful and the food: OMG!!! It should be starred by Michelin... Thank you The Bold Type!

Little bit loud, church bells and traffic.

Great stuff, literature everybody! Kind and helpful. Special thanks for Mary. Room is something new, in best possible way, for us. Touch screen for AC, calling reception,...; big TV, fantastic bathroom,... Also don't miss food in restaurant. They really give a different way to enjoying the meals. We had breakfast included but we deliberately had dinner as well. Bravo to Chef and his personal!

No sound proofing at all. The room on the reception level are noisy : you can hear all the discussions in the hall and from the reception clerks. Very unopleasant
