Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

South AfricaThe empty buildings around the hotel. Lack of signs to the hotel and name on the hotel. We did not know Agia Marina Port is not working all the time.
Wonderful friendly host, value for money and close to the beautiful little beach town. Very clean and spacious, good breakfast in her beautiful garden. Aggelici even served greek yoghurt and coffee before 7 in the morning to us on our last morning, we had to catch an early bus back to Aegena. Thank you Aggelici we had a wonderful 4 days in Delfini Hotel!

Excellent breakfast, a wide range of choice, serviced by a very kind and friendly hostess. A nice location, just at the outside of the port, nice and quiet but close enough to everything. The rooms themselves were nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable.

AustraliaNot the problem of Hotel but the ferry stopped running to Harbour near hotel in September (end of summer season) unknown to us so it was a 30 min drive to the hotel from the port. GPS directions to hotel are misleading and take you to back of property. Hotel signage at front entrance easy to miss. Also not the fault of the hotel but the surrounding area has many empty shops/properties which was sad to see.
Angelika went above and beyond to make her guests comfortable. Made us feel like we were staying at a friend’s place. Complimentary breakfast of boiled eggs, fruit, cake and bread, yogurt was served in the garden. The balcony was good for seeing sunrise. Bed was comfortable. Short walk to beautiful Agios Marinos beach.

IsraelThere is a wild mosquito season so bring something with you because it's impossible to sit out, but it's beyond hotel/human control.

UkraineThis place feels home. The host Angeliki is very friendly, caring and full of attention to every guest. Clean, quiet place in a very natural pocket of the town. Besides, I got very warmly congratulated with my birthday:))) having stayed at the facility for 10 days by myself, couldn't recommend a better place for calming down.

South AfricaNothing.
The hotel is very well situated in Agia Marina, just off the main road through the town. The only “issue” (which is really nitpicking) is that Google Maps takes you round the back of the hotel, while the actual entrance is Leoforos Aphaia (Aphaia Avenue).

We came to Aegina Island for about 3 days, approximately. We liked the nature, the views, and the cats all around! The host makes a great morning breakfast, and all services were close by. The room was comfortable and we had all the necessary for our stay. We will surely be back.

GermanyCan hardly think of something you could blame the proprietor for...well, deafening cicada noise after 9 am and derelict buildings around are things that go with a Greek holiday. No, nothing to improve without spoiling this little hotel's charming atmosphere!
Very friendly welcome! Propietor made you feel at home immediately. Cozy atmosphere, small building very well kept. Breakfast really good, served with a smile. Very quietly located but downtown after a few footsteps. Down to the beach a five minutes' walk. Great! Easy communication, very friendly and no guesswork - English spoken (and a little German, too!)

United StatesI loved being in the pine trees just a short walk from the marina. The patio was a great place to meet other travelers and also enjoy the quite back street. I was able to rent a scooter just down the street and had an incredible tour of the island and the ‘Sanctuary of Aphaia’. I had a lovely time.
