We really enjoyed staying in this hote; The location is amazing, the hotel is in the heart of the city center. The mostt impressive part was the staff - and espessialy chris who recieved has with a warm welcome, guide us for our stay and smile. Overall amazing stay. Recommended.

Warm welcome, helpful and friendly staff, open-air restaurant, rich breakfast. Since the opening of the hotel, a stray dog ​​named Pepper has been living in front of the hotel. The animal-friendly approach is very nice.

Hotel facilities were of course sufficient. What was different was the high energy and spirit of the hotel represented by the employees. It was no longer a hotel but our home. We would like to thank each and every one of them with love and sincerity.

The room size was good although for the price it aims for a more 'luxury' stay and so I would have expected to have a few more toiletries available and a bit more space to put things in the bathroom.

The staff made us feel very welcomed from the first moment and were super helpful along our stay. The breakfast is superb and the location is excellent. The room was facing to the street so some noise was expected. I also liked how there was a kiosk right outside so very easy to get anything conveniently.

Perfect location, clean, modern and cozy rooms with special place for our dog, big parking near the hotel, homemade breakfast, but the greatest achievement of Modernist hotel is the staff: kind, friendly and useful.

Our stay was by far a great experience. The style of the hotel, the attention to details, the location, staff, room, breakfast at the roof, everything was perfect and exceeded our expectations. They even had cocktails in the minibar from The Clumsies, one of the best bars in the world. They helped with everything, luggages, parking, etc.

Everything about the hotel was wonderful and exceeded our expectations. The design is stylish and very comfortable, and a lot of thought has gone into all the little details. The toiletries smelled fantastic and we loved the curated playlist! The staff were great, giving many helpful recommendations and also the ladies at breakfast were brilliant and so kind (and breakfast very tasty with omelettes freshly cooked to order and a great buffet!). I was impressed that even though it is in a busy area the soundproofing of the room is excellent with no street noise and we slept very very soundly.

The location - perfect. In the very center of the city. Wonderful stuff, helpful, intelligent, friendly. The breakfast, which is included in the price is excellent, abundant, delicious, tasty, you can have a meal especially cooked for you. The staff is all smiles and courtliness.

The staff is very kind and makes definitively part of the great time spent there. We can rely on them to guide you for best advices to visit the city, place to eat, they are very active to help for restaurant reservation and so. They are very kind with children and offer some inventive welcoming gifts. The morning breakfast is in upper level on sunny place with chief preparing eggs on demand. Breakfast is very good. Rooms are really quiet and confortable. As it is a renovated old building each view from are particular depending on the rooms.

What a lovely place to stay! We loved our time at The Modernist. For us, the best part was the staff. They were so friendly and kind, and helped us out with everything from calling restaurants to recommending a great place to get bougatsa. You felt like you were coming home every time you walked in the door. The room was lovely, the shower was divine, and the breakfast was wonderful. A perfect stay!

Nothing can be mentioned as negative

The location is excellent, few minutes away from Aristotelous square. It is surrounded by restaurants, cafeterias, bistro, markets, churches, shops and many more! The staff was always polite, friendly and ready to help! Totally recommended.
