A lovely room overlooking olive trees and mountains, easy car parking, and a wonderful homemade Greek breakfast brought to the room. Friendly hosts, happy to advise on local restaurants and areas of interest on the Mani peninsula.

Room looked straight out of a design magazine, and was very pleasant. Breakfast was served in the room, and supplied as a basket breakfast in a day we had to leave early.

We were very happy with the saying in this hotel. We booked a big family room for a not big money (April 2024). The place was so nice that we were going to cancel our further plans:). The room was very, very clean. Nice landscapes around. Very comfortable beds.

It's a modern villa above the sea with olive trees around and manicured grounds, 6 min drive from the vibrant Gythio quay, and less than an hour both from the fabulous Monemvasia fortress and from Mystra monasteries. Very quiet and peaceful place, friendly staff, a short pleasant walk to the rugged beach. Spacious room with a kitchenette. Good both for a short and for a longer stay.

Soundproofing could be a bit better; we could hear the screaming of kids from two rooms away. But - It didn't affect our stay; we turned on the AC on medium, and it masked the noise.

A really good hotel located in a perfect place in Gytheio. The staff is amazing, the breakfast is superb, and all in all, we had a great time. The yard is beautiful as well, and contains many seating spots.

We loved our stay at the Olive Yard. The room was very comfortable and clean, with a nice terrace with beautiful sea view, and the breakfast was really good. We enjoyed the small details like the soap and shampoo provided for our baby. It was also a great base to explore Mani.

The exhausting system in the toilet was very loud and was automatic, meaning that when we wanted to use the toilet in the middle of the night it was very noisy for everyone.

Breakfast was excellent, we asked if they could serve the basket outside on the sharing table and they did! It was amazing to sit outside on the sun and shade, eat delicacies, you could listen to the waves of the sea and it was different each day - we were there for 2 days. The friendly dog and cats were a plus for our kids, besides the friendly and happy staff. Free parking space and a Beach in walking distance means we want to go back :)

Not a disadvantage for me but to have dinner or buy smt you will have to drive to Gythio. So if you like to eat and have drinks in walking distance it’шетще an option here

The hotel is located in quite isolated area in 5-7 mins ride from Gythio. It's a very calm place and beautiful nature vice. Our room was quite spacious, clean and had a great terrace with all kind of garden furniture. We stayed just 1 night so didn’t use a kitchen. But it looks fully equipped. Breakfast is served to your room. Eggs, pastries, sandwiches, jams, fruits and so. We were outside of season but it should be a great place for summer vaccinations cause downstairs there is a nice and as I got not crowded beach. Staff is very helpful and polite. Also you can purchase farm made olive oil here.

Amazing romantic charming and peaceful location 5 minutes from the beach with sea view in the middle of a beautiful olive grove surrounded by beauty and nature. Spacious rooms with balconies and home made breakfast brought to us every morning. Katerina was extremely accommodating and helpful with making plans or anything we needed in general to make us feel very welcome.

Very nice Room with space for four due to the integrated second floor. Having breakfast on the balcony was great, enjoying the meal and the view in direction of Gythio. Beds were perfect.

The fact that we did not get the room we booked - staff was nice but refused to admit the mistake. One of the rooms we booked was Family room with the sea view but we got Family room with the garden view. The difference is in size - Garden view is about 10 sq m smaller, Sea view room has the bed positioned in the loft and the sea view should obviously be completly direct. My room was nice and all, but the sea view was very partial at its best- from some corners of the terrace....but at least I got to see a beautiful cat every morning :)

You would have to be a real head case to NOT love The Olive Yard

Absolutely beautiful room with lovely spacious balcony overlooking the olive groves and at night over to the town of Gytheio. Tastefully decorated and cosy with all we needed to prep a meal if we chose. Thank you to Georgia, Katarina and the other ladies who brought the breakfast to our room both days. Fabulous breakfast in a basket with eggs (omelette one day and fried the next) bread, butter, Greek yoghurt, jams, honey, fruit, olives and fresh orange juice - divine. Eating on the terrace in the sun was a great way to start the day! The building is aesthetically pleasing and the decor is a bit quirky but it all flows and is very enchanting. We loved it here and would love to return one day
