I didn't get sent the code to the front door so was unable to get in on the first night when I arrived at 1am. Communication failure that should have been avoided. Shame, because if I had the codes check in would have been seamless. So piece of advice: if checking in after hours make sure you get the codes to get in.

Can't fault the room. Smart, modern, comfortable, well equipped. Had a great stay. Location is a quiet, residential street. It's a few Km from the centre but a simple walk and not hard to navigate around with Google maps.

There was maintanence work being done affecting the gym when i wanted to use it and it caused powercut temporarily but this was fixed quickly.

Easy checkin, comfortable rooms and beds, gym available on the site and the place was clean and the staff friendly ad welcoming. Wifi worked well. I really liked the neighbourhood as well. Its not spacious but it has what you need for a few days stay.

The only minor issues during my stay were related to housekeeping and location. Housekeeping did not proactively replenish towels and toiletries, but they were accommodating when requested. Additionally, the hotel's location, while in a charming neighborhood, was somewhat far from the center of Athens, necessitating daily taxi rides for city visits.

The room was new and exceptionally clean, offering a comfortable and inviting stay. The check-in process was seamless, which was a relief given my late arrival. The hotel's willingness to allow a late check-out at 18:00 was a thoughtful gesture that aligned well with my travel schedule. The reception staff, particularly the receptionist, were always friendly and attentive. Additionally, the hotel's location in a pleasant neighborhood full of cafes added a charming aspect to my stay.

I liked everything! There was a taxi strike and rained a fair amount but I do not think the Rooster could have done much about it ;-)

Very spacious apartments. Helpful and attentive staff. Very good value for money. Location is good too; close to Fokionos Negri with all the restaurants and cafes but surprisingly free of late night noise.

Very minor but for some reason, the pendant light fittings in the bedroom is giving a flickering effect when looking at moving objects or moving hands.

Maisonette is not for everyone, it is a nice concept but going up and down the rotating stairs with the room on the top floor leaving insufficient space for luggage can be a bit of a struggle, making it easier to use the outside life to carry on a suitcase.

The size, features including b’day hose on toilet, multiple shower heads, ability to cook if-needed and the entire separation of rooms should the need arise for comfort if others are present.

The location won’t be for everyone who wants easy access to the central tourist attractions.

New, modern, spotlessly clean. Spacious accommodation with aircon and excellent soundproofing from street sounds typical of a city. Lovely, friendly, efficient and professional English speaking staff. For us the location was great as plenty of vibrant restaurants, hipster cafes and bars nearby, which were populated by English speaking staff and locals, with absence of tourists. A 20 minute walk to the nearest metro. A bus route seemingly nearby. Plenty of taxis around. The walk into city centre around 45 mins. We did get a taxi from airport as our flight arrived after dark amd would recommend that if your first time , like us, in Athens. The area felt very safe , despite graffiti appearance. Very good value.

Nothing to do with the hotel. Be on alert for poopy on the sidewalk. We found it was washed away overnight.

The staff were so kind, especially Panos at the front desk and Mrs. Nadia. We shortened one of the room's stay by one night and Panos helped make sure all logistics were okay with Booking.com so we were refunded one night's rate. Not every hotel will work with you on shortening a stay without incurring penalties. The location is really nice. Unbeknownst to us at the time of booking, Kipseli is young, hip, urban neighborhood. I liken it to NYC's lower east side. It has great coffee shops and is near a green, Fokionos Negri, with lots of eateries. Pro tip: try H Nostimies tis Mary's. There's a beautiful church with Byzantine mosaics at Agiou Georgiou. One morning, our street, Sporadon, became an expansive farmer's market. We felt very safe in Kipseli. The hotel is small and has 2 apartments per floor, which was perfect for us. My husband and I took one apt. while our 24 year old daughter and friend had the other. The apartments have air conditioning and a kitchen. The hotel is very close to laundry facilities. Taxis are very affordable in Athens, so it was easy for the four of us to get to the Acropolis, the Plaka, and Syntagma Square. Pro tip: download the taxi app called 'Free Now'. It accepts Apple Pay.

Bins were not emptied daily - toilet and general bin. This was not pleasant and needs to be rectified. Was there 5 nights and no linen change either.

Very comfortable and newish apartments. Clean and nice view from balcony of Parthenon in distance. Rooftop bar with lovely views over city. Easy walk to to bakery, taverns, chemist, supermarket. Uber to Acropolis only €8 .

I was disappointed with no restaurant or breakfast,also the rooftop cocktail bar was closed.when I booked my stay it was all open.the problem was staff shortages.

The door handle was broke. Minor issues staff fixed right away no issues. Couldn’t get coffee pot to work.
