The property is literally perfect. The gym is small in space—if that matters. But it shouldn’t bc you are in one of the most gorgeous locations on the planet. So please, go outside for a walk/run and don’t waste your time on a treadmill. You can do that from home. While small, the gym has all the weights (including heavy) and everything you need.

From the insane breathtaking views (sunrise to sunset) to the impeccable, world class, premier service, to the insane INSANE food served at the restaurant, this hotel was everything. The wine pairings were a highlight. So perfect with every bite. Beyond my wildest dreams. Just wow. I cannot wait to return.

There is a nice area outside of the pool/spa area could be set up for lounging. The view is great, so our balcony was used often and west facing for sunsets, but the chairs could be more comfortable.

The staff was friendly and responsive. Dining was great, the foods were well prepared and there was a variety of choice. We did a wine tasting organized by the sommelier, Iro at a winery on the slopes of the nearby mountains. It was an extraordinary experience. Tour of the facilities and 5 different wines along with history on Crete.

The pool water was rather cold, but it was December.

Amazing hotel, we were very happy with our stay. We visited offseason (beginning of January). We upgraded to a room on a third floor (close to reception). The room was very spacious, we had a balcony facing the sea which was exposed to the evening sun, there is a steamshower-hammam built into the room. The hotel is a bit far from Chania old town, but the walk takes about 20 minutes and is completely walkable by the seaside, which was a beautiful walk and most of the time full of bars and cafes. In addition, the lunch and dinner menu in the hotel was super high quality and delicious so we dined there twice. We also used the gym, pool and big hammam - great experience. Recommended for high quality relaxing experience.

The top two-level suites are located just by the reception, and since the hall is full of echo (stone), noise penetrates - ask for a room furthest from the reception. Nowhere to park the car even to unload, only a valet (free) car park. Swimming pool not too big and it was rather crowded.

The room comfort was beyond belief - spacious, two levels, two huge beds, two bathrooms, jacuzzi, seaview balcony... and it can be quiet too (but see below). Kind, helpful staff. Restaurant absolutely marvelous - food (steak, fish), smiling and attentive staff in the middle of summer(!), the view... Quiet area, beautiful view from the rooms, 20 mins walk to the historic harbour or an inexpensive hotel taxi
