Good location. Not a big hotel but nice and very close to the own beach. Umbrellas at beach for free, bar is just steps from beach. If you want to discover Crete and live close to seaside at same time, it is very good option. Not far from Heraklion airport is good as well.

We booked a superior studio and it was not stated anywhere on the description or pictures that it will be like a walkout basement. Had I known this I would have booked something else. For some it maybe a good choice as it’s very close to the beach entrance and pool.

The breakfast was good and varied. Wi-Fi works ok. Plenty of space at the free parking lot. Location is within walking distance to restaurants. Beachfront property with sun beds.

Hotel has a private beach with sun beds and towels. Basic cleaning every day. Lots of good restaurants close by. In general we liked the hotel, simple but has everything you need. As a bonus we had a kitchen in the room

In general, the internet connection was very poor. So if you need it, you need to rely on your own. Also, the communication with the reception staff has room for improvement. There was one day with no running water due to an incident in town (obviously not the hotel’s fault), but we could not get a hold of anyone at the reception to get information. There is a deposit fee for the beach towels, and if you want it back you need to plan that in advance.

The location is simply perfect. Right by the beach and a walking distance from the town’s center. The apartment was spacious and had a very nice sea view. It was clearly renovated. The kitchen has all the essentials if you prefer to do your own cooking. The cleaning staff & bar/ restaurant staff were amazing, very helpful and attentive. The food & drinks at the restaurant were really good.

Wi-if and gsm signal very low. Breakfast every day the same things and not a large variety. Restaurant limited offer to fried stuff.

Ac didn’t work properly,no quality housekeeping,broken things ,fridge shelf was broken ,toilet seat as well and we had to call for someone to screw the wardrobe door .

Some of personnel persons looks like they don't to want be there and felt like they don't Caren. When looked under mattress found alot of mould and it's not something you would like to sleep at.

The fridge was very loud and it got very hot so we had to unplug it. There was no 'do not disturb' sign so the cleaning staff just came in and did the bed and cleaned the room. At one time we were asleep as the heat was too much and they let themselves in so that was awkward. You get a sink and microwave in the room but there is no washing up liquid, it would be helpful to have that. No one at the hotel asked us how our stay was which was a bit rubbish as I would hope they would want to know and improve. The lunch at the restaurant was very bland but its well priced,we only had it the once as it had no taste unfortunately.

The breakfast was nice, the location was incredible, the private beach was absolutely fabulous and very clean and the fact that you get free access to the sun loungers was much appreciated!! We had aircon in the room which was fantastic given the 40 degree heat!!!

One of the rooms received was at ground level and had mold, but this was fixed by the manager by offering other room once available.

The views from the restaurant and the hotel are wonderful. The food is good. The personnel are very attentive and always try to fix potential issues. The hotel has a private beach and it facilitates sunbeds, umbrellas and beach towels at no cost.

Rooms are not soundproof and you can hear noose from neighbors or corridor. Breakfast is not very varied.

Great location directly at the beach. Easy parking if you rent a car. Room is big enough and clean. Great view from the balcony in the seafront apartments. Overall good value for money.

I can highly recommend Theo Star Beach Hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and the location of the hotel with the direct access to a smaller beach access was superb! The breakfast was a nice buffet with great variety of foods.

There are some details that should be fixed, but they are not essential. Our bathroom smell was bad, maybe pipes are not working well. Kitchen. If you are planning to use kitchen, take or buy all you need, because hotel doesnt provide any kitchen sponge, towel, fairy, solt, pepper... Just dishes. There were some moskitos at night and no mesh or other "security" on windows. We had funny accident, when we realized that during morning room cleaning our personal small towel was missing. So husband went to stuff premicies, but there where no stuff people. But fortunately he found all those dirty hotel towels and our little one was also there. :)

Very good place for family with children and teenagers. Nice pool. Sea is also in hotel teritory. Nights without parties. Special thanks for early breakfast packs. We had to leave early in the morning, so we asked for some food for breakfast, and got hudge packages. We liked our room orientantion - seaview was the best. We had almost 3 spacious rooms in our number with big balcony, that was so good. Breakfast is basic, but all of us found what to eat. For 3 days it was enough. Hotel is just near tawerns, markets and center of Malia. But at the same time not in noisy area.
