There was nothing which could have been better.

This is a complete gem of a hotel. Full of character, charm and individuality, every detail combines to draw you into the enchantment of this most enchanting of islands. The endlessly varied breakfast menu exemplified the care and flair which make Greek home cooking so special. The hotel is owned and run by a warm and gracious family, who take evident pride in the special place they have created. They spared no effort to ensure that we go the most out of our stay, and left us determined to return at the earliest opportunity.

The only thing which wasn’t great was the amount of bugs in the outdoor jacuzzi but I know this is expected and there is a net to scoop them out so it’s not too bad, a cleaner also comes and cleans the jacuzzi in the morning. The location is beautiful but about a 10 minute walk into Chora and up quite a hill, so at night it is quite dark and you have to walk along a road so as a solo traveller I would have maybe preferred a location closer to the main town but for one night this suited me perfectly for a complete relax! It would also be better if there is option to have some shade by the swimming pool as I loved it there, so quiet and relaxing but I got too hot too quickly as no shade from the sun.

The views were spectacular from my private hot tub which was such a beautiful experience. The beds super comfortable. The traditional home made greek foods for breakfast was lovely and the place felt very homely and comfortable especially because the staff were so lovely. Perfectly safe for a solo traveller like myself.

The breakfast was amazing, the staff were so approachable, we felt like part of the family at Tholaria, it had a beautiful homely feel about it! The room was fantastic and it had a balcony with an incredible view which was so nice to wake up to!

The breakfast was one of the best that I have ever experienced in a hotel. Everything home made, tasty delicacies, greek pies, croissants, cakes for all the tastes. Big congratulations to amazing Mrs Litsa who was more than willing to share with us the tasty receipts for the yogurt mousse, cakes, pies etc...

I was concerned at first at the ‘steps’ leading to the loft bedroom. It was more like a ladder without a handrail. It wasn’t easy walking down to the bathroom during the night. I would recommend older guests to check with the property regarding accessibility. I did get used to it and took my time walking down.

The view was beautiful. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. The bed was very comfortable. A fabulous location. Very well looked after by the gracious hostess.

The hotel and the rooms are just incredible. Everything is super clean, the stuff friendly and the daily selfmade greek breakfast just a dream. We spend our honeymoon there and we couldn't imagine a better place. We will for sure come back to this awesome place.

Perfect location with a stunning view. Restaurants, bars and the beach in Livardi are easily to reach even by feet. Nice breakfast and clean rooms. All in all we can defintely recommend this place.

There is nothing to criticize! The only small note: a small shaded area by the pool would be great.

Very nice staff in a wonderful hotel. Large, clean, wonderful room with a balcony with a fantastic view. An incredibly good and traditional breakfast on a wonderful terrace. A wonderful pool, only a few minutes to the wonderful beach, only a few minutes to the local tavernas and bars. A dream come true! We definitely come back! Thank you!

Wonderful stay. The host was very nice. The breakfast is really amazing. We enjoyed the swiming pool. The host gave us beach towels. We have taken care of a sweety cat. we hope to come back.

everything is perfect at tholaria. The position is walking distance to the Chora. Room (Castellana Room) is large, very cleaned, with a wonderful view on Chora. Breakfast is excellent, with home made products. Maria, the owner, is very pleasent, always nice with guest!

The bedroom in the upper part of the suite was a bit warmer than expected, but probably due to the heat wave of the days of our stay.
