Very well equipped clean rooms! The location is stunning and the village is fantastic! Very good breakfast and the hosts (Mr. Giorgos and Mrs. Athena) were very helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend!!

I traking through the mountains and for me the location of the hotel was ideal. There were also very nice hosts. I liked everything.

The shower has a bit weak water pressure and the shower hose can’t be hanged.

No downside

We loved Karaouli—it's tucked away at the top of Mikro Papingo, beneath the looming cliffs and overlooking the valley towns and mountains beyond. Our room was warm and comfortable, the owners were friendly and attentive, and the outdoor cats were playful and cuddly (and abundant!). When we visited in early April, there were no other tourists in the town as far as we could see, which was perfect for us. Can't recommend a visit to this area enough.

The hosts were wonderful and picked me from my car with a quad bike to transport me and my luggage up to the rooms. The rooms are in a beautiful spot and are very comfortable. The breakfast was lovely also.

The couple here was so friendly and kind. It's a beautiful traditional guesthouse located in a picturesque village. The breakfast was excellent. The pastry served at breakfast was one of my favorite things I ate during my trip to Greece. I can't recommend this place enough. I would definitely stay here again! Note: Park at the bottom of the village and walk up to the guesthouse. There are signs as you go through the village and it was easy to find.

Evrything was perfect.

Athina and George were very kind and helpful. They woke up very early to prepare our breakfast, in order to eat before hiking in the morning. Rooms were very traditional, clean and comfortable.

Karaouli is one of a kind. A place can be made so only by the confluence of special attention, really good taste and natural circumstances. The original stone house has been wonderfully restored, intruducing comfort without lessening the original feel of the rooms. The furniture is beautiful and the woven cloth decorations add colour. I loved my room with its large deep windows looking over the roof to slopes and trees, it's a room you feel you belong to and sleep well in. Athina is a wonderful hostess and so is her breakfast. George very kindly picked me up from the parking in his quad and took me back there. It's a perfect place to set out from to explore the surroundings, whether you go in for longer hikes or just a few minutes' walk - if you just walk down to the village, the view over Papingo and the area is breathtaking, and so it is when you set out in every other direction. I loved every minute, was sorry to go, and have every intention of coming back.

Shower & toilet room is very small & basic. But its as one can imagine in a traditional house in the mountains .

The traditional rooms are really traditional! The house & yard are very authentic making it very simple & special. George & Athina made our time pleasant & enjoyable. The home made breakfast was the best we had in Greece!!! Thanks for that The small village is very beautiful & a spacial spot.

Athena was a great host . Very warm and helpful and the place is sweet, very clean, cozy, with a beautiful view to the gorge. The room was nice with extremely hot shower and comfortable bed. The breakfast was delicious . We absolutely loved it and felt at home. We are definitely going to come back here.
