We absolutely loved our stay at Sofia's 💜 the view from the house was breathtaking, and the bed super comfortable. We really liked staying outside of the village's centre, as the house was very calm, and we could enjoy the beautiful garden. Sofia was very friendly, available, and always willing to answer our questions. We will be back!! 🌷

This was my favorite stay of our 2 week trip to Greece. Sofia was a lovely hostess. The location was beautiful. I enjoyed the walk out from town and loved the seclusion. We were in the upstairs unit with separate living area and small kitchen and it was very attractive and I loved the terrace overlooking the bay. I could have stayed forever!

We came to Hydra to get married. We wanted to stay somewhere on a magical island which also offered privacy. Sofia is a terrific host, the facilities both inside and outside the house are terrific. Also within very easy reach of the port if you want something livelier.

Sofia was a great host as was the accomodation. Even though it’s a 20 min walk from Hydra, this is what made our stay so unique. The walk along the cliff road was picturesque and easy. We did use the mules for our luggage which Sofia arranged for us. Being out of town it was quiet and the views were amazing. We travelled for 2 months throughout Europe and this stay was in our top 2!

It was a dream. Nothing to say.

The villa is immersed in nature, away from the chaos of the center. The access to the sea is amazing and the whole house is full of history and soul. A magic place to stay.

Be prepared that it really is far from the port - for me it was 25 minutes from the port and about 20 to the port ( the road is almost flat, yet with slight elevation towards Tramontana). If I was missing something it is maybe a blanket for colder nights ( the weather wasnt great when I was there) ,but probably if I'd asked, Sofia would provide.

This is a great place, that has everything for your stay - literally everything. From fully equipped kitchenette with all necessary essentials like oil, sugar, coffee, tea, even complimentary water in the fridge, to beach towels. Two lovely terraces ( one covered an one with sun all day long and sunbeds), a balcony, you can hear the sea from your window. I also really liked the fact that there was a shower with closed doors, unlike in most places in Greece, so you did not flood the bathroom. The place is very quiet and safe. Sofia the host is really nice and helpful.

Amazing view. Can’t believe we had 2 private balconies and a living room & kitchen to ourselves. Sofia was a great host. It was nice being a bit away from the main town, felt like we could really retreat by ourselves if we felt like it.

Leaving the property was so sad

This was like heaven on Earth. The property was outstanding and the hostess Sofia was amazing. We really did not want to leave. THere was a fully stocked kitchen with coffee and milk for us. The views from thee bedroom , the deck and terraces were amazing. Yes it was a bit of a hike into Hydra but the view and tranquility was exceptional. THe bed was really comfortable and there really was nothing more we could wish for Yes the Wifi was not perfect but who cares - you are on holidays no big deal

Wonderful place and a real gem. Own patio for sunbathing, private ladder into the sea for swimming/snorkeling, fantastic views, everything you'll need to feel really at home. Also its great to be away from the main hubbub for some tranquility, I wished I could have stayed longer.

A beautiful, spacious place on the road between Mandraki beach and Hydra port. The house has a lot of history, having been a famous yacht club run by the the father of the current host, Sofia, and frequented by many prominent people in years gone by. There is a book of photographs from that era which is quite interesting to look at. The views were absolutely beautiful. The host lives on site and there was another occupied unit, yet it felt private and quiet. Sofia was friendly and welcoming and even left us tea and oranges on our first day!

Not a big deal but it is 20min from the port, dragging suitcase(the road is quite fine) from the port and under big sun will make you sweat a lot.

Place have 3 houses (one of the owner), and it is well designed so everyone has its space and it is very quiet and calme. The view is wonderfull. It has its own access to the sea with a ladder directly to the sea,which is very nice in this island. When it is hot you have transat in the shade if you want on one of the two terrasse. And in the bedroom and living room there is air conditioning if you need. To sum up it is exceptional place, you won't be disappointed

Tramontana is stunning with ocean views from every room. The outdoor steps take you to the water where you can swim in a beautiful setting. The owner was very friendly and our stay was wonderful. This place exceeded expectations. A real find.
