There is nothing not to like there!

We loved the place (very clean, great location, beautiful views from the room, etc.), the beach (clean, sunbeds included, turquoise water, etc.), the food (large portions, great taste, good prices, free fruits and raki at the end of every meal...YAMAS!), all the people there are great. We loved Greek Paseta and Pastitsio! Yiannis (our host) was great, we thank him very much for everything! He left us in the room until we left for the airport, he fulfilled all our requirements, he is the best host ever! We loved everything there....so we definitely have to come back for more beautiful memories... :)

The hotel is fantastic and great location. The room is clean with good views. The manager is present and very helpful. He always makes sure you are ok and offers his business card should you need anything. Also I had a late flight and he allowed me to keep the room open at no extra cost.

Wonderful place, we felt like at home from the first moment. Very kind and friendly owner, clean, simple and nice rooms, everything you need. The best thing is breakfast - right at the beach. The beach is nice as well, with comfortable lounge chairs.

Nicest hospitality, family running business! Just in front of the gorgeous see, very clean, comfortable beds, very yummy greek food. Best location for peaceful relaxing holidays! Near to the Heraklion center- just half an hour by bus, 5 min walk to the bus station.

Mattress could be softer but it was only our point of view

Great location directly on the beach. One of the best restaurants with great food overviewing the sea while you eat. Friendly staff and helpful manager😁 Easy to get to the airport and city center. Definitely will come again.

Air con was only in one of the two adjoining rooms, although the breeze meant it wasnt that necessary. The shower head didn't have a holder so you had to hold it up, no big deal really. There was some sand on the floor etc, but thats to be expected given the location.

Wonderful location right on the beach only 15 mins from the airport. Staff were friendly and helpful, restaurant served generous portion of decent food with tables out on the beachfront. Sun loungers on the beach free of charge. We loved our short stay.

I couldn t stay longer

I really enjoy my stay at Tropical. Yiannis and all the stuff are amazing. Everything was perfect. Felt like home with hôtel services. Breakfast perfect. I really recommande to tast the restaurant for lunch or dinner with this amazing view front of the beach. Special thanks for Paris and the white sangria ;) The bus station is near you can take the bus to go to Heraklion city center. There is a lot of shops and tourist office to book excursions. Will come back for suuuuurre!!😉👌

The only thing we did not like was that we missed it the day we left.

Family run hotel and restaurant. Practically on the beach, with stores and car rentals within walking distance. Room was exceptionally clean, whitewashed walls with turqoise accents, Mediteranean style, in front of the beach. Both sunrise and sunset sea views. Ample space, two balconies. Hotel restaurant was famous for best food, service was attentive, staff was efficient and friendly. Sunbeds were included, off street parking was easy and free.

I do not have anything bad to say, just the beds are quite small and easy unconfortable, and the breakfast is very very basic. It is ok for 2-3 days, but for longer stays i recomand also breakfast from the meniu. And the weather was quite windy, but still the beach is amaizing.

The owner and all the people are very very nice people, cozy and friendly. The rooms are quite nice, very very basic, but nice and clean. The place and the view is amaizing, with a beautifull sunrise. And we also had included seats and umbrellas nearby beach.

the mattress was a bit hard.

This is a perfect place to stay when you are travelling to Heraklion to sightsee (if you don't have a car just hop on a bus which will take to the center in 20min) but want to also take advantage of Heraklion's closeness to the (Ammoudara) beach and sea! The atmosphere is so relaxing and the neighbourhood so beautiful compared to the main city. There is everything you need just on site, within hand's reach. We also did a windsurfing lesson which was just next doors. We dined in several places close to the property and discovered the food and prices were the best at our place (which was also apparent in the fact that guests from nearby properties dined at our place in the evenings). The beds were not the most comfortable for us, but that is the only downside to our stay. We could also store our luggage before/after our check-in/check-out time.

Perfect stay on the beach in very relaxed atmosphere. Good breakfast. 10-15 min walk if you want some tavernas, shops. Seaside, beach, deckchairs.. Perfect smiling chit-chatting staff always ready to help you. They treat you like a family. Great taverna with delicious food. It's not crowdy place so perfect for relax.
