A small modern boutique hotel meets traditional local stone house. Everything was perfect, the room and various small details. Also, the staff very helpful about the main hiking trail.

Maybe the price could be lower? Rooms aren't soundproof but it must be hard to resolve the issue in such an old building.

Beautiful old well maintained house. There was a chimney in my room as well as french press to make coffee in the morning - really nice. Sonia the host was super friendly.

Stemnitsa was by far our favourite place of our 20 day trip. Tsarbou guesthouse welcomed us and treated us like familly. Christina, the owner of the business is pure gold. The room and it’s vibe is just fantastic, especially for us who don’t really enjoy the heat during the summer months. I have only good thing to say about the business, the facilities, the breakfast and our overall experience. We’ll be back soon!

We enjoyed the friendliness of the staff, especially Sophia serving breakfast. it was a great breakfast too! The accommodations were comfortable and beautiful. It was so close to the center of town. The parking available made it so easy.

The property was wonderful. We loved our room, it was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Located near the central square so also very convenient. Christina was very friendly and helpful and gave us superb advice regarding our onward journey to Levidi- thanks for that Christina, the drive through the forest was amazing. Nicoletta, her youngest child was a character and served us a wonderful breakfast. She also turned off the internet just to show everyone who is in charge!

There was no shower hook, it looked like there was one once that had broken and in its place was a “make shift” bracket - this was not a problem for us, but it could be easily fixed.

We loved our stay at Tsarbou, a traditional building sympathetically renovated with a modern twist. Our room was really nice and cozy, we had a balcony with views over the neighbouring rooftops and a super comfy bed. It’s in a really good location too, just a few minutes walk to the tavernas and restaurant, there is also a bakery just a few steps up the street. Stemnitsa’s mountain village location means lovely cool evenings so don’t be put off by no air conditioning, you simply won’t need it. Lovely hosts who explained the local area, what to see and what to do and gave us some great tips for our hikes and exploring. Highly recommend Tsarbou for your mountain village stay when visiting the Peloponnesus.

Only stayed one night. Stemnitsa is a nice village with plenty of local walks

Traditional exterior but very nice modern interior. Spacious comfortable room with usual amenities including a fridge. Great location near bakery and main square.. Welcome drink on arrival. No public transport to Stemnitsa but Christina will organise a taxi from Tripoli, the nearest bus station. Stemnitsa is the start of the Menalon Trail.

Friendly staff, breakfast OK. Beds very hard with fluffy blanket. Small room, no mountain view in ours. Fitting for shower head was gone in our bathroom so I had to hold the shower head while washing my hair, which is a trick I do not master.

Very nice and beautiful place 2 minutes from the central square, restaurants and shop; also start of Lousios gorge hike. Some parking places next to the house, plenty 3 min downhill in parking lot. Balcony, small yard. You can heat the room during the colder nights. Good views, strong wifi, pleasant people.
