Our room was very luxurious, spacious and modern with a small kitchenette. Maria is a wonderful host, very helpful and friendly. Rethymno is a 10 minute taxi ride - there is a taxi stand a short walk from Utopia. We had a perfect stay.

This hotel is an amazing gem. The facilities were clean and fresh, breakfast was good and the service was amazing. We came in really late due to a delayed flight and Maria made sure my kids were still able to get something to eat. If you are looking for a place to stay on Crete this is a wonderful find. Excellent service, excellent location, excellent rooms. Would 100% stay again.

The road is slightly busy but nothing to worry about.

Our room and breakfast was incredible. The rooftop pool is spectacular. Our whole stay was super from the beginning to the end. We really enjoyed our vacation.

although very personal; we were a bit disappointed by the location; Utopia is facing a street with quite some traffic of fast accelerating drivers, causing not the most attractive conditions to have a chill on the terrace (facing the street). Also, luckily we had a rental car, otherwise you will be troubled, as you are some distance away from beautiful beaches, restaurants, hot spots, Rethymno, Chania, .. so having a rental car is deemed necessary to enjoy the environment to the fulliest. The breakfast was an enjoyable buffet, impressing for the first time you face alle the happy bites, however, as we stayed 6 nights, the day to day variation may could have been a bit higher and surprising, though I’m getting picky here :) Finally, but again very personal, we were a bit suprised by the fact that the rooftop pool was heated, as we were certainly looking forward to a refreshing dive into a fresh pool in early summertime 😅 The pool appeared also to be a little smaller than I had in mind, based on the pictures on booking😋 Please keep in mind that these are very personal experiences, reflecting subjective preferences

if you are looking out for beautiful, spacious rooms with amazing levels of comfort, Utopia is the place to go!! The rooms are sooo beautiful, everything, really everything you would ever think of needing is available, in perfect condition and properly functioning!!!! Everything!!! Spacious separate bedroom for 2pp with own bathroom and shower, many many many cupboards and closets to stuff your stuff, spacious living room with smart-TV that has Netflix et al., the best mattress of whole Kreta, a beautiful and very well equipped kitchen, as promised a personal jacuzzi, an airco, a second shower and bathroom, a lovely coach, a nice terrace. The style is superlovely (O I loved the drapes, the furniture, the colors, .. although this is personal of course) The perfect room! congrats!! Furthermore; commonly available; a fresh and outdoor breakfast terrace (just perfect temperature and still outside), a shared washing machine to do some laundry, and a famous rooftop infinity pool ! such a delight! the manager, Maria, is on top! With a warm heart, she is willing to help you with anything, anytime, and boy is she effective! What a fantastic manager, what a fantastic mom, what a kind, calm and warm personality! Also kudos to the housekeeping, everything was so well done and executed.. Kudos!!

There is definitely nothing!

The hotel was perfect in every single way. The welcome of Maria was very warm and she is the best host you could imagine - so helpful and kind. The 2 week stay was amazing and we will definitely come back. We felt like home and the hotel was so quiet, familial and relaxing. And of course perfectly designed in every detail. Perfect for couples!

Microwave oven was missed dearly especially when we had leftovers to heat up. Our apartment was on the ground floor it had a patio with dining table and jacuzzi outside the room, its very close to the road it was noisy when we had our time at our jacuzzi. A fibreglass compartment covering the patio would have given better privacy made our experience better.

Maria was very attentive towards her guest, we were welcomed whole heartedly, given guidence to places around that area. She even helped us with our stay on the last day since our flight back home was late in the evening. The partment is fitted with jacuzzi, kids had good time in it. Its new with modern facilities and especially its beds are very comfortable to sleep in like 4 in 🌟 hotels. Their pool is small and not deep, good for relaxation and sunbathing and for the kids to play. The overall ambiance is good and we did enjoy our stay there. Location is okay, walking like 1KM will take us to the nearest beach. There are 2 good restaurants just 100 meters away and local supermarket just 30 meters in front of the apartment. Other night life and touristic shops are by the beach so you need that 1KM walk. We had a rental car so moving around to Rethymno and going around places like to Preveli, Triopetra, Monestery and gorge was managed well.

The property is luxury, nice and new. Every room has a private jakuzzy. You get bathrobe and everithing needed for spa. The kitchen is small but well aquipped. The staff welcom you with some vine, coffe, chocolates. There is realy nice pool on the roof with the view to the town and the sea. You have to have a car, there is 10 min to the town od Rethimno by car. Grocery shop is cross the street. Staff is really nice.

Hmm maybe location if you are looking for crazy night life and 100 of pubs and restaurants that's not a place for you. If you like calm places with great taverns and beach close by then Utopia is a great choice.

Amazing place. Great, brand new, modern, stylish apartments. Welcoming, helpful and professional staff. Couldn't ask for more. Plus that swimming pool on the roof top...that jacuzzi on the balcony. Take me back there!

The location is a little far from some main beach’s but totally doable especially if you have a car. we liked it because it was quieter and peaceful and we’re okay with the drives. (Not more then hour and a half/ 2 hour drives) there’s also lots to do in the area.

Maria was absolutely amazing from the start. She welcomed us with a huge smile and helped us with what ever we needed at anytime. She helped us plan our days and gave us great suggestions. The whole place was very clean and nice- the pool is beautiful!!!! She left us some nice surprises in the fridge. The place has a great kitchen to make food and there is a lot of pots/pans/plates ext. that you can use. Close to the beach and lots of restaurants. Right across is a supermarket and an even bigger one 500 meters down the road.

The location is on a very busy road so is quite noisy. The facilities are very nice but the location is a strange choice. There is no reception - a little more line an apartment.
