Facilities are perfect, apartment had all that you would need for your stay. Pool was fabulous. Local bus available in the village to save some time walking. Food, drinks, snacks and a selection of books all available if needed.

Lovely bungalow room in a great location. The breakfast was a good addition and staff very welcoming. Matala was a short walk or drive and is the perfect mix of beach, history and relaxed night life. Loved the sunsets, restaurants and evening shopping in the lovely bazaar.

Musquitos in the room were annoying and had to be faught before sleep.

Nice place and very polite employees. We rented a bungalow but do to bad weather flights were canceled and our accommodation was not available. We got to choose between 3 other rooms which was nice. And because of the situation we cannot say bad thing about this. Great breakfast buffet and only short walk to beach and Matala center.

Bit noisy little fridge, but manageable. Would be great to have an insect net, as mosquitoes come rushing into the room, but we had a plug-in anti-insects device we bought ourselves, so not such a big problem either.

Walking distance from the beach. Parking on the premises (even right at your room door). Super friendly staff, both at the reception and at the bar/ restaurant. Delicious breakfast with great variety. Very quiet, even if close to main road.

The Pool area is run down. There are broken parts and the water wasn't as clean as it could be. The tiles around the pool are slippery and not in their best shape. It surely needs some attention.

The location is excellent a few hundred meters from the beach. The self-service breakfast is good and the personnel is very nice.

The pool wasn't clean enough. The small one for the babies and children, couldn't be used because the water was dirty and it seemed it wasn't filtered

There isn’t much I can say or fault. Like most places they don’t have vegan specifics on their menu, it would be nice surprise if I ever came back to visit.

The name of hotel says it all, you are in a valley surrounded by Crete’s mountains. It is 15 minute walk the beach and to the main restaurants in Matala, however this was perfect for my preference. I liked being further away with beautiful views to appreciate. I came to Crete the start of may just before the season fully started so I had the luxury of enjoying the hotel which felt like all to myself first couple of days. The cats that hang about the complex was a bonus for me, I grew a bond with them but tried not to interfere to much with feeding them. Just the odd treat here and there and noticed some other tourists doing it aswell. I was happy to see they had a good life regardless of not being owned. I am vegan, food was a struggle in Crete yet I could of been more creative on what I could of asked for. At my stay at the valley the staff cooked me a vegetable pizza no cheese, pasta and another night I had grilled vegetables with potatoes and salad. At my request they did their best and it was appreciated. I honestly think it’s good value for money, my only wish is if I stayed long term for it to be a bit cheaper. Or perhaps discount at longer stays. Thank you

Upgraded upon arrival!! Very spacious bungalow with nice private terrasse, 2 sunbeds, table and chairs. Kettle, shower and even a jacuzzi! Very peaceful area.

The faucet in the sink should be better secured. Mow the lawn on the terrace. We missed the towel and swimsuit drying rack.

More than a great choice for the one night we spent in this accommodation. The accommodation is nicely maintained and clean. In the bungalow we had 2 terraces, 2 separate rooms, shower and bathtub in the bathroom. More than enough space for all luggage. The breakfast included in the price of the night was varied and delicious.

Quite location with pool for both children and adults. We even had a lunch at the hotel and it was very tasty. Great value for the money 😊

It was a bit of a walk to the beach, about 20 minutes.

It was very peaceful, quiet, and had an excellent breakfast. The surroundings were like a little oasis. The rooms were comfortable and just large enough. The staff were friendly and helpful. I recommend this place highly.

I reserved double king bed and got the big single beds connected. There are no hot water during the morning in October cause they are using solar system.

The room are well designed with private garden, the stuff was nice and helpful. The breakfast is nice and delicious.

The room was out dated and not the most comfortable bed.

We felt disappointed there - no hot shower, bathroom faucet was broken and bedlinen worn, windows dirty, small courtyard in the front of the bungalow was full of fallen palm leaves. The breakfast choice was limited
