Fabulous location high about the fascinating town of Kardamyli. This excellent hotel offers the opportunity of self-catering units with a good breakfast as an additional option. A stunning view, easy parking and well planted gardens are your first experience of Vardia. The cats and dog are super friendly as are the staff and Emma, the proprietress. Our accommodation was clean, comfortable and offered a well fitted kitchen area should you decide to self cater, otherwise the rest of the apartment was comfortable and fully furnished. Our balcony had two separate doors and two tables and chairs. I would very much recommend this hotel as a place to stay in Vardia

The hotel is beautifully situated on a hill above town with jaw dropping views. The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. The owner and staff are amazing. Stay here in Kardamyli!

Can’t really think of anything bad to say!

Amazing place. We booked a 2 bed apartment for 3 nights as we need to self cater a bit to fit in with our children’s needs. The apartment was beautiful, comfortable and well equipped. The terrace/balcony areas had amazing views over old Kardamili and out over the coast/sea. We could watch the swallows by day and bats by early evening! Great location for this bit of the coast. We explored the town, walked up into the hills behind the property(easy marked paths) and we went kayaking which was brilliant. We visited the beach here but our children did prefer the sandy beach at Stoupa. We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment but the staff were brilliant. Would very happily recommend and would look to stay here again if we come back to the area.

The hotel is high above the village overlooking Old Kardamyli. A quiet location with a footpath leading down from the hotel to the village. Be aware that it is a stiff walk back, however. Most rooms have a clear view out over the water and the sunsets are spectacular. Our room was large and airy with a generous kitchenette area and a balcony for alfresco dining. A good cafeteria-style breakfast is served out on the terrace of the main building. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Highly recommended.

Super view overlooking Kardamyli and the bay. Plenty of outdoor seating to relax with a book and a glass of wine. Staff are friendly and very helpful with local travel tips.

Such a beautiful place with the most amazingly views and nice staff. Breakfast was excellent. So glad we chose to stay here above the tow of Kardamili instead of in it. It was only a short walk through a path to the town below.

Beautiful location above Kardamyli with stunning sea views. Spacious apartment with perfect balcony for enjoying sunsets. Good sized bathroom with power shower. Small kitchen for self-catering, Generous buffet breakfast. Very friendly staff with special mention for Emma.

There is nothing NOT to like.

This is a beautiful hotel with gorgeous gardens overlooking the town. Rooms are very comfortable with private verandas. Breakfast is reasonable with an expansive selection of items. Service at the lobby and service staff was excellent.

The breakfast was not up to the same standard. A bowl of yoghurt and freshly cut fruit would have been good.

Lovely room, garden and staff. Fresh air and a lovely garden looking over a stunning view. Beautifully maintained. In this hot weather it was fresher high up the hill than in the village. The walk down to the village was lovely. Very good value compared to staying in the village, provided you have a car.

Everything was perfect .

The hotel was perfect for a relaxing break. The staff were very friendly and helpful booking a taxi for us from and back to the airport. The scenery from the hotel was magical with plenty of little areas to chill and read a book when it wasn't too hot ! The steps down from the Hotel to the Old Town and seafront were a great bonus and helped to keep us fit but were a bit of a challenge in the heatwave ! A very efficiently run hotel with just the right amount of facilities which keeps it a calm and relaxing environment for everyone. A wonderful base for a holiday in Kardamili.
