Beautiful, calm, comfortable, super clean. The pool was lovely, the sound of birds and the views and a feeling of luxury. Incredibly attentive hosts. Walking distance or a short drive to the local village and its tavernas. A 20 minute drive to the coast. We loved every minute of it!

I loved everything! Location can be a bit out the way if you don't drive but worth it for such a beautiful villa and experience.

A beautiful location and Konstantinos was an amazing host. The pool was lovely and was still warm enough to use in October. Konstantinos also gave us so many recommendations as well for the area of things to do and places to eat. I would suggest getting a car or asking for a taxi service you can use - we didn't have too many issues getting around just had to make sure we planned in advance! We will definitely be back.

I don't think I've ever stayed anywhere so close to perfection. The villa was well equipped, the beds were big and comfy, you could make the villa the right temperature etc. The pool was great to have when the sun was out around midday. The views from the balcony are gorgeous. Although not far from Rythemno, it feels like you're very much away from it all. George is a wonderful and kind host too. The 3 restaurants in Prines (20 mins by foot) are all extremely good.

Wifi a little poor (but you are in the middle of nowhere really) and it’s rather neighbour dependent (although the staff are great at sorting out any issues)

Fabulous villa, tucked away in a remote location and inside a massive green estate. Air conditioned big rooms and well furnished. The pool was lovely and each villas were pretty private. Rethymno town and attractions are very close and easily accessible by a car. Some lovely beaches nearby which we preferred over other famous ones. Very helpful management company with great suggestions on things to do and restaurants to try etc. Lovely estate staff!

We stayed for 10 nights in early June. Villa was brilliant, very clean with pool, bbq area etc. Housekeeper was on hand if we needed any help etc. if you want to enjoy the real Crete and not the tourist areas this is perfect. Booking for next year!

This might not be a negative for you, but If you want to be able to walk to get a morning coffee, or a quick bit to eat, don't come here. You need a car to get anywhere but the nearby villages have great tavernas.

If you want to discover life in the Cretan countryside, this villa is for you. I woke up to bird song, roosters crowing, and sheep bells. The villas are stunning: The grounds and gardens are beautiful and the photos do not do them justice. The Cretan people are friendly and hospitable and the property manager is incredibly attentive offering suggestions for what to do and where to eat. We arrived on a Sunday and were lucky enough to have the property owner greet us and give us a tour of the estate. He is very proud that he and his wife have been able to maintain the forest and trees on the property while building stone buildings in the Cretan Venetian style using green construction techniques.

The location is a bit risky to find. It was located in a small village. so pay attention to every little details the concierge provides.

It was very nice and clean. The property had the feeling of an old rustic cottage but with modern convenient amenities. Also the concierge was very helpful and kind.

Having to leave! Google's directions for reaching the property are misleading (as on other occasions on the island!) - contact George for directions before setting off to avoid getting lost.

Loved this peaceful, perfect paradise, surrounded by nature, where we could relax with every need for comfort attended to. The generous welcome, friendliness and hospitality from our hosts were exceptional as was the helpfulness in providing local information. All queries were very promptly and efficiently dealt with. Local tavernas (The Olive and Varanta) supplied warm hospitality and superb food.

There are just a few aspects, that could be improved from our point of view. We were missing coat hooks in the entrance area and towel bars in the bathrooms. But besides that, all was perfectly fine.

We loved the peaceful area around the estate itself. The ladies onsite were very kind and attentive. Our kids loved the dogs and cats and the individual swimming pool. The were enough towels available and the service was really, really great. The rooms offered sufficient size and comfort for our family of six persons. The host was super responsive and friendly and took great effort to provide the best solutions to our open questions during the stay. And finally, we fell in love with the wonderful vederi olive oil 😃

Nothing, everything is perfect

The location was private and the nature surrounding the property was beautiful. The villa was fully equiped, the beds very comfortable and the shower was perfect. We had our own private swimming pool which was cleaned every day. We loved everything and will be back for sure.

We had an excellent stay - the villa not only met our expectation but exceeded them. The villa gives you privacy to relax surrounded by nature away from the hassle and bustle of the tourist crowded areas however it's close to good restaurants (some even deliver!), shops and only 10 min away from Rethymno. The photos don't do justice to the place! The whole villa complex has been built in harmony with nature and surrounding areas - the olive tree next to our pool was around 500 years old!! George has been a great and attentive host with excellent communication throughout - great tips for places to visit and restaurants. We followed his advice and it never disappointed. The whole team works behind the scenes to ensure you have an amazing stay, all whilst they barely make themselves seen so that you have the privacy to enjoy yourself.

Beautiful location, villa was lovely and extremely clean. Cleaning lady met us but host sent us so many helpful messages of info - restaurants directions taxi companies etc, he even recommended a local lady who came to the villa to do our covid tests for flying home. Every question answered so quickly and such great recommendations. Villa next to a lovely village called Prines where there was amazing tavernas (The olive was our favourite) and this was an easy walk away about 20 minutes. 25 minute drive to most beaches and Rethymno as well as Lake Korunas. All bedrooms had air con and were cool at night. Kitchen well equipped, pool lovely. We want to come back next year and would recommend to anyone

Large and comfortable, totally secluded and quiet, at the edge of a small village. Attention to the smallest detail, beautiful nature all around. It was marvellous to meet George, the owner, and we had every need met, too. You definitely need a car to go in and out, can't really walk anywhere, so be aware of that. Only 15 minutes drive from the center of Rethimno and the beach. Would love to come back for a longer stay, we were so lucky to have found this place on Booking.

Nothing is within walking distance so a car is a must (but shops and restaurants are only a few minutes in a car) Lots of ants internal as well as external Quite dark internally Garden could be pruned a little more to prevent plants encroaching on pool area.

Poor water pressure in the shower and lack of sound insulation between the bedrooms. Even whispering was clearly heard in the other rooms
