Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomAt night the singing from a bar in the square kept us awake for a while on the first night (a Tuesday), and in the morning the scrapping of the tables and chairs from the cafe woke me up at 7.15 everyday as I think we were directly overhead.
Unique decor, lovely food in the cafe downstairs, helpful staff, spa treatments on site, centrally located, beautiful rooftop seating area but sadly was maybe not in full use when we visited (early May) as no staff or other people were up there and the lights were always turned off. I can imagine it is stunning in high season though.

United KingdomNothing it was perfect!
Breakfast menu was amazing, especially served at n the bistro with stunning interior design. Service excellent and staff so friendly. We were in the blue and white room, with a view over the mosque. Roof terrace fabulous views across the old town and sea. The Moroccan themed lanterns and lights throughout produced wonderful patterns on the walls and made for a exotic atmosphere. Literally 10 minutes walk to the main square, the location is great for getting around the old city. We loved the stay and would definitely come again.

AustraliaNothing - it was perfect.
Absolutely beautiful little boutique hotel. I stayed in the honeymoon suite but it was very reasonable, just 50 metres from the main square in old town Rhodes. The room was charmingly themed, easy to access and above a lovely little cocktail/wine bar which did breakfast also. Newly renovated bathroom - could not have been happier. Will not even look anywhere else next time I’m back. Loved it.

United KingdomNothing ......wish we could have stayed longer.
This hotel is simply stunning. The historic building has been restored beautifully and the rooms are gorgeous and unique. And the bonus was each room was a generous size, and a separate bathroom. You are right in the middle of the action as you step straight out onto the streets of the old town. We found it pretty quiet despite this, however we were there early April and later in season it may be noisy? The breakfast was one of the best I have had, and we travel alot! If are visiting Rhodes old town I highly recommend a night or two here - no pool for kiddies or other facilities, but a perfect Boutique hotel.

GreeceThe room was amazing!! We became friends with the owner and the rest of the stuff who were all very friendly, helpful and gave the best tips for exploring the beauty of the island as well as the best restaurants to visit. The location was great and although a 1 minute wall from the hot/busy area during night time where most of the bars are located, you could not hear a thing from your room.

United KingdomThe hotel is really thoughtfully and beautifully decorated, making the rooms very comfortable and calming. The roof terrace is a gorgeous space to relax as well at any time of the day. It was in a great location in the Old Town, and a short walk to the harbour, and to loads of excellent bars and restaurants. The staff were all amazing - friendly, helpful and made us so very welcome. The food and drinks at the Bistro were out of this world, and we found ourselves gravitating back to the Bistro throughout our stay as a result. I would recommend this place to anyone, and will definitely stay again when I return to Rhodes.

AustraliaBeautiful, clean and luxurious rooms in the perfect location to explore Rhodes town. I would highly recommend staying here, not only is the accommodation fantastic (and even better than what you see in the pictures), there is great breakfast, food, coffee and cocktails at the Decan Bistro and a beautiful rooftop where you can relax, have a drink and enjoy the view of old town Rhodes. George, his family and team always go above and beyond to make the stay amazing. Highly recommend staying here.

United KingdomBathroom facilities were slighly dated, but otherwise everything was perfect.
Amazing location right in the middle of the old town, close to restaurants, shops and only 15 mins from the beach. Staff were super friendly and accomodating and cocktails at the bistro were delicious. Room was exactly as pictured - clean and cosy, perfect for our two night stay. Beautiful rooftop bar was an added bonus!

OmanThe place was well designed and incorporated the history of Rhodes Old Town. The roof top terrace with the Ottoman Mosque was amazing and also gave a nice view of Rhodes Old Town. The Bistro attached to the accommodation was one of the highlights - great food; with healthy options - try the house pancakes very nice - but the icing on the cake was the owner’s amazing generosity and kindness - George you were amazing - Zahra and I are grateful for all you did. We will be back
