How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

the terrace was at the back of the house, it was constantly burned by the sun, so we couldn't go out on the terrace until 20:30 o'clock, they should put up an awning to protect from the sun so the terrace can be used.
it was very clean, the staf was great, it was in a good location, close to the centar and to the beach.

Short of equipment in the kitchen.
The Villa Eleni is a relatively new facility with a very likable and nice interior. The two single beds studio was enough large and comfortable. The cleanliness is at a high level, The hosts are offering to change the bed linen and towels every second days. The place was pretty much peaceful and quiet, ideal for a good vacation. In general the position of the Villa Eleni in Paralia is in a part of the town which is easy accessible and enough far and well isolated from the noisy center. In the whole surrounding there is enough space for parking cars and the access to the beautiful beach is pretty much easy. From Villa Eleni to the center of Paralia you need about 12-15 minutes by walking depending of the speed. If you go by car it will be a problem to find a free park place near the center. For going on the nearest beach, you need about 4-6 minutes by walking and about 2-3 minutes by car.

There was no mosquito net on the balcony door and windows. The WC lid was often closing by itself (falling down), because it couldn't be opened fully (this is how it was mounted).
It is a nice place to stay. The room was clean and there was big balcony. The hosts are polite. It is In a quiet area, but still relatively close to the town and a beach that is big and not crowded (compared to the one in front of the city center).

I just can't find a single thing to fault about this accommodation or the staff. The room was spotless clean and I mean clean so for me this was a fabulous start, all the staff are so nice and helpful. The air con was a real welcome bonus in that heat, the shower was fabulous, the lovely white towels and the comfortable bed all made for a very comfortable pleasant stay. We have only to thank the staff for everything and we certainly can't wait to stay there again next year.

Greek bathrooms are a little bit less equipped than hungarians, but we known this 😁
The view and the location was brilliant. The beach and shops are close to the apartman. (Aprox 10 minute walk). The staff was very helpful and kind. Anything what we asked for, we got it immediately.

Reception area was kind of loud and it was a bit problematic to put a baby to sleep. We chose this property to be outside town center area and to be quiet, but nearby restaurant in another property was often loud after 1 am.
Hotel owner replaced immediately after i spoke with them old shower head which has become terrible from use. Great response.

We had hot water but when you tried to shower it would be intermittent between super hot and super cold. Not always a fun experience. Wifi was a disaster. super slow.
Rooms were large enough and very nice. We even had a large balcony. Clean and comfortable. Even if the hotel is on the very outskirts of Paralia Katerini, the beach was still close enough and it was quick and easy to get into Paralia. Staff was friendly and offered to clean the room (After a few days) but I just accepted new towels and that was it.

Beds are not good for taller people. You will not be able to sleep without bending the knees. You will get only soap for hands, bring everything else. Water pressure was sometines low for showering.
It looks pretty. It is clean and has parking spaces around. Always staff around so you have feeling it is safe.
