That we didn’t stay longer

Absolutely everything there is simply nothing at all not to like. All of the reviews are accurate and we had a fabulous stay. This was a girls holiday for us, seven of us I. total for a belated 50th holiday for me and to say we were looked after is an understatement. Haris responds to messages immediately and there nothing he won’t arrange for you. He booked an amazing and luxurious top of the range mini bus for our transfer for a much better price. One of the girls slept on the sofa bed and he provided a mattress topper for that. We needed a large supermarket shop and he got that delivered for us so we didn’t need to go shopping ourselves. The meat was from a good quality butchers too so it was top notch quality. We didn’t arrive at the villa till 1 in the morning and Haris and his delightful parents were all there to welcome us it was so touching. The warmth of the welcome makes you feel like long lost family. As the other reviews say the fridge is stocked with basics for breakfast and an amazing home cooked meal for lunch. Haris has a wealth of knowledge about local trips and restaurants and everything is close by. The villa itself is stunning and as has also been mentioned the pics don’t do it justice. Every little things been thought about and it spotlessly clean. We also received a delicious cake on the day they come to clean. If you leave any of your clothes out as we did by the pool they will be meticulously folded. I could go on and on and on. I will definitely return and am so glad we found this little gem of a place with such wonderful and caring hosts. We miss you all already. Thank you for making it so memorable for us all. xxx

I will probably never visit a better villa

OK, here's a story: This villa isn't actually a villa. It is an experience. On its photos it seems like too good to be true, and when you arrive it turns out it is times better. The interrior atmosphere can only be absorbed first hand - it somehow has the cosiness of a home and at the same time the modern art vibe stands out as well among a semi-traditional layout. There is the relax area with a TV, there is the reading lounge for a morning coffee, there is the dining area, one of the bedrooms has a direct access to the jacuzzi patio, the kitchen has it all, even an ice maker machine, installed filtration system not only for the drinking water, a good and ample selection of wines, the list goes on. The garden is unbelievable with a pool, jacuzzi, hammock, barbecue, swings, 3 separate seating areas, all under a palm tree - all that serves as both romantic and family suitable ambience depending on the visitors' configuration - the crown jewel of the garden are the lights, and you'd think it's pretty perfect already, but then the sun sets and the lights turn on and it becomes cinematic, like, La La Land level cinematic. The location is also perfect - 100 meters from the beach, 100 meters to nearest store, 100 meters to nearest restaurant, 2 minutes away from the highway with a car.

Absolutely nothiing

I don't know how I can make this short because there were so many amazing points to the stay. The host and his family were amazing and kind. The property itself was outstanding with the night time lighting just adding an amazing feel to the stay. It is a perfect stay for family and kiddies with a generous size pool, basket ball area which the kids loved and Jacuzzi for the night time relaxing! Over the moon with it and will be booking again!

Villa Gala is super equipped with everything you could think of to spend a holiday there. its a place that feels like home from the first day. the location is perfect, close to the highway ramp, close to the sea. I can not thank Haris enough for the service and luxurious treatment he gave to us. at the moment of arrival there was everything to have a dinner and breakfast so we didn’t have to go to the super market right away. many thanks Haris, I am sure we will meet again.

About the only thing missing was a microwave in the kitchen, which would have been useful. It should perhaps also be pointed out that the pool is shared with the villa next door (owned by Haris’ cousin). We had it to ourselves during our stay - which made it even more enjoyable - but really, this is as close to anything negative one could say.

Where holiday accommodation is concerned there are many things to get right. There has to be an element of luxury about it, it needs to be well-equipped and flexible enough to accommodate a broad range of guests and it has to be in the right location with access to local facilities, beaches, bars, restaurants etc, while also offering a degree of privacy. I don’t think my family and I have ever stayed in a place that achieves this balance so perfectly as Villa Gala. It is an absolutely delightful holiday home - made all the more enjoyable by Haris and his family who not only had the imagination to create an elegant, comfortable and ‘playful’ living space, but clearly get real pleasure from making their guests feel welcome in it. There to meet us despite our late arrival, they ensured we had a well-stocked kitchen with plenty of food & drink to last us until we could shop for ourselves. Haris’ mother even prepared a tasty Greek baked dish that easily fed six of us! The kitchen itself is exceptionally well equipped with virtually everything you could possibly need - right down to the espresso coffee and ice-making machines. But as well-designed and comfortable as the villa is, it really comes into its own as an outside space with its pool, hot tub, barbecue area and a huge array of seating, sunbeds, tables & chairs - everything a group or large family might need to enjoy the warm Cretan climate (even in late October!). It is particularly attractive after dark when the imaginative lighting switches on automatically and it is transformed into something quite magical. The nearby village of Bali is very pleasant and inviting with its many restaurants, bars, shops & beaches, but my family were never happier than when we were back at Villa Gala, sitting down to an evening meal prepared on the barbecue, dipping into the hot tub or jumping in the pool. It really is a beautiful, stylish holiday home run by lovely people in a wonderful part of the world.

Clearly, the best location I have stayed in Greece. The arrangement of the terrace, the tasteful details made this holiday a dream come true. The villa is equipped with absolutely everything you need, it is 100m from the beach and shops in Bali. I can't conclude without thanking Harry and his parents, the best hosts I've ever met. Unfortunately I can only give a maximum of 10, but it is worth 10++++ I wholeheartedly recommend and I am convinced that I will return.

This villa is the best place I have ever stayed - I am not lying. The house is really big, each couple had their own bedroom. One of them has an exit to the tarrace. Both bathrooms have a showers. The kitchen is fully equipped. You really do not need to bring anything with you. EVERYTHING is in place, from equipment to coffee filters, straws and other small items. A great advantage is the water filter and the ice maker, which are very useful in hot weather. We got a lot of food in the fridge, as well as beer, wine, champagne and "raki" + a huge bowl of fresh fruits. There is plenty of space to rest in the living room. We can sit on a large sofa against which we have a TV or in another part of the living room, away from the central part, where we find more peace. Outside, we can eat at a table or coffee table on the terrace or at a large table next to the grill. We had charcoal and fire lighter on the spot. There are a lot of space to sit around the jacuzzi and the swimming pool. Sunbeds and umbrellas are really good quality. During the day, the pool is exposed to the sun, so swimming and sunbathing are very pleasant. At evenings we can turn the lights on in the front of the house - colorful lights create a magical atmosphere. We also had from Haris a big blutooth speaker. We can park the car in the villa. There are many goats in the vicinity of the villa that pass by the back gate. It is an amazing sight and contact with nature. The nearest beach is 2 min walk from the villa. We have a sea view from the villa. In the close neighborhood are supermarkets, a lot of shops with souvenirs, restaurants and other beautiful beaches. Haris told us where we can buy a good quality meat and where to eat or which beach to visit. We felt we could contact Haris at any time to ask about something. Even when we did not ask, Haris asked if everything was okay and if there was any help. Oh, I almost forget, one day we got a chocolate cake from him which was SO DELICIOUS!

Most perfect vacation - 10 points. Haris was a wonderful host, he and his parents welcomed us warmly and gave us “the tour”. The house is beautiful decorated, lot of lovely details. Even more wonderful as on the pictures. The master bedroom + bathroom is amazing, the other 2 rooms are cozy as well. The beds are very comfortable. In the kitchen you will find everything needed and more. Coffee machine incl. pads, icecube maker, etc. The fridge was already stocked with Ham, Eggs, Cheese, Water, Wine, Beer, Champagne - and a really big fruit basket. Haris checked in via App every other day if everything is fine or if we would need anything. Towels (also the ones for the pool area) and bedsheets have been changed after 4 days. Outside area was just as beautiful as the house. Lot of different seating areas, big pool (incl. bathrobes), jacuzzi + sea view.
