We had a great time in Kalyves and Villa Georgia, it exceeded our expectations. The location of the hotel was perfect, just a few minutes from the beach, restaurants and shops. The hotel was the most relaxing place (there are “quiet hours” in the afternoon which we appreciated), we had a big room with ocean views and a small kitchen so we could have breakfast in our balcony every morning. And a nice and clean swimming pool. The host Valia, made sure that we had an amazing stay, she was incredibly caring and friendly. Simply perfect, thank you Valia, we can’t wait to go back!

To be honest I didn’t find anything I don’t like it.

Everything was great!The host Vali is so friendly helpful.When I met her I feel like we know each other long time.She is always doing more she has to.All my family and friend we spend holiday with was so happy and enjoyed the stay.The apartment was spotless clean and comfortable.Its great location,all shops You need in the village walking distance,great tavernas,coffe shops and of course very clean beach and sea. Some single beds were a little uncomfortable. Only one small pillow per bed. Basic kitchen. A bit noisy with motorbikes in the early hours in the summer. Take earplugs but only a little thing.

The location and friendly host. Lovely pool and nice apartment with a nice view of Kalyves beach and the sea. Clean beds and kitchen and host returned regularly to clean.

Location is fantastic with stunning views of the ocean and only a short walk to the beach and restaurants. Our room had high ceilings and was very spacious. Valeria was super helpful and accommodating when we needed something.

The apartments are located in a very quiet location but a short walk from the beach and short walk to a bus stop if you want to go to the city. The host (Valia)is very experienced and it is very important to her that you enjoy your holiday. Any queries I had where dealt with in the same way a hotel receptionist might help although as Valia has been hosting so long she is able to help you more. The apartments are attractive, clean and well cared for and are thoughtfully equipped with anything you might need. The view from the balcony is stunning and although there are a lot of local restaurants one of my favourite evenings was when we ate on our balcony watching the beautiful sunset. I would definitaly recommend a stay here if you are looking for a peaceful getaway.

The host Valia is super nice, she helped us with everything: from kids toys to extra towels or washing clothes. In our apartment we had amazing terrace with beautiful view on the sea. The sea is super clean and perfect for little kids and also adults with sandy beaches and clean water. We found several tasty restaurants for the dinners just 100 m from our apartment with very good prices and tasty sea food. The most comfortable place we have been in the Crete. Can only recommend.

Our apartment at Villa Georgia was wonderful. Clean and tidy - 2 balconies, one with an amazing sea view. The pool was a welcome extra. The location was perfect with just a short walk to the beach and the many tavernas which all served great food. Our host Valia was friendly and helpful, we will definitely be visiting again!

Our host Valia was amazing! Helpful, sweet and made us feel very warmly welcome at Villa Georgia <3 The apartment was cosy and had a beautiful sea view, it was very clean too. Well equipped kitchen for making breakfast. A short walk to the beach, cafes and restaurants was nice too! Highly recommended! :-)

The weather! It was cold and windy (I appreciate this is out of anyone´s control)

The villa was very close to the beach, supermarkets and tavernas so on a windy October day I didnt have to walk far! It was very easy to catch the bus into Chania for sightseeing and, if I was to have hired a car it was very central for a lot of locations.

Water pressure was low but this will be rectified by next season. This only applied to the top floor accommodation.

Good location a short walk from the beach. A lovely view over Souda Bay and the bonus of a second balcony. The owner was very helpful and even gave us some watermelon and some freshly baked banana bread!

We spent a week at Villa Georgia, as a family with teenagers - everyone would love to return! Reality was even better than pictures :) cosy rooms with a sea view and private pool. Out of the way, but just 2 min walk from the beach and numerous tavernas. Olive grove just beyond the wall. Very clean, room service daily, towels and linens changed every other day. A welcome breakfast package and fresh watermelon :) Valeria, the housekeeper is very communicative and responsive. She helped us with airport transfer and organized a great sighseeing tour for us.

The balcony was in the sun most of the day, getting extremely hot in the afternoon, so difficult to enjoy staying out during the hottest time of the day. The upper part of the apartment gets quite hot during the day, so the air conditioning must be on before the night to be able to get a pleasant temperature. A bit too basic equipped kitchen if one is into eating at home breakfast and some light lunch, as we were. Very small shower place without curtain, which makes the bathroom get wet all over when showering.

Very nice location, very close to the beach, getting there down a hill on 2-3 minutes to the beautiful sandy beach, with trees providing shade and also umbrellas and chairs, tavernas right on the beach. Great for a quick morning swim before the kids woke up. Spacious apartment with place for many people (we were 5 but there were 6 beds). As mentioned, very pleasant and friendly host that came with suggestions on nice activities in the area, like lake Kournas that we enjoyed a lot. She also helped us order a great birthday cake from a local bakery and offered it to us and also delivered it from the bakery home. Beautiful view from the balcony over the sea that one can enjoy in the morning and evening.

Valia is the most warm-hearted and helpful host. Shes more than you can ever imagine! Breakfast was delicious. She wanted to know what we liked the most and made customised breakfast every morning for us. She helped us with everything without asking. The Villa was absolutely shiny and clean! Thank you Stella. Pool was almost like a private. Location was great and the view from our balcony (room 4) was beautiful. We had so relaxing and wonderful holiday at Villa Georgia with our 1 year old baby. Amazing location. We had a sunset view from the terrace and a sea view from every room. It was very close to the beach, just along a beautiful path. Very friendly host, even left us breakfast for our first morning.
