Our top floor Deluxe Suite with terrace and a sea view was perfect for our 6 nights on Amorgos. A good double bed, kitchen with hot plate, a sandwich toaster, fridge, electric jug and a coffee maker. Air conditioning in the bedroom, wardrobe, safe, side table, TV and a compact bathroom with a great shower. Our room was serviced & had the bins emptied daily which was a nice touch and the bed changed after 3 nights. Out side our private terrace had views directly over the bay, a large sun bed, small table & 2 chairs & a clothes drying rack. Plenty of space outside to relax. The port less than a minute away as is the supermarket. The bus station is a 5 - 6 minutes walk - check the timetable (buy the tickets on the bus).

A little bit of confusion as to what room we had booked but the problem was very quickly resolved.

The fabulous location, right in the centre of Katapola, the fabulous roof garden with amazing views. Our host came to meet us when our ferry arrived and was super helpful throughout the stay.

Very close proximity to port, restaurants, shops etc yet quiet and calm setting surrounded by antiquity and lush planting. Stylish interior and common parts with high standards of finish in a (presumed) converted building. An excellent base for exploring this beautiful island.

Katapoliani 1 is a property of multiple rooms. We were given a room situated right on a walkway which felt very cramped and dark with no windows with a ‘view’ and none you could leave open as when the door is open people walking by can see straight in and the bed. The photographs on the literature and booking.com which draw you in to the property are only reflective of one of the rooms and are misleading. Only that room has a lovely terrace and sea view. Before pressing ‘book’ double check the photos of the room you will get to avoid disappointment. The owner did move us to another of her properties 800m from the port which was much better but involved a fairly rough walk as we didn’t have a car.

The wind.....

We had the room on the roof which had a great roof terrace overlooking the harbour. It is 5 minutes from the ferry and the stairs to the roof take some getting used to.A reasonable sized room with great bed and shower, we didn't need to cook. We enjoyed our stay.

The location was great, right next to the port and walking distance to many restaurants and cafés. Excellent to be based and move to the rest of the island from there. Apartment was cleaned every day and had a cute little balcony to chill. The host picked us up from the ferry and gave us all the information we needed about the island. Thank you so much!

A fabulous place to stay, close to everything in Katapola. Communication from the host was fabulous, ensuring I had a lovely stay. Easy to find but tucked off the main seafront Rd. The room was stylish, comfortable and very clean. I had a really great stay and will be back again, definitely. I couldn't have asked for more.

Room size was tight for long distance traveller luggage and stairs up to room a challenge.

The spacious roof top terrace with habour view was great, room well equiped fitting a lot into a small space.

We have received a room that was very small. The rooms shown on the pictures are much larger. It had hardly any place for the luggage and the bathroom was very tight. Our room was not the same room as shown in our booking. The terrace shown in the pictures on booking is only for private use. This is also not clearly communicated on booking - that was a pitty. We expected something different.

The accommodation is very close to the port (1 minute to walk), the room was very quite, the manager and staff were very friendly, the rooms are clean.
