How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

It is very close to the beach, in a street full with nice hotels, restaurants, shops. The best are the hosts, Lefteris and Vasso welcomed us as their family. They are utmost kind, warm hearted and helpful.

Hosts are so friendly and helpful, always on hand if anything was needed. Immaculately clean apts. The location is great for beach and cafes.bars restaurants. Excellent food, snacks and bar. Lovely chill out area for daytime or evening drinks etc.

Amazing property, staff are exceptional, nothing is too much trouble. Great location, 2 mins to beach & surrounded by shops, bars, restaurants & supermarket within walking distance. Pool area is exceptionally clean as are the rooms. Comfortable beds, great shower & self catering facilities are good.

I liked everything.
We had a wonderful stay with our family at Villa Stella. The managers and the staff were very friendly and hospitable. The apartments were clean and well equipped. The pool was very nice for the kids.

Everything was great. The owner and the staff were extremely kind, polite, professional, helpful and attentive. Any time we needed something they assisted us shortly. The apartment was well equipped, towels were changed every second day while they cleaned up as well. While staying indoors, even with the windows open it was calm and quiet. They offer extra service if asked and their bar is really nice as well. We were well informed and given tips for our trips and our staying. Would recommend them 100%!

Nothing we had a very good time
Lovely host. Great area and place was very clean. Bar tenders very nice and friendly and willing to give information on places to visit if you asked them. They also brought water to the sun beds for u. All in lovely place to stay and would recommend

Very friendly staff and hosts. All requests was answered. Hotel have no it's own parking but in a 20-30 meters i always was able to find place on free parking. Nice but thin beach in 1 minute of walk. Barbecue was available to use. We had a room on a last floor, so in the room was really quiet without neiborhoods :)

Having to leave 😕
I can't recommend this hotel enough, I've stayed in various places in Stalis and always had good things to say about them, there is something different about my stay here though, the care the staff show is beautiful, and genuine. There are little details such as refreshments brought to you at the pool because they want to, fairy liquid and sponges provided in the apartment, toilet rolls too. The apartment and all the areas at Villa Stella are kept impeccably clean and pretty with beautiful roses and other flowers everywhere, the apartments are spacious, comfortable and well kept, clean sheets and towels every other day. The breakfasts/food is lush too, and a bonus..probably one of the cheapest in Stalis. The family and staff are so lovely and can't do enough to make your stay the best it can be. Defo recommend this place and I will be staying here again.

There is nothing not to like
Arrived almost 2 in the morning I was met by the owner she's wonderful warm and friendly and very helpful I had left a bag in the taxi and she helped me sort everything out I have stayed at this apartment before and I will always stay again all the staff are wonderful and you're made to feel welcome and they really care about you and ask you each day if there's anything else that you need

Kitchen area is small but thats the case all over in Greece in my experience. Ok to do breakfast and a snack. YOu are on holiday...eat out!
Booked last minute. Owner emailed me straightway. Sorted out two rooms together as I requested. Very friendly when I arrived and always on hand to give advice about the resort. Apartments and complex were spotlessly clean. Beach is down a path exactly opposite the apartments. Mixture of grass and sand. Great location and cheap sun beds. Bars were a minutes walk away. The lady at the pool was lovely. Always bring round iced water. A great stay and would recommend.

The werent enough outlets in the apartment, replacing the single outlets with double ones would be great. The Wifi signal was weak and oue phones would disconnect from it in some parts of the apartment, which was on the second floor.
The staff was very pleasant, the location was great, with the beach only a 2 min walk. The apartment was cleaned and towels were replaced every two days.
