The villa was beautiful and spotlessly clean. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating when we asked to check out a bit later due to an evening flight. They also supplied plenty of food and drinks on arrival, including home baked cakes and pastries, which meant we didn't have to rush out to a supermarket at 9pm. Every effort was made to ensure our holiday was lovely.

A big terrace with morning sun, overviewing olive trees and far below seeing the ocean was an awesome start in the day. Great pool. Great house. Great hosts.

Amazing place, well-equipped villa with beautiful views to the sea. The pool was great, and the location was peaceful although within a few minutes’ drive to the nearest town with lots of shops and tavernas. The owners are some of the loveliest people we have ever met in our travels, treated us like family, left us with a stocked fridge and even gifted us olive oil upon departure. Thank you for a lovely stay, Harry and Xara! We will definitely be back as soon as possible :)

The hosts Chara and Chari were very friendly. Over and above what we expected. The cake, fruit and items in the fridge and bathroom was a pleasant surprise. The villa is very private and the pool the best thing in the hot weather. Location ideal near Agia Marina and every restaurant we ate at in the area was superb. Location was brilliant.

Nothing about the villa was negative. There are some cockerels in the local area that you can hear in the am if you are a light sleeper - but the villa and hosts were great

All was good!

The owners and their hospitality made an exceptional property an ‘out of this world’ property. Even though we arrived late, they were there to meet us and present their property to us which they are obviously extremely proud of - And so they should be!. The properties elevation commands lovely views over the sea, yet it is only a very short distance from it and all of the restaurants, shops and supermarkets you could want. What was so nice was that the owners stocked the fridge with the essentials including water, wine and raki! But was was even nicer were the homemade cakes, pastries and biscuits that were all consumed far too quickly!

There was a rooster outside our bedroom that was loud in the morning but other than that, it was fun having chickens right outside :)

Amazing location and amazing villa with the nicest view. The hosts were excellent and friendly. No complaints as such, everything was amazing..

Hard to write any negatives but if I had to I would say the shower was on the small side for anyone of any height or width. This is almost an oxymoron but the cleaning was almost too good! We stayed for 10 days and had 2 deep cleans for our stay, would have been happy with less cleaning to save the hosts some work!

The property was lovely and welcoming. The living area was a nice big space and the outdoor area had amazing views and facilities. The pool, bbq area and views were incredible but the table tennis was a huge hit! The hosts were so incredibly welcoming and after a long day of travelling had bits in the fridge which made our arrival so much easier. The location for Agia Marina was perfect, far enough out the way for some peace and quiet but also only a 10 minute walk to bars and restaurants. Would happily recommend!!

This villa is exceptional. I spent a week here with my 3 children. The house is beautiful- clean, wonderfully decorated with stunning views. Most amazing of all however are the owners Harry and Xara. Charming, kind - they couldn’t do enough to help. The fridge was full of delicious home cooked food when we arrived and the whole house was cleaned and sheets changed halfway through our stay. The pool was immaculate, bbq, hammock, table tennis … The beach is walking distance and has some excellent restaurants and bars. We took the bus that goes from the end of the road into lovely Chania town on a couple of evenings - it couldn’t have been easier. I will definitely return!!

Peaceful location but easy access to beach and restaurants. An absolutely beautiful house in a delightful corner of Crete. It really did look as beautiful as the pictures - with an idyllic pool and every comfort (including great wifi and air con). We travelled with our 7 year old daughter, who loved it just as much. Our hosts were incredibly helpful and had stocked the fridge full of local goodies for our arrival - a real delight to avoid the supermarket after a long journey, and there was a little shop 5 mins walk away where we picked up the (very few!) extras we needed that week. It was around 10-15 mins walk down to Agia Marina where there were lots of great dinner options, and it was nice to be able to stroll out in the evening - when we could tear ourselves away from the amazing views. A wonderful holiday!
