We went in October at the end of the season, so the pool was a little chilly for us tbh but it did not detract from the otherwise PERFECT holiday. I realyl cannot say anything bad about it.

We went in October with a 7year old girl so 3 of us Loved the food, it was wonderful in the main restaurant and the seating areas outside were so pretty We didn't try the upstairs restaurant Elios as the main one was just perfect We had a birthday evening at the Lower restaurant Rhodies, it was heaven! it was out 7yo's 7th birthday so they erealy looked after us + added balloons + put candles on a cake for her! so special. We stayed in the upper area + it was just beautiful Breakfast was amazing We chose all-inclusive + felt that that was just perfect for our break. Staff were AMAZING Service was AMAZING The kids' club was AMAZING - small and perfect, it felt boutique + not crowded and so far away from the tacky view I had of a kids club (we'd never used one before) + Anna was so good as their children's entertainer, no booking is needed just turn up and your child can come and go timing-wise. We booked a 2-bed kitchenette (only used to make tea as all-inclusive was amazing!) and I have to say the pics do NOT do the room justice! 2 terraces! just lush. Booking a hire car was so simple + easy breezy too at reception We will be back!!

The temperature of the pool was extremely cold. The bed could have been comfier. It would have been good if the restaurant or snack bar was open later for late arrivals etc. Location lends itself to more cloud cover (at least towards the end of season when we went)

The room was a very good size and had all amenities required. The general cleanliness of the room and hotel areas was very good. Good restaurant options with unlimited A La Carte visits for the all inclusive package, including a breakfast option. The staff were lovely. The drinks on offer within the all inclusive package were very nice (Sweet paths were the stand-out). We appreciated the free shuttle bus to take you down into town / the beach. Overall, it is an extremely good value hotel.

We only tried the Elia, but was very disappointed with the plates, quality of the fish and meat as well as the plate composition. Wine selection in the shop could be expanded somewhat. The guy to took photos and sold them at break fast was not up front with the deal he offered, changed it when we asked for one photo (that was not possible to buy he said after saying the one picture was 10 euros) and it created an uncomfortable sitation. We found him rude and oddly defensive and didn't buy.

We loved almost everything about the place, the service in the reception, the baggage-service guys, the apartment exceeded our expectations, stunning views all over, great cleaning, the pool that was beautifully placed in at the base of a small grass hill, the atmosphere and interior ind entrence hall, the bar/cafe by the pool, the tennis and fitness room, beautiful yoga area and not the least - the Cat cafe <3. All in all atmosphere, service and facilities were exactly what we dreamed of. We went with our kids of 11 and 12 and they loved the the resort and area as much as we did. We went on many day trips and didn't eat much at the restaurant, but we will try Rodes next time :-D

Everything was great exept the pool/restaurant framed working hours and a long distance road from lobby to hotel room/parking. Be ready to not forget any things at your room.

Great location, reminded me of Italian agriturismo, very beautiful nature, cicadas was singing 24/7..:) we had a beautiful sea view room with a balcony.

The food wasn’t exceptional at the buffet, next time we would not go half board as the local restaurants are reasonably priced and much more tasty. The childcare (kids club) was really not good at first, then they changed staff and got better.

Great amenities, nice staff and a great place to relax. Good for families. The beach they partner with is also very nice, and free of charge (including transport). Rooms are clean and spacious, well equipped and isolated.

The location as it was away from the busy Hersonisos just 10 mins in a car. It was like a retreat where you can relax and has a good programme of entertainment some nights Staff are welcoming friendly and attentive and nothing is too much trouble The junior suite was spacious simple and stylish with a view of the sea and the town below The buffet restaurant has a very good variety of dishes for both breakfast and evening meals The resort is spotless and gardens beautiful with the scent of all the flowers lingering into the evening The two pool areas are well maintained and located near restaurants and the bars There wasn’t anything I disliked about the property

- bed could be more comfortable (including too big pillows), deserts weren't our fav, but that's good for us (too sweet and all similar, in honey or like wedding cake); bathroom, doors, Ac controls and wardrobes could be renovated in near future but it was all clean. I think I was able to smell the sewage a few times in the bathtub. Is there a siphon?

+ views, Specious apartment with a kitchen and terrace, sports activities, village planning, architecture, and design, greenery, safety, staff - all 10/10 I like the general simple plaster style and the lovely textile selection. The village concept in a lush garden is probably our dreamy solution.

The wonderful staff and quiet location, even though the resort was busy, it never felt noisy or over crowded. The food and facilities were all perfect.

Dinner had lots of options but similar on a daily basis, cant fault the taste and variety of food available on the dinner buffet, it was epic. It would be nicer to have the resort buggys to transport guests to their rooms. We found a lovely buggy driver, George who would drop us whenever he would see us walking

The room was lovely and comfortable, the only downside was that it was far from the main hotel restaurant and main facilities. the Staff were excellent. Breakfast had lots of lovely and yummy options.. We arrived and were given discounted dinner for 3 days which was a treat. The pool and other facilities were always clean and spot on. Best was the shuttle service to the beach and town center , we used it almost daily. The wakeup call and arrangement of calling a taxi just in time to get to the airport was good. They were so kind that we were given 4 boxes full of breakfast to take to airport at 6am. This resort really cares for their guests.

The only thing I would say is security-wise our 3 year old could open the main door from inside (even when locked) & get out which I was slightly worried about as she was in the downstairs room/us upstairs, although having said this she didn’t do this at night!

Very spacious, well equipped. Great to have 2 baths in bathrooms for the kids. Air con throughout. 2 balconies. Only a few mins walk from the main bar & restaurant!

Price of the drinks when not all inclusive were quite high but the mini market is well stocked and the bus stops at the supermarket if you need more supplies.

Village Heights is very much a family friendly hotel with friendly staff and great facilities. The food was very tasty with a mix of local food (with European options). The yoga and stretching classes were great to start the day. Apartments have everything you need for travelling with a wee one too. Hotel provides a free shuttle down to the town (personally wouldn't bother with the new town but you are able to ask the driver to stop at the old town which is much nicer with better food options). The hotel would also organise a taxi with a car seat if you need it.

While the evening entertainment was very good, the sessions could've been a little longer. No left handed putters for mini golf. Maybe a higher fence for volleyball court to allow for the occasional loose shot! Games room a little small.

Two bedroom apartment with 2 separate terraces was lovely. Bedrooms are very comfortable with plenty of storage. Kitchen well equipped, including a clothes airer and iron/ironing board. Volleyball and aqua aerobics were excellent. All staff were friendly and helpful. The Cretan breakfast at Rodies was fantastic. Pool areas well managed with plenty of shade options. Good opening hours for the shop. Loved the plant and tree variety throughout the complex, along with the herb garden at Rodies.

The grounds maintenance and room maintenance has slipped from last year

the general facilities are spacious and good; the restaurants are also good and the ability to purchase meal packages for a few days is excellent

Buffet breakfast and dinner were great but I would have liked a wider variety of authentic Greek food. It was very tailored to a European crowd. Bigger parasols around the swimming pools. It was hard to find shaded areas at times

Staff were amazing. Wide variety of activities and restaurants Partnership with Beachcomber Bar at Stolis Beach (we loved it) Our family room (and especially the terrace) was amazing.

The only thing that came as a bit of a surprise was the inconsistency of the freshness of vegetables and fruits. Other than that, everything was delicious, and the service was great. I would still recommend.

Appreciated the green areas but the gardens could have been better taken care of.

We really enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere at the resort. Nice cottages, pool areas and restaurants. The cottage we rented was very comfortable and fully kitted. As golfers we also appreciated the short distance to the Crete Golf Course.

The only thing that I'd change would be to open the pool earlier than 10am.

The suite was amazing, there's always something to do at the resort, all the food is delicious and the staff are fantastic! A special mention to Irini at the front desk who always goes above and beyond.

Excellent hotel with nice view, very comfortable hotel with nice swimming pools and other attractions for the whole family. Staff super friendly. Very good food. I would like to come back to this hotel. We spend there our faily holiday and we were very glad that we chose this hotel. I will recommend it to anyone coming to Crete.
