Excellent staff, room, food and facilities. Quiet location but plenty to do. Staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. Spa and pool were wonderful. Happy to see the cat cafe!

Directional road signage for Village Heights could be improved from the new Nation road. It was our first stay and we came by car close to dark.

Staff efficient, helpful and warm welcome. We booked half-board and extended our stay to 10 days (from 5). The hotel obviously takes great pride in their buffet food and presentation - the chef(s) should be congratulated for their "wellness" giving and varied, wholesome choices - for all tastes. Vegetarian particulary. The deserts were a pleasurable experience. The massage spa sorted my husband's long-term shoulder stiffness and these facilities have a beautiful pool for a private swim (booking required), in the lower atrium. The grounds conceived/planted in 2006 are very eco modern, with native drought-resistant plants and shrubs. An earthy environment, with many birds. The independant apartments were very livable with views towards the big island. The golf-buggy service was prompt and invaluable for my disabled husband -and introduced greater flexibility for our apartment location on the site.

Two awesome pools, but why come to Crete with so many beaches and spend too much time at the pool. Snack bar and restaurant were good. Staff was exceptional. Kind, courteous and professional. Great location well maintained resort.

Only a small negative detail in the fact that each day the room's waste bins were emptied, and the room floors only swept with a brush, and then not wet mopped afterwards to give an hygenic clean, unlike other resorts which we have stayed in.

Well equipped spacious modern apartment with free wi-fi and several tv channels for different languages. On arrival there was a bottle of water and bottle of local rose wine, which was very appreciated. Within the Resort there is a small shop and library, two pool areas with poolside places to eat, onsite restaurants, and a SPA and health area. There is also a regular courtesy bus to take you into the nearest town of Hersonissos, taking about half an hour, as the Resort is somewhat out on a limb. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the overall Resort clean and tidy.

The Wi-Fi connection could have been better.

We liked the pool, tennis court, kids club and the restaurant. Everything was well thought, for example possibility to do laundry on your own for those guests that were staying longer.

This hotel is outstanding. Beautiful grounds and location with a magnificent view. Lots of things to do in the resort and out of it. Great apartments and super helpful and friendly staff. We loved our stay here! Great location just outside the city which is what we were looking for.

Not the hotel's fault - the summer noise of the cicadas everywhere on the island is annoying. There are free shuttles into the city of Chersonissos, but anywhere else requires a car or taxi. Also note that the last shuttle is at 8pm, and taxis are expensive. Would recommend renting a car if staying here.

There are two pools which are both delightful, mini-golf, tennis, volleyball, spa, sauna, gym and games room. Excellent facilities. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The grounds are gorgeous, well-mainted and the views are exceptional. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The stay exceeded all expectations, thank you!

Since the hotel was far away from the sea, I went to the partnering beach club with the hotel shuttle. Unfortunately on the way back the shuttle did not pick us up, which was very frustrating. It’s also a pity that as all inclusive guest you still have to pay everything at the beach club. It would be great, if the shuttle to the beach would go more often and be more reliable. Also would be great to have a (small) selection of foods and drinks that are for free for all inclusive guests. The gym was very small, but very functional. The problem was that it was very hot and had no fresh air. They should open the windows much more often.

Spacious room, beautiful hotel grounds. We booked all inclusive and really enjoyed all the food! Entertainment was a nice bonus. We played tennis, mini golf, went to labyrinth park (all included in price). Beautiful view on the mountains and the sea.

The pool closes at 1800 which is a little early as it is still hot but no real problem.

Rooms are super clean, good size with really good facilities. The most comfortable bed we have ever had in a hotel, villa or lodge. Clean pool, loads of sunbeds so no need to compete with other guests in an early dash to reserve. Towels available at the side of the pool for use whilst swimming/sunbathing. Friendly staff. Access to a room free of charge on the last day should you require it for a shower if departing later in the day. We ate out mainly but from the one bar meal we had the food was lovely.

The gym is extremely modest and doesn't respect the level of the resort. Moreover, the treadmills didn't seem to work properly. Since it's such a superb resort, the cleaning level of the bedroom and bathroom should be higher.

A wonderful place to return to. An astounding beautiful resort, with the best service from the staff. A wide place with great spa and facilities (A tennis court is included). Great food, with lovely theme shows every night (We have been to Greek, Cretan, Italian and Mexican nights). The perfect value for money. A rare place to return to. Probably the best resort in Crete.
