Bathroom shower is small (but typical of Greek properties), no tea towel but perhaps it was forgotten? Maybe the description should say the entrance door is directly opposite the Hotel Avro, down a side street and not on the water front?

Once we found the entrance to the property and negotiated the lift we were pleasantly surprised by the size of the apartment. It was spacious with room for 4 persons in 2 double beds. It was conveniently located to ferries. I was glad I had taken pictures of the instructions re locks/doors provided by the owner as it could be tricky without. Owner was quick to reply to our question about why the internet dropped out. The unit had all amenities needed for an overnight stay and the owner allowed us a late checkout - that was really appreciated. Thankyou.

This is not a complaint. My parents are elderly and they found the beds a little low.

The apartment was very clean and well stocked. Although it is not on the ground floor, there was a clean working elevator. The location is perfect. It is situated opposite the port with a beautiful view. I would highly recommend.

The downstairs door was unexpectedly locked when we tried to leave for early ferry so we had to run back upstairs to get key, unlock, then run back to leave key in flat again. All fine in the end!

Perfect for a short stay, there were 5 of us and the teenagers used the sofa beds which all worked out fine. It’s really convenient for catching an early ferry. Good communication and instructions for finding the apartment. Clean and comfortable, with a cute little balcony.

• The door/window to the balcony doesn’t leak completely to the wall. This might be a big problem. When I grabbed the handle, I could move the door there and back. It just doesn’t stick and it should be repaired as soon as possible. This is also the reason why we can hear almost everything from the outside when we sleep. • Also, the curtain in the shower was not very clean. I got irritated when it accidentally touched my skin in the shower. I hope it will be washed more often. • The TV controller was really difficult to use. Some buttons didn’t react immediately. Also, for us as tourists, it was difficult to use the TV in only Greek language, as we tried to switch to English but it only offered Greek.

• I was surprised that the apartment itself was truly modern and big. It was very cozy and I almost felt like home there. • I liked the coffee machine, small fridge with bottled water and milk. Kitchen supplies were great, also coffee, tea etc. Really sweet. • The shower also had a shower gel in it. • Beautiful view from the balcony to the port. • TV with connection to wifi - and Youtube.

It's not that I didn't like it, only a heads up: don't forget to read the instructions from the room, so that you turn on the electric boiler.

The wifi wasn't working but the host did come and troubleshoot the problem after trying to fix it over messages. The shower hanger was absent but it was a Sunday and they weren't able to get it fixed.

The property is in a great location. Very walkable and lots of restaurants nearby. Close to the Ferry if thats what you need. The host was responsive and available to help.

The bathroom was the only thing that let it down. The shower wall attachment had broken off so we had to hold the shower in our hands. There also seemed to be a blockage in the drain in the bathroom floor as there was stagnant water sitting in it. Lastly, it would be nicer if the cleaning equipment (mop and bucket, etc.) were kept in a cupboard rather than in the bathroom. If all of this could be fixed it would be a great apartment :)

The location was great for the ferry port. Communication with the property management before arrival was excellent and they were very helpful with information about buses to the airport.
