It’s no fault to the place since it’s out of nature’s control, and is strictly personal to me since I am a mosquito magnet; but it’s expected at night, I just have to come prepared next time.

The location and the place itself situated atop a cliff with access down to a small rocky beach and multiple viewing spots was really nice. The unit we stayed in was really homey, comfortable, clean, and tastefully decorated. The gardens and common spaces are beautifully landscaped and arranged. With ample parking space when you opt to rent a car to see the rest of the island. But just staying within Vrachokipos is a holiday on its own. Even with others staying in the compound of apartments, you can always find a nice area to congregate with your group, or by yourself, soak in the view, and just chill. The hosts are very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating.

I do like to cook and the kitchen was a bit basic, but I expect they think most people will eat out most of the time which is fair enough

The room was well equipped with everything I needed. The bed was comfortable, the balcony was private and calm and the room offered beautiful views out to the ocean. The facilities were excellent, rustic yet beautiful with so many nooks to peacefully spend time in. There were many options for loungers, sun/shade, lots of areas to get in the sea and there was no noise pollution. The staff were warm, approachable and friendly. They were super helpful. The space was quiet, I couldn’t hear other guests from my room and there was no noise of traffic. Just the sound of the waves and birds. It was heavenly.

Frankly I loved it too much to even think in those terms. Yes there are always ‘niggles’ but this place is about a spirit, well being, being relaxed, open. And not being a pain. So there.

This is neither a hotel nor a bnb - it’s something in between that doesn’t try to be anything but what it is. A really cool, comfy, quirky, unusual and special place to be. There are so many books and crannies that you can never feel on ‘top’ of each other. If you love cats and dogs, there are wonderful creatures here but still more a hidden secret that you won’t really encounter if this is not your thing. There is a sauna, there is a mini ‘beach’, food can be ordered in, wine and drinks flow, and the sense of peace. That’s the stuff that holidays are made of…

It was a little bit noisy sometimes because of the thin walls.

It is a little paradise! The little apartment area is really a charming, cosy and beautiful place to be. The apartments are very nice with an incredible view over the sea. There is a small path down to a small beach, where you can swim in the fantastic clear water and for children there is a little natural pool. Vangellis, Roula and Petros were great hosts who could not do enough for us. They provided us with great suggestions and arranged for a hire car when we wanted one, delivered to our door and collected again at no extra charge. The friendliness and care these hosts show make Vrachokipos magical.

This place is absolutely amazing! Roula and Vagvaze were excellent hosts and the location is stunning. We were booked for two nights and after one asked if we could stay for a third and they were so helpful and accommodating. Vagvaze even helped us start our quadbike when we were in a pickle. I would absolutely recommend this place!

A gorgeous hotel nestled above the ocean amongst beautiful gardens. We were upgraded to a beautiful villa when we arrived, however all rooms are just lovely. The hosts were so warm and welcoming, nothing was to much trouble. I would highly recommend the delicious breakfast baskets! It was such a peaceful and blissful break away for our family.

We were there in low season (end of sept) and some outside areas could have been tidied up a little- not a huge issue though. Inside was all clean!

This is a beautiful 'hotel' with rooms spread out between lovely seating areas looking over the sea Our room with balcony was right on the sea front and lovely to sleep to the sound of the sea. The swimming area with natural rock pool was a highlight and beautiful sunset views. The staff were really friendly and welcoming!

The public transport is close to non-existent, to bear in mind for seeing the island. But the hotel was just 15/20mins in taxi at a fixed cost of €13 one way- so pretty reasonable.

The private beach and views are stunning. The layout of the outdoor areas are all gorgeous & the breakfast basket add-on was perfect. Great for relaxing, watching sunsets and lounging in the sun :)

Internet access is 3rd-world: 2 routers available, both unstable, constantly switching between one and the other. ookla.com download speed 2-3 Mbps (I 've got 40-50 Mbps at home). Want to watch a netflix? Forget it; it'll freeze after 5 minutes.

Beautiful location, atop a semi-private bay. The property is a 5-minute walk to Souvala village with its cafés and super-market. The rooms are spacious.
