Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SwitzerlandAvoid eating inside the resort. Average quality for high prices. Go to Gialova.
Good breakfast. The food in the resort restaurant seriously overpriced.

SwitzerlandI think the food and drinks are too pricey and it’s t the limit where I don’t support this anymore - but this is across Greece at the moment. As the villa was a bit outside I would have wished to have a much greater minibar /fridge but not a deliver service charge for 9 Euros.
amazing location and resort architecture; beach front villa with two bedrooms with easy upgrade was one of the best we have ever had; the atmosphere in the resort and restaurant and lounges is just awesome

SwitzerlandStaff was helpful but not experienced enough for a 5 star resort
Very good new resort in a unspoiled environment. The pools were outstanding and the beach clean and spacious. The breakfast buffet was exceptional. The rooms were large and offered a beautiful view over the bay. A lovely village with a lot of restaurants is in walking distance. Lovely empty beaches are nearby.

GermanyFirst of all, the room was great and everyone was very friendly. As the hotel is on the expensive side, there are a few points that could be improved. Drone policy. Having people fly drones over the pool and at the beach is a nuisance and an attack on privacy. Second, the breakfast. While it offered ample choices and is in a great location - with sea view - the eggs were not warm, the pancakes and the waffles were hard. Third, if you have a room at the Agora part, you have a long way to walk plus a guard asking for identification which might be necessary but is not very inviting. A bridge connecting both parts was closed (an automatic door opening to hotel key cards would be a solution).

GreeceFirst day the cleaning service took away our beach/pool towels, without replacing them with new ones. Also they forgot to remove the champagne flute and our wine glasses from our complimentary wine that we had left outside in our balcony. They also forgot to replace our tissues in the bathroom, in which our tissue box got empty from day one. After mentioning all that at the reception, they managed to make up for it by visiting our room 2 times within the day and making sure everything was top notch. They were even bringing us extra bottles of water, as well as little treats and some wonderful beauty testers from the spa area, for us to use. We felt Grateful for all that! One more disadvantage, the TV after a while was shutting down without being able to reconnect again. Even though I don't enjoy technical issues, I was there to enjoy and couldn't be bothered to complain about that as well. Nevertheless the TV, if you manage to keep it on, it has all sorts of satellite channels from all over the World. Another disadvantage is that the Navarino Agora (an area with stores, restaurants and cinema) was not ready yet, since some parts of the hotel are still under construction. All these are supposed to open by August. But that was something that we were aware of, therefore I can't make a big deal out of it.
W Costa Navarino was everything I expected and even more! We had booked a wonderful Waterfront Guest Room, but to our surprise when we arrived, we learned that we got upgraded to a better Swim Up room. I guess because we were visiting off season and the hotel was not as packed, they managed to give us the upgrade. How can anyone be unsatisfied after that? The room ended up being impeccable! Very spacious and right in front of a sharing swimming pool area, that connects all the lower floor rooms. To top it all, a complimentary wine awaited us in the room. Apart from the swimming area right in front of our room, there are also plenty of sharing swimming pools to choose right in front of the beach and the deck/bar area. W Costa Navarino is situated in a different area than the old Costa Navarino (Navarino Dunes), which is only a 20 minute drive. If you don't have a car, there is also a bus shuttle that can take you there anytime within the day. First night we dined at Parelia, the only restaurant that was open at the time within the W. Modern Greek cuisine with a twist. We had fish of the day and everything was wonderful. The next day apart from swimming, I decided to use the spa as well, which was amazing. Second night we had dinner at Da Luigi (Italian restaurant inside Navarino Dunes area). "Da Luigi" signature pasta ended up being my favourite. Being extremely happy with our stay, we ended up extending for one more night. Therefore we had an additional day to swim at the sea and have lunch at Barbouni, which is considered to be a must visit. It didn't fail to disappoint! Our last night we decided to have Japanese, hence we made a reservation at Onuki. Their Spicy Margarita cocktails were yummy, such as their delicious sushi. As far as the breakfast goes, I've never seen 4 different rooms to choose delicacies from. If I could, I could eat there all day! Last but not least, the W Lounge is serving breathtaking views from the whole resort.
