House keeping. We had to get someone to come back with bedding for the sofa bed as only the double bed was made up. I'm sure I mentioned I was travelling with my daughter (26) but maybe not. Also towels, we arrived Sat, the house keeper came Tuesday, I said just towels. No,no I come back later. But when we got back no one had been. Same Wednesday we went out sure thar someone would be there today but No. We could have called Fay but as it was late both evenings we didn't want to. Yes so only complaint. Lack of clean towels

It was lovely for the 2 off us, cute- cosy except at night when the temperature dropped. It was equipped with everything you would need for a short break and it's located in the heart of pyrgos. But to get here in a taxi from the airport €36 and ferry port €40 Loocal travel by bus is €2

Fay is incredibly helpful and nice! I'd been worried about transfer and getting lost in Pyrgos, but with her on WhatsApp 24/7 my check-in and stay went seamlessly. The studio has a wonderful view on a church, local cafe and the sea. It's clean and cozy, I really appreciated coffee and water provided after a long flight. Recommend White Orchid for solo travelers or young couples (you have to climb some stairs to get to the facility, like almost everywhere in Pyrgos).

Location was great. The apartment was centrally located in the center of Pyrgos. Close by were several nice restaurants and a nice sunset spot. The owner was very helpful.

We didn't realize that the dehumidifier was full our first night, but once we realized we needed to empty it regularly the atmosphere was much better! You are staying on a island after all, there is going to be humidity. :) We weren't prepared for the amount of reliance we'd have on taxis or buses staying in Pyrgos, but it was a minor inconvenience that Fay helped us navigate expertly!

Our stay at the White Orchid Cave House could not have been better! Our host, Fay, was exceptional and did a lot of extra work helping us arrange taxis all throughout our stay and giving us great recommendations in the area. They also own a cute shop down by the beach with great clothes and products that you should check out! Pyrgos was quiet and beautiful, there were great restaurants and small shops to explore. There was a nice restaurant right outside our door that we could hear instrumental music coming from into the evening, and a great souvlaki place 15ft away that always made us hungry. The house itself was absolutely adorable, and we would 100% visit again in the future and recommend this apartment to anyone traveling to Santorini looking to stay away from the crowds.

Loved everything about the property. The design, the amenities provided, the location, the aesthetics, nearby parking- all if it! I had such a wonderful time. It was my first introduction to the island and I can say looking back it was the best! Thanks to this beautiful property I was able to enjoy the village of Pirgos to its fullest. I didn’t even need to use the car. It was great fun walking to the cafe strips, the bakery and town just a few metres away. Being a solo traveller made everything so accessible and easy to explore the dining and the gorgeous architectural surrounds. I wish I could have stayed longer, loved every bit of my stay.

Need more hooks to hang your towels to dry. Also more shelves to put toiletries on.. An extra mirror outside the bathroom would be nice.

It is in a very charming location of the town proper. Across the property is a great restaurant where we had dinner. I regret that we only had less than half a day when we checked in. We arrived around 4pm so we barely had the chance to explore the town of Pyrgos which was full of charm even with little that we happen to see . Our host was great about giving us instructions and suggestions. She was also and helpful to answer our questions by communicating through Whatsapp. We had a car rental and parking was quite tricky. You almost have to get lucky or you'll have to park so far and have to drag your suitcase all the way. Having a small car helped when you have to drive through small streets and have to squeeze in tight parking spots.

The house is very clean and cute. The apartment at first floor has an incredible view on Pygros. The host is very nice, she was sharing with us a lot of information about travelling in Santorini. I would suggest this apartment to who will travel in Greece!

Everything was OK, just a few minor comments: To be honest the room was smaller than expected; I think the pictures are a bit overpromising... Also wi-fi was working but it was often breaking. The rest was all good, thank you!

The information on the booking.com website is a little confusing. It's hard to know what you will really get. There's a restaurant in front of the house. Of course it's nice to have a restaurant so close, but it can get very loud in the evening. So I would recommend this place only to people who don't get to bed early :-)

Transfer service from and to the harbor was very good and flexible. I always wanted to stay in one of these "white" houses of Santorini and my dream came true in the White Orchid Cave House. :-) It was nice to see another village of Santorini instead of visiting only the most touristic ones. I'm glad I could stay a little longer. The place was also very clean and the view was also incredible.

The only negative is that there is a roof bar- restaurant just across the narrow street, so you don't have much privacy on the balcony, because people are looking at you.

We had a lovely few days stay here on our island hopping trip. The accomodation is central, has an absolutely wonderful view, the bedding is comfortable and Fay an absolute charm! She helped us find good dinner spot and, figure out how to get an ATV, which was a huge help when just arriving. Thanks so much, we will definitely visit again!!

The property is located in Pyrgos, which is a nice village off the beaten path. The room is small but cozy and well organized. Fay is a wonderful host, always available to help. Greek hospitality at its best. Recommended if you want to avoid the Fira or Oia crowds.

We absolutely loved the location in Pyrgos... We were so glad we stayed in this friendly, adorable town rather than Fira or Oia! White Orchid was so roomy and cool and comfortable with a great bed, hot shower, A/C, dehumidifier and so many nice amenities. Wifi consistently worked well. We could take the bus (schedule not always consistent) to Fira, the beach, etc. There were lots of good restaurants nearby and convenience stores as well. A bigger supermarket was down the road, which was handy. Fay, our host, was easily reached and replied quickly to any questions. A perfect stay!

There was nothing we didn't like, we loved it

Amazing traditional Greek property, exceptionally clean with everything you need for a perfect stay. Owner picked us up from airport and we received a typical warm welcome, and introduction to Pyrgos which helped us settle in perfectly. Central for an amazing stay, definitely will return and absolutely recommend White Orchid Cave House. Thank you Fay.
