How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We liked everything, if I'm being a bit picky, the water pressure with the shower tap could be better.
Beautiful hotel, the room was spacious with beautiful design. The bed and pillows were VERY comfortable and the location was perfect, getting to any point of interest with up to 5-20 minutes walk. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was very nice.

I liked the entire stay.
It was very good.I would have additional egg options on the breakfast plan like eggs Benedict which is extra.

Not much to do in hotel. Just to eat, sleep and go exploring Athens.
Room service from Milos restaurant? A dream come true! Friendly staff! Helpful. Especially Angelo! He was amazing! Location is centric. Water provided all the time. Value for money absolutely.!

For what it was, the rooms were rather basic, nothing special. Water in the shower didn't drain (this is a problem in many athens hotels) the room was expensive. There are many options in Athens that are just as nice or nicer for a lot less money.
Breakfast was a bit basic but okay. We happened to be in Athens on a national holiday and all the streets were closed. Staff helped us with a taxi to the airport. Taxi driver walked all the way to the hotel to get us. All was organised like it was just the most normal thing in the world. We appreciated this a lot.

Breakfast does not include olive , tomatoes, meat products, limited variety of cheese. Does not reflect mediterranean culture. Not self serviced. The waiters were not that accommodative while the front desk staff was very attentive and nice.

hard to say, but, in my honest opinion, breakfast, although satisfying, I found it a bit poor for such a nice property especially the restaurant is one of the best in town for lunch and dinner. charging extra for vegetables in the omlette is really not necessary.
the staff was unbelievably friendly and caring. Location was excellent. overall : a great experience for me. I will surely come back anytime I am in Athens.

No alternative to breakfast outside of the traditional Greek breakfast (which is delicious, btw).
The team at the front (concierge and doorman) were extremely welcoming, really make you feel at home with a few unexpected complimentary elements every now and then, it made the stay feel more special and more welcome as guests.

I agree with the other reviews, one minor inconvenience was the noise from nearby pubs during the night. However, this is typical for hotels situated in the city center, Athens is a noisy city.

It is ideally situated, tucked away from bustling and noisy streets, yet nestled in the heart of Athens, providing convenient access to all major attractions. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to learn that we had been upgraded to an executive suite. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect of our experience. From crisp and fresh linens, fluffy towels and premium quality toiletries, every little touch contributed to the overall sense of indulgence. The suite was overlooking a charming plaza with orange trees. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, ensuring that our every need was met with a smile. From arranging a late check-out to helping with restaurant bookings, their hospitality truly enhanced our experience. As if all of this wasn't enough, the hotel also treated us to a delightful assortment of complimentary treats, including fresh cookies, poached cinnamon pears, and refreshing beverages.
