Great view from the balcony overlooking the port. Comfortable room with a good wifi signal. Really appreciated the pick-up from the port and having our luggage delivered to the port after a day on the beach the day we left. Good location between the town above and the beach below.

Comfortable room situated between the port and the main village (Chora) of the island, with fantastic view of the Aegean sea from the cute balcony. The room offers facility to prepare your meal and was cleaned daily. Last but most important of all, the hosts are incredibly helpful and gentle!

There was a sliding door separating the bathroom from the bedroom that didn’t close all the way down. Perhaps this would resolve with some wd or other lubricant.

The room was cute and cozy with a nice view of the port. The owners were warm and friendly and gave us useful recommendations for our stay. They even offered to pick us up from the airport (but we had made other arrangements) and lent us detergent and their iron when we needed it. We left very happy with our choice of accommodation and would definitely recommend it.

Just a tip/observation: If you want to enjoy breakfast on the balcony in the morning - need to wake up a bit earlier before the sun hits hard (may become unbearable by 10-11am), it is better suited for an afternoon/evening sitdown.

Pretty much everything - from the pick-up at the port to possibility to store out bags till departure at 6pm. Bright, spacious, sparkling clean room. Good water pressure and temperature in the shower, toiletries provided. Small but convenient kitchenette to prepare small meals. Good location between the port/downtown (supermarket, bakery, bus-stop) and Chora - few flights of stairs up.

Giannis and his wife will welcome you to their nice property with real care. They picked us up and drove to this special location, underneath the Chora, quite difficult to find otherwise. The views from the balcony are great and the room very clean and nicely decorated. We loved this place as it is a few minutes walk away from the top of the Chora and also very close to the port. Recommended!

Nothing. I can honestly say that in 10 years island hopping, this is possibly my favourite accommodation on a beautiful island. If you like a comfortable stay with a friendly welcome on an authentic island, book now! 😀

Yalos Rooms is the perfect accommodation for a visit to this enchanting island. Perfectly located a little up the hill in Pera Yialos to ensure harbour views across the little bay, it is quiet, comfortable, very clean and incredibly peaceful. The rooms are cool (important in the August heat) with comfy beds and good air conditioning, and the balcony is shady for much of the day, as well as protected from the wind. Tavernas, cafes and supermarket all within short walks. The steps up to Chora take 10 mins. Unlike many in Greece, the kitchenette has all you might need for rustling up a quick pasta, salad or breakfast. The hosts Yiannis and his wife are super friendly locals with great knowledge of the island. When I needed to find an extra night’s stay in August at short notice (do book ahead, the island really does get booked up in peak season!), they went above and beyond the call of duty to find me another place to stay.
