How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Starts to get very quiet in late October as the resort closes. Also quite a lot of wasps! Can’t be helped but worth being aware of.
Wonderful staff, breakfast and views. Super close to the beach

Everything was just extraordinary great - the hotel architecture is unique, rooms magically beautiful, clean and cozy and the staff was very nice. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

The hotel has a great location - nice view on the beach and the monastery. The beach is only 50 meters away. Our rooms were charming and cosy. The breakfast was very delicious, especially the Greek one. The hotel is located next to the road, but during our stay in autumn the evenings and nights were quiet.

Situated on the main village road, nevertheless quiet at nights The refrigerator in the room was pretty old with somewhat unpleasant odor. Some shelves in the shower would be helpful… No parking. We found a parking spot very close to the hotel easily, but not sure it would have been so easy during high season…
Very nice little hotel, very well maintained and exceptionally clean. Location is very good, 50 meter from two nice beaches. A couple of good restaurants are within 2 minutes walking. All the staff is very helpful. The breakfast is excellent with freshly squeezed orange juice, very good coffee (different types), and many choices of food- including a healthy one.

Maybe the guilt that the room was cleaned after us every day. :)
The staff was extremely friendly, the hotel was close to everything in Paleokastritsa, the room was very clean, the cleaning lady came every day (she is super nice). And the food was fantastic. Especially the Greek breakfast and the ice cream

The stairs up to the third floor bedroom were a challenge. Not suitable for anyone who has mobility issues. In fainess, the stairs are clearly noted on the hotel information, but access was more difficult than anticipated. The room was well appointed, but rather small..
Lovely owner and staff, all very helpful. Super breakfast.

The staff here were super lovely and helpful. That's what made the stay. The clean and well maintained rooms, incredble breakfast, tasty frappes, proximity to the beach, location (Paleokastritsa is simply stunning)...these were all just the cherry on the top!

Bathroom was quite small and was hard to contain the water in the shower and sink!
Loved this charming hotel! Great location and lovely breakfast each morning- got to choose from great freshly made options (not a buffet) I liked the little balcony with glimpses of the water views. I would definitely come back and stay again.

Everything was great
Great location, next to the old town part of Budva. One day we had a tour very early in the morning, and the hotel staff prepared a breakfast box to go. The neighbourhood is incredible, next to the bay and many restaurants. In the main floor there is a restaurant/bar really cool.

The most fabulous hotel which we will be recommending to everyone! A family run business with the hosts and the staff at the restaurant consistently being helpful and welcoming. The rooms were absolutely gorgeous with the most amazing rooms from the sea and two minutes walk from the beach. Over our 4 day stay we did breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel restaurant and all meals and service at the restaurant were fantastic - we particularly loved breakfast with the view. Thank you so much for such a lovely stay Zefiros Traditional Hotel! :)

The room was very clean, modern and nicely decorated in neutral colours. We had sunbeds on the balcony. Hot water was always available. It was a very short 1 min walk to a beautiful beach. Our breakfast was included in the price and had lots of choices. I choose the Greek breakfast and my partner chose the English breakfast. Both were very nice and came with a hot drink and freshly squeezed orange juice.
