The shared toilets were okay, but you could clean these more often.

I liked to be near the center in order to take the metro from Monastiraki. The bed and the towel were clean and overall almost everything was clean.

1. The female only dorm's security, I stayed at a 4 female dorm room. When I came back from sightseeing, I found a lady brought a boy in her bed, she was half naked. I was stunned to see her when I opened the door, and the room was dark and found a boy lying on the bed. Seems like they're having sex. I am just terrified to see this. Thankfully, 2 other room patrons arrived at the dorm room, and the boy needed to leave. They didn't seem to leave when I arrived. 2. There was no kitchen facility. The top floor kitchen was meant to have a boiling water facility, but nothing was available 3. cold shower at night. I took a shower around 9pm and it was cold.

Given I only used it as a sleeping FOB and hadn't spent much time in it. Not much I could list. The main thing I guess that pops to mind. No communal kitchen to be able to make "cheaper" meals yourself if one would be extremely tight on their budget. And if I were to be nitpicky. I guess the showers were either only hot or cold so you had to constantly adjust the knob for the water to mix as it was flowing.

Lovely staff which was extremely welcoming and gladly gave some neat recommendations. Location wise it is perfect as it's in the centre of Athens and everything I frequented was within 15-20min walking distance away for me ^^ In regards to the Hostel itself, it's about what you can expect for a location with it's asking price. It was by no means anything luxurious. But then again. You don't go to a hostel for "Fancy". It was a perfectly suitable accommodation for crashing at for exploring Athens ^^

I booked from booking and i paid by card 36€ per night . I stayed one more day without booking online and I paid 38€ for the same room at the reception!

Getting onto and off the top bunk especially in middle of night is a bit hazardous and the shower head is very broken

The streets are very laoud at night.I can't sleep at night at all although I was so broken and tired.. and it's same all over in city areas in Athens..

If you compare it with the price everything is fine .. you can stay smoothly one or two nights.

The hostel is located in Sofokleus which is known for being the bad part of town, so if you walk downhill from the hostel you may enter bad areas. Worst of all is the noise, day in and day out it’s extremely noisy with cars honking and trucks idling, people shouting etc. The rooms offer bare minimum, only a sheet, pillow and a blanket (and the bed too of course). The common area only has a few benches and not very inviting, also there is no kitchen for guests to use

The location is very central, short walks away from Arkropolis and Monastiraki. If you need to take a taxi, there’s Omonias sq. which is about 3-400m away from the hostel Also the price is very nice for being in the middle of Athens

Hot water can be hit or miss and can be a long wait. The rooftop is the only real common area and is frequented by many guests but is largely neglected by staff (although the bins are emptied daily). Littered with building materials, it could be so much better than it is (as at April 2024). The "kitchen" on the rooftop is a joke: while there is a fridge, a kettle, and a microwave (the latter apparently provided by long-term guest Samantha), there is no cutlery and almost no crockery. The water supply is intermittent. The kitchen area is in need of a deep clean, some basic utensils, and a lot of maintenance.

Location is good. They have 24-hour reception where 2 out of 3 staff are nice, friendly people. Rooms/dorms and bathrooms are clean, and beds are comfortable. Security wise, there is proximity-card access to rooms/dorms (but no lockers available). Some rooms have little balconies and a convenient wash basin inside. Towel provided on request. Rooftop is disappointing.

Although the hostel is located close to the major tourist attractions, the area is not really safe. Beware of pickpockets and keep your backpacks/bags close. It's kinda strange that the showers and toilets have glass doors? Frosted glass but you can still see if anyone is inside. The kitchen was not great. It's on the rooftop! If it's raining, be prepared to cook under the rain. You have to pay extra for the safe.

Right in the city centre, 20 min by foot to Acropolis. Free towels. Hot showers. The room I stayed in had a wardrobe, a table and a chair. Sockets near every bunk. WiFi was good.

No free lockers are available to leave my luggage. The only one available was 2 euros for each time I opened it. and it was outside the room. Expensive and inconvenient. And also the kitchen and roof top a bit uncomfortable and not well equipped.

The kitchen had 1 fork and 1 plate. I had my own travel untensils with me but there wasn't even a bowl for muesli in the morning so I bought a tub of tomatoes, ate them, and then used the tub as my bowl. I also ended up sharing with other people because there were no cups to drink out of either so we had to wash the tub over and over so that we could all drink something.

The location was really good! It is walking distance from the Parthenon and any museums around it. There are also super markets and fruit markets nearby. I wouldn't call this a plus or a minus but the people can be a little out of the ordinary. I saw reviews saying that before and I didn't really think that much of it but it's true. Nothing bad happened to me but you should be aware of your surroundings and think about who you're with before you agree follow them god knows where.

The sleeping room was alright, the toilet door was broken though. I did not use the lockers because I would have had to pay 2€ everytime I used them. The window in my room was broken, it got a little cold during the night.

The staff always helped when there were questions. The sleeping room was alright. I liked the kitchen because they have a kettle, microwave, a plug in stove, pans, spoon, knifes and more stuff, they also have a fridge. There is not mich but it was enough to cook. The Hostel is very very well located.
