Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

The hosts were incredibly friendly, and their house was filled with comfort and coziness, offering absolutely everything you might need after a journey! Fruits, yogurts, snacks, and even wine were provided for free. I didn't need much, but the choice blew me away! This is what real hospitality is about, making you feel like you need to return someday.

The experience was flawless from beginning to end. The hosts were exceptional and demonstrated the utmost kindness and professionalism. The overall experience was simply remarkable. If any establishment were to merit a rating higher than 10 stars, this would be the one.

BelgiumThe very hospitable Zoe and Kostas offer you a very good place to stay if you're in transit between flights in Athens. The place offers all comfort and is also ideal for families up to 5. Nearby is a square where you can eat and drink outside or inside for a decent price and enjoy your first or last moments in Greece. Also very convenient: the distance to the airport is only ten minutes by car.

PolandI don't have the words to express my delight at staying at Zoe Garden Home. I travel a lot, but with such hospitality, kindness, heart I met probably for the first time. If you add to this beautiful, spacious, comfortable and functional apartment, it is basically the perfect place. I recommend to everyone, and to the Hosts thank you! We will be back!

AustraliaWhat I didn’t like was that we have only found one such property in Greece.
The property was easy to find, well located with proximity to the airport. The owners are on site living in a neighbouring property, which is fantastic. They were a delightful couple, friendly, helpful, nothing too much trouble. The couple provided welcome treats, samples of local liquors and many other treats in the kitchen for us, complimentary. The accommodation was brilliant, everything worked as it should, Kitchen and bathroom very well equipped with everything travellers need. The owner also offers transport to/from airport,

I wanted to take a break from the city life of Athens, Santorini and Mykonos so chose Zoe Garden Home. Approximately 15 minutes drive from the Athens Airport and you reach a Greek village which is quiet, much less populated, no crowd and a slow pace of life. This is the place which has to be experienced. The hosts are super caring and they really want to make their guests comfortable. I wanted to go to Athens, the owner of the house was generous enough to drop me till the metro station and then picked me back because it’s a village and neither me nor the owner had a clue from where to get a bus to metro which connects Spata to Athens. Connectivity is a problem in villages but the gentleman who owns the house was there for everything. The house is so sweet. My best stay in Greece.

GermanyThe host, Mr. Kostas, was great! I was staying in Spáta for just a couple of hours as I had an early flight the next morning. It's only a 10-minute drive to the Athens airport, which Mr. Kostas took me for a fee, even though I had to be at the airport at 5:30 am. He has also provided a lot of snacks at the property, which I was not expecting. The fridge had a lot of options to drink and his wife had made some typical drink from Greece as well. As I didn't have much time in the city, I thought about going to the outlet mall a bit, which Mr. Kostas offered to take me by car as well. However, the house was so cozy and comfortable that I decided not to leave and stayed there relaxing and watching Netflix (also provided by the host). I went in end of March 2024 and the house was all decorated for Easter, which was a nice touch, adding to the coziness of the house. It was a lovely stay, thank you, Mr. Kostas!

It's clean, big, beautiful garden, ACs and 2 televisions. The kitchen is fully equipped. I really enjoyed my stay and I'll recommend it to my friends. I'll definitely come back. Thanks 🙏🏻

FranceI cannot thank them enough for treating me so well !!! I couldn't take my flight that day for unwellness and I was physically and mentally so exhausted, but it turned out to be a blessing not to have taken the flight that day and stayed at their place. Their kindness was beyond imagination and long story short, meeting them was such a blessing experience. After my arrival at night, I realized that the key from my Airbnb in Athens where I stayed was in my pocket. So I had to go to Athens that night to return it since my flight was in the early next morning. I was not only so weakened from all the things that happened, but also feeling so stupid, hopeless, and panicked. I started to search how to get to Athens from their place but realized that it was too late for public transportation. I was just hopeless and so stressed but explained to them what happened. They calmed me down and without any hesitation, suggested that he drive me to Athens. It was 22h, and his wife told me that she just wanted to take a ride that day so was good timing. I just couldn't believe how nice they are. We successfully returned the key in Athens, and on the way we had such a nice exchange. In the end, I realized that it was a blessing to be unwell that day and miss the flight. In the beginning, I was feeling so stupid to eat something bad before the flight, and sad for losing 200 EUR for my flight, but this allowed me to meet them and eventually return the key. Needless to say, their place was so lovely and they provided generously all kinds of drinks, snacks, and easy-to-eat foods. They even protected me from taking a taxi from the airport which takes way too high charges. God bless them.

It was very close to Athens airport. Kostas and Georgia were excellent hosts. The place was beautiful, well maintained, exceptionally clean and had a homely atmosphere. They provided food like noodles, snacks, drinks etc and due to this I didn't have to go out for dinner at all and I could take a good night rest. Georgia's home prepared drinks were great. Kostas picked and dropped me back to airport for small charge. He even made an extra run back to home because i forgot my jacket from home and he was kind enough not to charge me for that. I will definitely recommend this place to everyone who is looking for a quick comfort stay near airport.

Kostos kindly met us at the Athen's airport Metro where he picked us up. Thankfully the AirBnB was very close to the airport and Kostos kindly picked us up. Therefore no need to hand over keys as Kostos let us in. It was a very personable experience. Absolutely nothing was too much for Kostos, as he met our every need. So much so we had an early flight back to the UK the next morning and Kostos kindly dropped us off at the airport at 05.00 am. There was ample for us to eat, a very good bottle of white wine in the fridge which we had between us the night before. It was a wonderful AirBnB experience. Thank you so much. We will definitely be using the Zoe Garden's again when we return hopefully sometime next year.
