I should say the hostel is good expect the lady Staff in the front desk in the day shift. She seems polite but very mean and hypocritical Which let me feel very uncomfortable!

I had my own room, but shared bathrooms. The showers and toilets were not the cleanest. The breakfast really dissappointed me. Just pancakes with cereals and some fruit. Maybe it was to please people from the United States, but it was just sad. And all while the local breakfast is amazing!

The staff was friendly. The location was good, not too far from the airport. The room was okay.

It was a warm restless night without air conditioning but there was a good fan in the room and we knew this when we booked :)

24 hour reception meant we received a whatsapp to confirm we were ok coming from the airport at midnight, and that we had a really lovely welcome from the gentleman at the desk. Also breakfast was included which was great for us before leaving for Antigua the following day.

The rooms on the first level don't have much sound proofing so bring ear plugs :)

Very convinient location. We stayed one night after arriving in town and waiting for our shuttle for Atitlan. Pick up from the airport was really smooth. Appreciated the free breakfast as well!

We had great stay.. super location, save area around, really helpfule and kind personal, thay give us some useful information... even thay organise for us breakfast at 3 a.m. because we have to go earlier. clean and cosy room, clean sherable toilets and kitchen...

The place is super noisy. We had the room on the ground floor next to the common space and it was very loud. Not a great place if you need to go to bed early for a early morning flight because of this

I reccomend choosing the 14 bed dorm, otherwise you'll be in the smaller dorm which is near the front desk and door and you will be awake most of the night with the noise from outside. You'll see what I mean when you get there

The (2) cramped 6 room occupancy downstairs with plywood walls next to the common area for dining was the worst idea ever. I could hear guests talking loudly early in the morning from my room upstairs. I strongly recommend putting signs “ silence “in the common area. Also, a cigarette bin outside the building help’s tidy up the curb.

Great location. Close to bars, restaurants and the airport via Uber. George was very professional and hospitable to the guests. I’m impressed with his character and patience to unruly guest.

You still need to take a 16-euro Uber to get to the airport. The area is chic (but safe) which makes the shops expensive.

The way the hostel is set up is not the best because there are dorms right by the front entrance. The older man who was working at night was never down at the front desk. So people are constantly ringing the bell and knocking on the door, even late at night. When I arrived back the second night at 10pm, I had to ring the bell three times and knock loudly on the door and still he didn’t come. Finally one of the other guests had to let me in. Two other people also had similar experiences. He finally came downstairs for them, but it took awhile. When I tried to address this, he said he was upstairs watching the cameras. If that was true, I don’t know why he wouldn’t see someone waiting at the door and come down, as the wait was long. He was also very rude when I tried to ask him about check out and why there was no one at three desk. When I went to leave, he wasn’t down there and I literally would’ve had to leave the door wide open to leave, so I had to ring the bell to get him to come down, which was not good for other guests who were sleeping. I think the cameras should be downstairs so that the front desk staff can actually do their job. I think if you are coming and going during the day, check in should be fine, but if you get any of the downstairs rooms, you will probably be woken up with all the people ringing the bell multiple times due to the inattention of the overnight staff.

The hostel was pretty nice, bed was comfortable and bathrooms were clean. I didn’t get a chance to eat the breakfast because I left early both days I was there, so I can’t comment on that.

I arrived at La Aurora International Airport (GUA) at 19:30 and got an uber to this hostel, 8 min drive! It was very easy to find with a huge picture of a hummingbird in the entrance way. The area feels safe and has a lot of restaurants. Unfortunately I don't know more as I was only there for one night and pretty much went straight to bed! The manager is delightful!! Facilities are really good, free filtered water, great showers, clean kitchen and lounge areas upstairs. Really comfy beds with curtains for privacy. I left early to get the 0600 shuttle to Antigua from the westin across the road (leaves from the Forecourt) and the manager still made me early morning pancakes! In the kitchen he had a jar of, what I would describe as a pineapple jam and then he offered me something that looks like pineapple but is actually weatermelon! I put both on and my breakfast was delicious! Recommended hostel :)
