The establishment is a little out dated and could use a little update.

The staff went above and beyond to make sure that we satisfied. My wife needed Creamer for her coffee during breakfast, so a staff member went to the store to buy some. We also needed a place to park our scooter at night and they allowed us to park it on thier porch. It was the extra mile that they were going for us that made our stay even better.

Internet fails.

The location is unbeatable. Great food and drinks. I stayed at a cozy room with AC, enchicha was a life saviour, at night it was too hot!

The manager was ultra chill when the internet went down for visa. Good location.Excellent restaurant and service.

The pre-paid breakfast is served from 9 to 11. I had to leave for scuba diving at 8, and was not able to have breakfast before diving. The coffee at the hotel was very weak. I asked for stronger coffee for $4, and got the same weak liquid. Only one person at the hotel speaks English. The mattress on the bed was old and thin and the springs were hurting my back. Room service was not done. No refrigerator in the room.

The hotel staff was very friendly. The location is perfect. AC system in the room worked well. The hotel is safe, lobby is cleaned daily.

Where do I start… Lousy furniture, close to unworking appliances, cockroaches in the room. For 3 weeks stay the room was cleaned 3 times. All there after numerous asks. Beach towels - forget it! Horrible dump!

This place was so so so dirty. The walls looked like there was smeared blood on them, there was duct tape over holes in the walls, no hot water in the sink, the one and only towel rack was broken (like ripped out of the wall), red markings in the sheets, the shower didn’t drain so we were in standing water, club music playing until the middle of the night, next door dogs barking into the middle of the night, and then at 430 am the dogs started barking again for HOURS…the only bedding was one sheet - no blankets, and of the multiple lights in the main room only one had a working lightbulb . We left after one night to go someplace better. We understood this would be a basic stay but expected at least hot water, clean walls, working lights, and a towel rack - not to mention silence during late and early hours. We paid in cash and the guy said no refunds but it says online that there’s a 64$ cancellation fee.. no partial refund was given.

Terrible staff, terrible management, charged us the price of three nights when we stayed one when asked why they said we had five people and we clearly only had four. We originally had three nights booked and we're so disappointed that we canceled it to 1:00 and they would not refund we originally had three nights booked and we're so disappointed that we canceled it to 1 night. However they charge us for three.

Overcharged for our stay by 150$ When asked manager said we had five people, we had 4. No refund and no resolution from booking.com

First of all, I did the reservation under my name but then I send a msg to explain that my boyfriend was arriving one day before me. I sent his name and information needed. Even with the confirmation from the staff, guess what? When he arrived they tried to stop him and only after long conversation and explanation he was able to proceed with the check in. On the second day when I arrived the ac stopped working in the morning. Staff was called ,they came to the room but issue was never fixed.also the reservation was made for 2 people right? There was only one towel and even asking them to bring another one, we never received.

The location is very good. Right in front of the beach and some local shops, bars and restaurants just walking distance.

loud because of proximity to the street and late night partiers and neighbors with loud barking dogs. rooms are dated and bedding was missing a top sheet on one bed and both top sheet and blanket on the other.

right across the street from half moon bay and super close to everything. complimentary breakfast was made when ordered. staff went out of their way to get us coconuts when asked where we could get some.

Booked expensive suite-bedroom, living room, kitchen, balcony; no living room, no balcony! Reception was never available, no breakfast, restaurant closed most of the time. No value for a lot of money: avoid!!!

the first room they gave me did not have the balcony, a tv and looked like a rat cage. then I was moved to a room that my reservation described. the manager argued with me that this isnt what I reserved. I showed him the booking details and he got quiet. the tv wasnt working, the room was filthy and needed a cleaning. there were still empty beer cans strewn across the balcony, no towels were provided and the balcony furniture was broken. Oh, that balcony view of the beach - all power wire cables across the entirety of the view! so with now 4 employees in the room: 2 were trying to get the tv operational, one lady was sweeping the balcony and throwing out the garbage and the other gal came with room deodorant spray for the bathroom. Spray, not a mop, a broom...but spray! the bathroom had only a trickle of cold water. no hot water at all. finally I persuaded her to get a bath towel, wash cloth....she came back with only 1 towel. the two beds had such a thin mattress - so much so that you felt the bed frame coils right through it. of course, I didn't get into the bed because who knew how long those sheets were on it. the younger manager was rude...and frankly I'm glad nothing was ransacked while I was away. free breakfast? no one there at 7:30am. oh well!

Miramar has a great location. Full stop. That is the only thing going for a positive feeling.

We got to Miramar early, and the staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. They stored our luggage for us while they prepared the room and they set up some lounge chairs on the beach while we waited. The Penthouse room was incredibly comfortable and had an incredible view of Half Moon Bay. The location was perfect - it was right in the middle of West End and close to dive shops, restaurants, etc. The staff continued to check in on us throughout our stay, making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back soon!

The bedroom was not ready, it didn't have enough towels and toilet paper. We asked for an extra towel and they didn't bring it. We were not able to pay with credit card and they didn't have change when paying in cash. We waited 2 hours for a very poor breakfast. The shower was old and dirty.

We spent at Miramar Hotel in Roatàn 6 days and there were a lot of problems in this place. We were four and we booked a Room of 50m² but at the beginning they gave us a Room that for sure Was for a couple...We couldn't neither open our luggages and we had to go on the balcony. After that we spoke with the owner and he gave us another double room but the problems are not finished. Breakfast Was not edible and we had to go for five mornings at the next bar. The hotel in general and the rooms were dirty and old and i don't Want to speak about the Miramar's Kitchen since it is a public restaurant too. In five days they didn't change us the towels or they didn't clean the rooms. We had some problems during the night because there was always a party inside the hotel with high volume music ,drunk people and with strangers that came in the public aereas of the hotel. I finish this comment telling that the last night we found two cockroaches on the bed.
