Had some less than ideal interactions with the staff.  I had a friend stop by, and the front desk told me my guest wasn't allowed in my room.  I understand security concerns, and would have been happy to have them sign in, but wasn't given that as an option.  Instead, an armed security guard showed up not just knocking, but pounding on my door twenty minutes later, demanding to know where my friend had gone.  I explained that they'd dropped something off for me, and left, but was worried that the guard might come in my room to search.  It was kind of scary.  Why would I not be allowed to have a guest in my room, especially when I'm paying for a room for two, and traveling solo?   And why would it be handled that way, by sending an armed guard to slam on the door of a single female traveler? It felt aggressive, and shaming. My hot water was inconsistent, it would get scalding hot without touching the knob, forcing me to jump out of the water.  I had someone come to the room twice to fix it, but eventually was told that the whole hotel had the same problem, not just my room.  The airport shuttle was 45 minutes late picking me up from the airport, and 30 minutes late taking me back to the airport, even though both had been confirmed.  Once they finally arrived, they were friendly, but it was stressful, especially on departure, when I was risking missing my flight.  They also tried to charge me $50 for an early check-in, even though I was checking in at 4PM.  Possibly a translation issue, but still odd.  No room service and reception wasn't helpful when I asked them about other local delivery options. View from my room was the back of another building, and their HVAC systems, not pretty. Beach towels were kind of ratty and frayed. They also hosted a large party one night, closing off the restaurant and grounds to guests. It ran late, with loud music, and fireworks just before midnight.

Location was good, room was straightforward but clean. The view from roof was pretty. A bunch of good options for breakfast, which changed daily, including fresh juice, omelette bar, and waffles made to order.  The woman who served the tables at breakfast was great. The grounds were nice and lush, and pools were pretty. Beach bar had a nice set up, plus having beach chairs was a perk.  Game room is fun to have as an option, especially on rainy days.  Easy to book my COVID test to return to the US.

Pillows were horrible. They were insanely large. Went to ask for a smaller one at reception, but they didn't have any other ones. The shower was extremely poor. Very inconsistent hot water level. I'd have hot water for 20 seconds and then suddenly all cold again. Then it would come back so hot you'd burn yourself. The food was okay, though there were barely any vegetarian options, let alone vegan options.

The location is the best there is, you're in the west-bay area. It doesn't get any better than that if you like the beach that is. The staff was very friendly, that was nice. The food was okay, though there were barely any vegetarian options, let alone vegan options.

The pool was under maintenance so we didn't get to enjoy that, but other than that it was great.

The facilities were well kept and clean, the room was spacy and bed was big and comfortable.

I upgraded our room to a king bed and the pictures displayed a big patio with chairs and a table. When we arrived the room had a king but the space and b’room is small and we just had two basic string chairs and a little table outside our sliding glass door with no patio. Also there was a window in our shower and while there was a shade, it needed to be wider. I was taking a shower when people were walking up the stairs. I had to duck to not be seen.

We were treated as if we were the only ones at the hotel. Everyone was so helpful and kind. From the time we stepped on property we felt completely welcomed! Olga was our waitress the whole time and we felt like good friends! Dawson was so helpful as well constantly checking to see if we needed anything. Our stay was a joy!

Miner issues are the basic hotel rooms would be nice to have a small rug by the bed and maybe something in the shower to hold products.

Great location, with beautiful white beaches. The staff were warm and friendly. Especially Olga at breakfast and Christopher and Dawson at the concierge desk were very helpful. Lots of bars and restaurants and activities around the property. Housekeeping was great too!!

The ocean view isn’t. Don’t bother with it. No coffee pot in the rooms and only some rooms have fridges. We didn’t get a phone till right before we left. Showers are salty-ish water and the shower head is a disaster. Only two small drink waters per day.

The place is clean and the staff is amazing. The restaurant is great and the drinks are very good. The location is perfect. The pool is very nice.

My stay at Paradise was amazing as usual. The room was beautiful and clean with daily service from a caring staff. The check in staff was also awesome and Marvin and Oscar down at the beach were top notch at taking care of me. I can't wait to return next year.

The hot water in our Oceanic room was an absolute joke. The rooms have a 2.5 gallon hot water. This allowed for about 3 minutes of warm to hot water. That is not long enough to wash off sand/salt/sweat/sunscreen. It is also gravity fed, so there wasn't much pressure. When the water was not hot, it was ice cold. The second big issue was the front door of our suite. It was flimsy and had large gaps around the entire frame, as well as a deadbolt that barely caught the thinnest piece of already broken wood. Our safe didn't work upon arrival and needed to be fixed. The view from the Oceanic suites off the balcony towards the sea, is an ugly back of building and cement pad. The restaurant and bar service is laughably slow. I will attach photos of the unsafe door and mini hot water tank.

Beds, toiletry refills and breakfast were good.

Hmmm nothing my time here flew by

This place is amazing. I’m simple the housekeeping was outstanding every single day they came and cleaned my room spotless. Now breakfast is outstanding also they have a huge variety of food and even have an omelet bar, they pick you up from the airport. They have a lot of great staff anywhere on the property. Darwin the lady who checked us in the guys that offer tours to the dive shop guy’s all outstanding. If you are worried about your safety don’t be they have it squared away security everywhere!!

When talking showers water had a salty smell/ taste, bathroom was very small for a big room. Two doors opened right into the toilet, only one person could fit in the bathroom. When taking a shower people can walk right past your window. Couldn’t relax on my deck because they were doing construction on the hotel very noisy and if it wasn’t that our neighbors were very noisy. This is not a hotel for a quiet and relaxing stay. The beach restaurant food is just Okay, stay away from the BBQ ribs, wings, etc. Infinity Hotel beach restaurant is much better option. Bananarama beach restaurant is another great option good pizza. Will be looking for another hotel next go around

Great location, numerous programs to take advantage of, snorkeling, scuba diving, jet skis, fishing, tours, water taxi, numerous restaurants along the beach or just taking it easy. Good breakfast, okay gym.

No water in the bedroom, front desk staff not welcoming . Transportation from airport to hotel and vice versa none existent. Had yo take a taxi. Etc.
